The explosive blaster bolts mean when an enemy shoots you and you deflect it, the bolt will explode on them.
You can collect some red bricks that will grant you: Studs x2, x4, x6, x8 and x10. All of these together gives you studs x3840, and when you finish levels, you can have around 1,000,000,000 studs!
Been playing this game for 8 years, and I still miss the red brick on Battle Over Coruscant every time

The x2 is for studs, along with the x4 brick extras. The great thing about them is that the multipliers are stackable. Ex:
1 blue stud (1000)
X2 enabled
X4 enabled
=
8000 studs
And you can get x2,4,6,8 & x10 stud multipliers, all enabled at once!

Fun fact. The original Lego Star Wars game (which only had episodes 1-3) was released 2 months before Revenge of the Sith was released. So this was the first time a lot of kids experienced its story.

You see, what you need to get are the stud multipliers, but don't jump to one of the high-end ones... the prices go insane fast.I think they're all in the shop in the order they appear in the levels. Start with the 2x and go up from there... and all of the ones you unlock stack with one another. 2x, 8x, 48x, 384x, 3840x, 46080x. By that point, you pick up one silver stud on most levels, and boom, true Jedi.
You only get to x3840
I remember playing the original game on the PS2 without the checkpoints on battle over coruscant I raged so many times.

I used to play this game when I was younger and I don't remember exactly how to get it but you can get the ghost form of obi wan kenobi, yoda, and Anakin Skywalker in that shop. And they are super cool but expensive!!

Jedi can also use the grapple pads like people with blasters. Just press what you use for the blasters (I think you use b) and the Jedi do like a super jump.
Those last four were Jedi Knights. Not that it really matters since you're still doing story, but I personally I always feel its worth while to buy them when you can for the character variety.
Last six, actually. Not just knights too, but Jedi Masters and generals.

Genny I think if you play the bonus round in episode one you MIGHT be able to play as boy Anakin destroying the evil headquarters in the yellow ship. I am not positive, but I think I remember playing that level.

The way you could have done it, is by switching to the person not being electricuted and using the force on either deku or your partner, I can't remember.

Nope, it unlocks special characters in some levels.
With Extra Toggle, in Free Play mode it unlock a few bonus characters that you can control and play as. Some are: Skeleton, Womp rat, and some droids that you find in the sand crawler level.

I know that this video is almost a year old, but the reason that they had no instruments is because you have the music turned off.
If I'm not mistaken, when count duku was doing his electric/lightning attack you could of blocked it to reverse the bolts. Not sure though, but I do not think the way you did it was the way you were supposed to :D
When I first played this I thought so too because of the movie but that is the way you're supposed to do it. If you're in free play you can shoot him with your gun tho.
you have died more than 3 year old me in this series, I died about 70 to 80 times. the whole game.
This hurts my body seeing him being a noob!
If you are really enjoying playing this game I think you would like to play the Star Wars:III The Clone Wars after this one, even though that there is a second game first, I loved to play the third one and I think you will aswell, mainly because of the graphics, the fighting technics and also the characters there are a lot more. The main HUB is not the same the characters are different and with different and better designs, more sofisticated battles and there might be some repetions of the levels, but I'm shure they are improved. There is also some levels that don't make part of the original movies but it's a lot of fun. Anyways like the series and continue.
