Do you have any recommendations for what types of takedowns that people should know for Street defense or even for police officers trying to take down a suspect?
For a police officer I would suggest doing a few wrestling practices and live sessions; a few hours of actual wrestling experience is much more valuable than trying to do a specific move. With that said, the double leg is probably most important for an adult beginner.
For upper body wrestling (applicable to folkstyle and freestyle): body locks, head locks, trapped arm body locks, and slide byes. For Greco: same, except add arm spins/throws and remove the leg attack ones.
You are such an awesome techer snd dynamic wrestler Jason.
Thank You for all of your work.
Thank you

Knightstick.
If double leg, high crotch single, and head inside single are the ABCs of lower body takedowns, what are the ABC...s of greco throws?
