- Think car academy sent me an OBD2 reader when I was having issues with my car before Xmas, alas the product got lost in the mail. Not to be deterred they sent me another one said it may help to diagnose any issues I had with the car and of course would I kindly review the product on my channel.
I am not a mechanic and many of the terminologies on the device went woooosh straight over my head. BUT it did tell me why I had Starting Issues. Not only that it linked me directly via Wifi to a website with answers to the problem. An amazing bit of kit for a Dinosaur like me.

What a coincidence, I've just got back from the post office, where my car went into limp mode with several lights on the dash!! Might have to invest in one of these to find the problem

I need to get me one of those battery charge thingies, I rarely use my car, it has moss growing on it in some places😂, but whenever I need it the battery is dead... 😅

It does. After I went through the tutorial it was easier to use
open it play with it !try and work it out !then go back to the instructions 🤣🤣🤣when its not doing what you want it to do 🤣🤣🤣
Down here it has been very cold in did I want to por concrete but the cold weather is not helping.
Well with these new modern type cars you can't always fix them with an 'ommer.
Ooooh believe me I’ve threatened that Volvo with the Ommer more than once
It's free and better than nothing. Easy to head off on a wild goose chase when you don't understand what the thing suggests is wrong and buy parts you don't need...

Well this was, as a dinosaur I’m not qualified to say it’s the best, but I have had other OBD2 readers that either didn’t work or even find the fault, what impressed me the most was the direct link to the internet to possible answers.

Go to Topdon forget this. I do this for a living as you know Ian my opinion. Ok opinions are like assholes everyone has one. Can it do dfp regeneration nope it has live data so what my 20year old Autel has that. I could have told you that heater plugs relay was a fault with that engine. The steering wheel angel sensors fault is because you keep turning the key causing the battery to go flat flags a code for steering wheel sensor. Air bag light will be the plug at the seat normal problem. It's about as good as copper painted alloy. My opinion
