I've played this game from 2008-2016 on and off throughout the years. I really miss that era but I'm glad I got to experience it...imo the pay to win, legendaries, elite mod, and other outrageous stuff in the store brought the game down hill. It all started with a simple classic FUN shooter game, then as time passed the fun got diluted. I'll never forget the simplicity which made this game top tier
combat arms is an amazing game. I loved it. Spent thousands of hours playing it. This game should be available on PS and Xbox and then it'd be popular. I spent thousands of dollars on it and if it was popular I'd play it again and would spend thousands of dollars on it again.

I remember playing this game back in 2010 - 2015. At times I couldn't even get into servers because of how full they were. I used a VPN to connect me to Combat Arms EU since the NA and EU servers were 2 separate games. it's sad to see where this game has gone, and unfortunately I don't think I will ever play it again
I'm hopeful for Reborn, but I'm a lil worried about any copyright/legality issues since it's an older version of Valofe's game. Idk if that'll affect the project in any way but hopefully not
Ahh i haven't played CA since 2012 , its the only game i ever got hacked on. I had a lot of fun playing this game even though it was so full of hackers. I myself got a accused/ kicked many times as i had the best sniper rifle and would often 1 shot people while camping above. But the sheer amount of hackers made me quit the game. Looks like nothings changed. I'm amazed it isn't dead already.
Hey, It's Garkender, I am the one that came into your stream telling you about how I used to try out for TFP, It would be cool to play with you even though this legend of a game is dying Also CA should just watch your videos since you are like the face of Quarantine Regen
Which appears to be gone now. Tried it out last night after a long hiatus, just to see the shop basically empty, it had a small handful of assault rifles for GP for 7 or 30 days only, and that was it. No Perms, no snipers or pistols or anything, all gone. How is this game not dead yet?
@@GodOfGamingBG Every time I look back at combat arms I genuinely get frustrated at how this game was treated. Since I started back in 2009 I had so many great memories of the game and now it's reduced to this shit. I really do wonder what the fate of the game would of been had it still been with Nexon.... I'm sure the only reason why they sold it off is cause reloaded basically flopped but what are you gonna do? They were so out of touch with it all lol. They tried to do a graphical update when no one asked for one and then panicked when no one cared, shame. Also pisses me off knowing what happened to Reborn.... All hope got completely shot down. Honestly at this point all we can do is pray Valofe shuts the game down so MAYBE Radeon will bring back reborn but that is probably severe copium. TLDR: Valofe fucked the game
@@NintenJoeGamer yeah, I played it since 2008 beta days, so I remember when the game did not even have NX yet and everything was GP only, then even after introducing the black market it had nothing OP in it, just basically weapon reskins like the m4a1 desert warrior.. but later on greed prevailed and they started adding op weapons and specialists and all kinds of crap, and it has been downhill ever since... would love to see a private server revitalize the game, maybe when its finally completely dead and shut down, it might be possible to launch one... hopefully Radeon holds on to the files and waits patiently for his chance to strike
This was my favorite game of all time. I even tried to play the game after Valofe destroyed it, even after the Cyborg outfit and the extra op guns. What really killed the game for me was the swat vest that had a 85% damage resistance to all guns, and a 95% resistance to assault rifles. Seeing an AK-47 do 14 damage at point blank range in 3 hits is depressing af
I've been tempted to go back time and time again, nostalgia is one hell of a drug. but i doubt any of my friends still play (probably the only reason that kept me going for nearly a decade playing this game)
I used to playing this game a lot in 2012 to 2015 when I was 13 year old together with many real life friends. I hit the GOA rank and lost my account after Nexon sold the game. I spent alot money on NX, even so many permanent weapons. Miss CA many good memories were made. And then I found a Destiny game made by Bungie in 2015 loved that game too
Since 2014 i always play ca for 1-2 hours in the morning 24th december. Now iam 23 and i still do it. Just for nostalgia. I just realized it was such and unique game in 2009-2013 years. It was like small community u can jump around. QR guys, SnD players, Fireteam HQ spammers (thats me lol), MIX POL,TUGA,TR players. U could join them every moment. The game felt like it was endless. I would love to see it reset to state of 2010 so it would be more new player friendly.
It’s so strange going back and playingg The Classic again after so many years. Like not just the fact it’s nostalgic, but it just feels so much like an empty shell; empty servers, even more overpriced items, even the bubba’s stash screen feels off. Thank goodness Titanfall 2 and Apex took over for that fluid motion and heavy gunplay kick that Combat Arms filled, but even still I can’t help but go back and replay the game. Even got a cheap iPad 4 to play Combat Arms Zombies which gave me memories on it’s own. Great video Stiff, really can’t wait to see how Combat Arms Reborn and that other game turn out.
Yeah, they really sucked a lot out of the game and people responded by leaving the game. But exciting things still coming in the future that I'll be making videos about :)
I remember I got people so annoyed on my server cuz I always had the Friendly Fire on as my tool of pure destruction while the other team always had an insane chaotic maniac. So we both would kill our allies. What funny times that were...
The fact that the game is still alive with loyal players just shows how much fan it is! All the different game modes, the maps... I loved the tricky two towers map, both elimination and quarantine, not to mention capture the flag at snow valley and arms race at junk flea/oil rig. The soundtrack is amazing and it's very unfortunate that the game owners took no care of it over the years. Particularly, I find it way more fun than every other fps game around, even though the graphics are very outdated and nothing really changed over the last 10 years. If Valofe really wanted, they could just add a real anticheat and remove OP weapons (biohazard shotgun, AR-15 double barrel...) to make the game popular again. The only thing that made people avoid the game is the cheating history and overpowered weapons...
I randomly decided to download CA classic today and I was just saddened by its current state .. I only found 4 lobbies but luckily I ran into a OG CA player and we both reminisced about the good old days.. it is truly sad to see how this game ended 😢
I spend so much money and time on that game, and at the moment when they shoutdown the servers I didnt play but I was so mad cause I lost everything. CA is one of the best old games when I get nostalgic I have nothing to remember the feeling of, except memories.
Blast from the past. Played this a lot back in the day, for years. Had a high level account (like CPT 5 or MAJ1 or something) that I had left kinda dormant, and then missed the migration so lost everything. Couldn't be bothered starting again. Was super active on both the official and unofficial CA forums too. Was a lot of fun back in the day, melee/pistol only CTF's on Junk Flea, was a bit of a demon in the one man army sniper only too. Don't think any FPS I have played since has captured the same feeling in terms of the gunplay.
I used to love the game. Actually played in a clan that was in the top 3 clans of Germany. We played every single night and it was so much fun. Then the game just started to die out completely.
I remember back in the day if anyone got any killstreak above multikill it was an instant kick. People purposely losing just to keep from getting kicked is so fckn real its insane
Loved playing this game, it was one of the only games that I actually poured alot of time and money into. I remember when glitches first surfaced, especially on the map Rattlesnake, I would glitch into the boxes and shoot anyone walking by or glitch onto the moutanins and snipe people below me 😁
It really pisses me off in quarantine Regen 98% of all quarantine Regen matched they don't allow you to use torrents or mines or any explosive weapons. Even if your good at the quarantine you get Reported anyway for being called a hacker or a cheater. The game is my childhood since 2012 and I'm disappointed that these things happen from hacking to more. Also i wish they made the game to PlayStation 4 and 5 and Xbox as well
I would literally be so excited if they brought combat arms Classic with better graphics and gameplay to PS5! But I doubt that will ever happen:/ R.I.P CA 2008-2014.
i played this back at it's height, iccarus, if anyone recalls, but got a new job that required a year of travel, haven't played it since it tanked big time
To be honest, the only things that made me return to this game were the quarantine and battle group modes, because I have never met such a cool zombie design anywhere, and the fact that on some quarantine maps you need to hold out to get into a safe zone made this mode really interesting and intriguing. And the battle group mode, where the success of the mission depends on each member of the team, was for me one of the best team modes that I met in online games. I think if this game was not so pay to win and went towards the community, regularly updated, then it would live to this day.
The only icing on the cake would've been that they release in game client system where users can change and make maps themselves. The maps got old real quick and people were aware of all the hiding spots and tricks. Having users' create maps themselves would've actually extended the game's longevity.
the best thing about this game at the time that I played was mods, not the cheating ones but the ones that that had cool camos / custom model swaps like dual micro uzis… that’s what got me into the modding community, now star wars battlefront II is where it’s at.
Damn bro, I just watched this video and was interested to see where Kill Spree was headed. I joined the discord linked on the steam page, and saw that less than an hour ago, the owner announced that he no longer has the funds to further develop Kill Spree. He's now selling the game :(
I miss CA, have a GOA account I nurtured for a decade but I feel like it'd just be sad to see the state of the game now. The movement was something I haven't ever seen again.
@@StiffTheNinja is anything similar other than movement and QA if i may ask? I wanna play quarantine regen again on any game similar to CA that's not CA rn but for kill spree i gotta wait and will pay if i need to :D Also is there a discord or anything for kill spree
Ca reborn will never come out, I asked them a question about reborn if he will come out and they said that at the moment it is not possible for that to happen
Ah, of course I remember the game. Playing from mid 2011 until 2016. Playing all night into early morning. Grinding until I made GOA 3 years on my main account. Unlike many, I played this game from my late teens into early adult years. Unfortunately, I hadn't been much from 2016 mainly because my computer I was playing on was messed up. And I basically was unable to save my account, when Combat Arms switched from Nexon to Valoffe. So I haven't been on since then, but those days were fun. Playing QR on all the classic maps as well as the new unique maps they've made. Remember the Specs, Mercs and Mutagens of course. Doing Elimination on Oil Rig, Junk Flea, Death Room. Playing Cabin and all the other Fireteam maps. Remember even power leveled on the Hired Guns Map. Oh, those were the days. 🙂
Best shotting game of all time by a wild margin. I'm still playing it today sometimes. Nothing even comes close. I wish they made a remaster for this game with better graphics and revive this game cause it really is an incredibly good game
its really sad to see that one of my favorite free to play games is kinda dead that hurts i hope that this game will have a comeback 2010-2016 where my ca days
This was one of the 1st F2P games I've played. I use to play it quite often, until several years later I quit because the hacking was getting ridiculous & it was starting to feel P2W.
Me and my friends used to want to play this game together 24/7. Back in 2008 to 2011, this was ALL we played together. After revisiting it in future years, it's genuinely so nostalgic that it puts a smile on my face. The dated but charming and enjoyable aesthetics, the announcer, the characters voices, etc, everything I remember loving about the game. Except it just felt, so... Dead. So little players, and the little that remained seemed to be mostly cheaters. Now there's TWO versions of the game for some reason and it's Even more P2W than it was back then. Which is so sad, I love this game and have never played another game like it. At least not one that was actively patched and supported in the US. I hope that Combat Arms Reborn somehow resurfaces, maybe when Valofe gives up and shuts down CA one day. Who knows, all I know is I long for the Combat Arms that me and my friends used to absolutely adore.

Hey, It's Garkender, I am the one that came into your stream telling you about how I used to try out for TFP, It would be cool to play with you even though this legend of a game is dying
Also CA should just watch your videos since you are like the face of Quarantine Regen
The ONLY thing I like about reloaded is the ability to buy basically any weapon with GP. I think you can also get perms with GP but that's it.
Bingo!
Hopefully combat arms reborn releases and is a success. I really miss this game when it was awesome.
And then I found a Destiny game made by Bungie in 2015 loved that game too
i miss this game alot , ill played ca 2008 to 2011 wow lot of nostalgia right now
here in brazil CA still has players but it used to be wayyy more 5 years ago, but you can find a lot of rooms and people still playing CA brazil
I miss combats arms but no one plays anymore
It used to be such a huge game makes me sad tbh
Woah I can't believe the game is still up. It's been 6 years since the last time I've played. Overdose map was my favorite map 😔
I made a lot of friends in the Nexon years. We're still friends to this day. I do have fond memories of this game
I remember the constant struggle of finding a good stable match while my cousin happily played until I hopped on and crashed everything
2009-2011 was peak CA.
I've got some fond memories of Snow Valley back during high school.
I miss it as well, it was my whole childhood... I LOVE YOU GUYS :((
I used to love the game. Actually played in a clan that was in the top 3 clans of Germany. We played every single night and it was so much fun. Then the game just started to die out completely.
me and my older brother use to play this it was a fun gmae to play i cant go back to it i want to keep my happy memories
I remember back in the day if anyone got any killstreak above multikill it was an instant kick. People purposely losing just to keep from getting kicked is so fckn real its insane
My gun does 48 dmg, I fire 3 bullets on dudes chest and does 7 damage? Feel like power creep ruined a lot of guns
Miss this game so match clan wars were insane one of my fav times growing up I was in a clan called zombie cookies
Loved playing this game, it was one of the only games that I actually poured alot of time and money into. I remember when glitches first surfaced, especially on the map Rattlesnake, I would glitch into the boxes and shoot anyone walking by or glitch onto the moutanins and snipe people below me 😁
i remember two glitches in oil rig, one in the Crane and one near the toilets.. God i loved that game so badly😂
Man i remember the glitch on junk flea that could get you under the map
Or the glitch on kill creek in the rock
Bruh I miss that game so much
bringing some good old memories
Played this since 2008, miss those days
Does anybody remember water only quarantine
i played this back at it's height, iccarus, if anyone recalls, but got a new job that required a year of travel, haven't played it since it tanked big time
You are really OG when you played quarantine regen on kill creek and camped under the bridge with 4 other players 🙌
Having users' create maps themselves would've actually extended the game's longevity.
man combat arms in 2010 - 2012 was the good times
The zombie part takes me back damn
I used to play this game for HOURS AND HOURS. Game so much fun
the best thing about this game at the time that I played was mods, not the cheating ones but the ones that that had cool camos / custom model swaps like dual micro uzis… that’s what got me into the modding community, now star wars battlefront II is where it’s at.
I introduced this game to one of my friends back in high school he got so hooked on the game he even maxed out his dads credit card 😂
rip wogl & cgl, best combat arms era ever
Omg this comment just brought me back 10 years. What did those stand for exactly? Any other memorable words lol

Facts
Man this game was life back in early days. And this game got me into hacking lol. It was a great experience
I remember the day of baxstar weapon reviews... man its been so long.
Kill Spree should be interesting since it’ll be a game being developed that’s inspired by CA movements
@@StiffTheNinja you gone do vids on it because I'll forget about that name lol
@@StiffTheNinja is anything similar other than movement and QA if i may ask?
I wanna play quarantine regen again on any game similar to CA that's not CA rn but for kill spree i gotta wait and will pay if i need to :D
Also is there a discord or anything for kill spree
Waiting for the CA Reborn
Ca reborn will never come out, I asked them a question about reborn if he will come out and they said that at the moment it is not possible for that to happen
@@iMareee yeah it won’t come out right now, but soon.
Reminds me of being a kid, in the cupboard under the stairs on the old family slow pc.
I played this game from 2009 to 2015, I really miss playin Clan War at 3 am with my homies damm time goes fast af:/
This is a very good video, it suprised me.
I LOVED Fireteam so much! Cabin fever was so awesome when it was released.. it's a shame the game never fixed it's lingering issues
This was one of the 1st F2P games I've played. I use to play it quite often, until several years later I quit because the hacking was getting ridiculous & it was starting to feel P2W.
I remember playing this a lot 09-2010
comabt arms quarantine was and still are the best zombie mode ive seen and played
The nostalgia is real
Ame a este juego como a ninguno desde mi infancia lo jugué solo hacia eso después de la escuela con mis amigos nos íbamos a jugar desde los 11 años le jugaba & hace como 8 años que no le juego 🥲
Combat arms was my first fps love still think about wanting to download and play this game
