Thanks for the video man! Looking at picking one of these up to replace on of my 5 channel POS boss amps lol, do these accept 4 guage? Or am i gonna need a terminal to step my power wire guage up to 6 or 8 guage?
Depends on how many speakers you have but this amp does as low as 2ohm stable if you have only four speakers then you can just wire them positive to negative to each channel
Only for those who don't know how to use them people say that about taramps but I've been using them for years and no issues besides the ones that we're my fault
@Realdude rec Little update. I actually did end up blowing 3 of the 4 6.5's I had hooked up to the amp. Now I have Prv 6x9's hooked up to it, and they sound wicked. This amp is far more powerful than I thought it was.
Dang bro I hate to be that guy but I kind of told you so LOL good luck and be careful with the prvs I usually blow those easier than the ds-18s ds18's hold a lot of power but you have to have the frequencies right on them or they'll blow prvs are the same way but more sensitive
Do you have it on and off switch or it stays on, cuz my blue light stays on at all time
Mine cuts off with the switch sounds like a wiring issue

It should take 4ga it's been a solid amp no problems in like a year
Awesome! Love too hear that! Thanks for quick reply man :)
@LegitChillin420 no prob glad I could help
They saved money on production doing that with the terminals. It works but, is weird if you don't know what you are doing
Yea just have to pay attention to what you're doing
Bought this to run 4 DS18pro 6.5s at 4 ohm each so they should get around 170watts rms a speaker
I have 4 of 6.5s and 6 super tweeters on mine it's too loud
How did u like it in literally about to do the same set up with 2 ds18 6.5 and 2 prv 6x9 both rated same rms.
It's OK I'm still running it definitely more power than my soundstream
I was thinking of running some tweeters and mids on this amp do you think it would be too much for the tweeters?
You can put it on tweeters as long as you adjust it right I'm using two channels of it on my super tweeters and two channels of it oh my mid bass 8s
So you had the the speakers wired at 2ohms postive positive and negative negative (parallel) so do have them wire in series now on the doors ?
Parallel still
So you have them wired at 2 ohms so it really makes it 1ohms? Butt that’s a 2 ohm amp correct
No it's 2ohm all the way around 2ohm per channel basically I don't think it would even run if it was one ohm never tried
Ok thanks for the feed back I just got this amp and I’m running 4 6.5 ds18 @4 ohm each
Nice that should work out great
How do u wire 4 ohm speakers to this
Depends on how many speakers you have but this amp does as low as 2ohm stable if you have only four speakers then you can just wire them positive to negative to each channel
Nice
Thanks bro it sounds better
Are the fans on the amp loud?
I think it is at first but maybe it gets quieter or you get used to it I don't know this anymore LOL
Fire Pit

Do you have the tweeters hooked up to the amp aswell?
I did but they all blew the first day from bad signals
Because this is a class D Amp
@purpboyz813 yes sir
Screaming bro
It's definitely louder for sure
howd the amp work out?
It's working pretty good still running it it's really strong 💪
Would this power 4 ds-18 pro 6.5's nicely?.
Yes sir and possibly blow them if you're not careful
@@countryboisavage damn lol ok. Glad I got the 1200 instead of the 2000 then.
Lol yeah it's a strong one

Thanks bro
Weird shit!!!
It's cool but suks when your wiring is already done certain way
Nice
Thanks bro definitely big difference 1200 vs (1200)
