Hello again Andrew. I took my test AT THE CENTRE of course and passed. They didn’t give a score which they said I would get in about 5 days, however, they did tell me “congratulations you have met or exceeded all target areas”. It also explained that there would be a review process and that PMI would determine whether or not to make the results official.

Having to wait 5 days for the results of your exam is awful. They should at least tell you immediately if you provisionally passed or failed, and then they can give the official score later after they've finished their verification process.
That’s right! Should we write to them and suggest it? 😂 Perhaps they can think about it. At least if you fail, they should say straight away. Imagine wait 5 days and knowing that you fail because of the score.
Thank you Andrew for sharing. I tried twice to take the exam at home and could never finish due to 'technical issues'. The second time I was in question 132 when the proctor told me he couldn't see me and he was "relaunching' my exam. And I could never go back. I'm done trying at home and will go to a tester center. Thank you for your videos and the knowledge you share!
Hi Andrew, I passed my PMP exam with AT in all 3 categories on the first try. Your book and videos are were extremely helpful in passing my exam. It as 95% scenario based with only 1 math question.😃 I took the test on Saturday afternoon and received the result on Sunday evening. Many Thanks!

Hi Andrew, I wrote on Oct 6th (Friday) and found out in just over 24 hours on Oct 7 (Sat). I didn't expect to hear back on the weekend but very glad I did! A pass with 3 AT. Thank you for your exam simulator as it was very helpful to prep!
Same with the PMP application. I just filled out the application, got notification that I'll get an email within 5 days.... Also to note, the experience part for the application now requires 60months experience not 36 anymore (like in your course) Thanks Andrew, looking forward to studying some more and writing the exam soon!

Glad I took my exam earlier (1st September AT in all areas thanks to Andrew ) ….but having to wait 5 days is a lot. However I do get why they have to probably do this so people don’t cheat as well. It’s quite sad people choose to cheat instead of working hard to achieve it.
I took my exam at a test center. When I completed the test the screen stated I would find out my results within 24 to 48 hours. But, when I was getting my personal items out of the locker, the guy at the front desk handed me my preliminary results stating I passed the exam and got my official results the next day.
Hi Andrew, actually this news is good move from PMI to filter cheater. Happy to share that i wear all blue and passed the exam with overall AT. I also want to add on that i took the exam yesterday at the Pearson vue center, and this morning i already got the email from PMI that i passed. so i guess 5 days is the maximum. Good luck for everyone who will take the exam!
I am sorry to hear that some people were cheating on the PMP exam. I was not a fan of taking the exam from home. I always prefer going to the exam center for all my exams.

Having worked as a PM at a major Canadian company that develops and administers exams in the healthcare industry, I can think of many reasons for this. I suppose it sucks not knowing right away, but if this makes the entire process more fair to the ones who give it their all, I fully support it! That's just good project management! BTW, I just started your course today and so far, I love it! Trying very hard to turn my brain into a blank slate. ;)
I had my test on the 28th of September. it was had not to get the results right away. I had taken my test in a testing center and received my email 24 hours later with my result. I did pass with 2 above target and 1 at target.

I took the PMP exam a few days ago and passed it in the first try. Although PMI says that the result will be delivered in 5 days, I actually got my result the next day.
I took the exam yesterday Sept 22nd, 2023 and got a message congratulating me for passing but indicating that the final report was going to be delivered within 5 days following PMI's confirmation. It was a bit confusing as I was expecting to see a report so I reached out to the proctor who confirm that indeed I had passed. After a couple of hours I got an email with instructions on how to retrieve the test score from my PMI account. All domains AT thanks God but it was not so nerve racking as I just needed the confirmation of the score not the actual results of the exam.

it is terrible that we are taking our exam on pmp that talks about stakeholder engagement and being stakeholders, we are not told anything. I contacted pmi and I was told that we would be told at the end of the exam and it will be announced on the 25th. I am just disappointed.

I am unable to concentrate on studies ..should I look for job or prepare for exam...always I feel guilty about not preparing for exam .time is passing by ...once I prepare for exam it tend to neglect preparation of my job search ..my present skill set is not related to PM...I think i am lacking time management and motivation and hope for a better future ....unable to boost myself ..

@@sivap.c I doubt. They have not mentioned it explicitly. Not sure If you have seen the notification that authorized training partners have received about it, but they say that anyone who is suspected to be doing cheating, will be asked to go to the center and give the exam. What does it imply? They consider or "view" CBT as safe. Question : Consider a person choosing the exam in center as the first attempt. Will PMI ask the person to give it in the center again, if found suspicious? Not really. Doesn't make sense. Expect a revised clarification from PMI soon.
Any update on your results yet..any msg on the screen post the exam or none at all asking to wait for 5 days and my understanding it’s 5 working days and if a weekend falls in between it’s like 7 days??
I took the exam yesterday, i was cruising like a cruise ship. Completed with 25 minutes to go and got above target in all the categories. Luckily it was before the changes, else they would have thought i cheated 😂😂😂

Hey Andrew, just so I understang this applies to those who take the test at home AND those who take it at a facility? I'm taking it in October at a testing facility, so I will still have to wait the extra time?
There are only two approved test centers in my entire country, and both are located in one state. There are countries with no test centers permitted to run PMP, meaning you would literally have to travel to another country to write the exam. And PMI says "at your own cost"? Disappointing 🤔
Hello Andrew, My application was approved in December 2022, but I have neither paid the fees nor scheduled the exam up to this point. Furthermore, I won't be able to take the examination before December 2023. What would be the best course of action for me to prepare for the exam in February 2024?
ISO certifications exams (e.g. 9001, 14001,45001 etc) for lead auditors accredited by CQI-IRCA (UK Body) are conducted while recording the camera and mic. Result is announced after 10 days if IRCA found no malpractice during the exam by analysing that recording video and audio. So change in PMP exam result time isn’t a thing to worry.
Hi Andrew. I just took my online exam and waiting for result. Unfortunately there was internet power cut for 15-20 mins and I had to relaunch PearsonVue simulator. Proctor called 2 times in between to check on what's going on. I explained the situation to her, and she asked to relaunch PearsonVue. Now I am worried, if this incident will be counted as some kind of violation during assessment and will PMI give me a failure.
Its me scheduled for 25th September 2023 starting from 1:00 am CST, and looks like its me waiting for 5 days for result @Andrew does it apply to me as well Any expert opinion

Is that with a four-year degree? Their Website still shows 36 months experience with a 4-year degree, but 60 months without a degree.

Yes, changes are for both in Center and Online exams. Need to wait for 5 days to get the result 😒
@@sivap.c I doubt. They have not mentioned it explicitly. Not sure If you have seen the notification that authorized training partners have received about it, but they say that anyone who is suspected to be doing cheating, will be asked to go to the center and give the exam. What does it imply? They consider or "view" CBT as safe. Question : Consider a person choosing the exam in center as the first attempt. Will PMI ask the person to give it in the center again, if found suspicious? Not really. Doesn't make sense. Expect a revised clarification from PMI soon.
Any update on your results yet..any msg on the screen post the exam or none at all asking to wait for 5 days and my understanding it’s 5 working days and if a weekend falls in between it’s like 7 days??
I took the exam yesterday, i was cruising like a cruise ship. Completed with 25 minutes to go and got above target in all the categories. Luckily it was before the changes, else they would have thought i cheated 😂😂😂
Unfortunately, I did not pass my first try last week, I'm very disappointed :-(

It sounds it will be better to go to a on site module to do the exam, as they verify your identity with an official identification 😢 good luck to those applying after the change is effective!
Hey Andrew, just so I understang this applies to those who take the test at home AND those who take it at a facility? I'm taking it in October at a testing facility, so I will still have to wait the extra time?

There are only two approved test centers in my entire country, and both are located in one state. There are countries with no test centers permitted to run PMP, meaning you would literally have to travel to another country to write the exam. And PMI says "at your own cost"? Disappointing 🤔
With this new change, would you advice taken the exam at home?
I personally feel this is good - if weeding out cheating is the objective.
There are tons of people out there who are finding fraudulent methods.
That means a change will be coming for the PMP-ACP?
Not sure how this is possible as you have to show your ID and must be in camera the entire time? Sounds like poor execution from the proctors.

Hello Andrew, My application was approved in December 2022, but I have neither paid the fees nor scheduled the exam up to this point. Furthermore, I won't be able to take the examination before December 2023. What would be the best course of action for me to prepare for the exam in February 2024?

Will this be for all PMI exams or just PMP? Will the PMI-ACP be affected by this change?
ISO certifications exams (e.g. 9001, 14001,45001 etc) for lead auditors accredited by CQI-IRCA (UK Body) are conducted while recording the camera and mic. Result is announced after 10 days if IRCA found no malpractice during the exam by analysing that recording video and audio. So change in PMP exam result time isn’t a thing to worry.

Hi Andrew. I just took my online exam and waiting for result. Unfortunately there was internet power cut for 15-20 mins and I had to relaunch PearsonVue simulator. Proctor called 2 times in between to check on what's going on. I explained the situation to her, and she asked to relaunch PearsonVue.
Now I am worried, if this incident will be counted as some kind of violation during assessment and will PMI give me a failure.

Yes, PMI will send us an email within 5 business days from the day we’ve given our exam for both (at home & the one at a testing centre)

Wish I saw this earlier. I was so confused when I took the exam yesterday and I didn’t see my results. But I got my results within 24 hours saying I passed. Thanks for the help Andrew!

I took mine yesterday at Pearson - At 12pm EST it will be 24hrs and I still don't have results. I'm freaking out.

They should make it mandatory to take it from a centre now. That will ensure that the legitimacy and the quality of the certification is maintained.
