I leave in 4 months lol. Can't wait. Staying @ crown paradise the crown club suite. I saw the notice on their page about renovation being done hopefully it's complete by the time I get there
We’ve been to other resorts with renovation that was extremely loud. This was not that bad at all.
That looks so awesome. Such a beautiful environment.
I quite like this new video of yours. Not necessarily what I expected when your notification went off but very entertaining congrats! And your kids are adorable!
I more made it because it’s videos I look for lol
Cool insight. Xcaret Hotel is an awesome option!!!!
Thank you for this post! Please continue to post more destinations in Mexico!
We usually go somewhere 2-3x a year and I haven’t been posting for awhile. Maybe start again. We are heading to DR next week
Wow that was a thorough review, I liked it. As a family we have gone to the Villa del Palmar Resort in Los Cabos and we all loved it. all the food was great, service was amazing and the grounds and rooms well maintained and up to date. If you haven't gone I would recommend. I've sent a few friends and family members and they loved it. Again, thank you for that great review of Crown Paradise club resort Cancun.
We actually have been to Villa Del Palmar. Both Los Cabos and Cancun. Much better than Crown Paradise. We did Crowne Paradise a second time in Dec of 2020 and it had gone downhill quite a bit.
@@TheXtremeChannelMrX Do you have a review of Villa del palmar Cancun? since we had a positive experience in Cabo we thought of going to the one in Cancun.
@@alberto5381 I don’t. My channel mostly focuses on other items. I just tried this as we usually go to 3-4 all inclusives per year and it didn’t do very well for the channel.
I appreciate your feedback we will definitely take your comments in consideration when we plan to go to Cancun. Would you have any reviews of Puerto Vallarta which we are going this coming March 2020?
Thanks
Yeah we went in Spring of this year. Stayed at a pretty nice resort. A Secrets.. adults only. Really nice. There’s not as good beaches on the west side but I’m not a beach guy.
We have booked for this August, from the UK. Booked this hotel as looks great for our 7 & 10 year old kids. We are easily pleased & don’t walk around looking for faults. Family holidays are what you make it a lot of the time. Helpful review, thanks. 👊🏼🇬🇧
Never been to Mexico but this looked great to me!
Thanks for your honest opinion. I wish I would've watch this video before my mother in law booked her reservation. My husband and I dont have kids and usually go to a less kid friendly, more upscale type of resort but we're going on a family vacation this year and the major perk was kids stay free which is hard to compete with. Do you think the rennovations will improve this resort by july 2020? What is your advise on restaurant reservations? Would you suggest going out for a better dining experience for dinner?
I don’t think the renovations were being done in the areas that had significant run down issues that I showed. Thankfully they weren’t really in the way or bothersome. We typically go to less kid friendly places as our kids are pretty well behaved and not normal kids (at least in public.. monsters at home lol). For safety reasons we typically stay at the resorts now a days but in the past we did dine out for better options. However, like I said the property itself has lots of activities and is on a beautiful beach.
@Tay Thanks for your response. Unfortunately we had to cancel due to covid-19 my husband and I got a travel voucher for our deposit so we can travel at a later date.
@Tay does the buffet have lots of fruit?
Going there in March , mainly because of the beach , is it nice ? My 7 year old son is excited about getting in the water
Yes. Beach is the best part.
I've gone to Cancun a couple of times, most of the time we stay at the royal resorts . I think they are 4-4.5 Stars. But this one offered insane restaurants and amenities. Thanks for the review. Mister x
We’ve done Royal Cancun and Royal Sands. We liked Sands a lot
I appreciate the review.
Hands down our favorite place in Cancun so far has been Hyatt Ziva Cancun.
Steer clear of Planet Hollywood Cancun
Funny you say that. Our travel agents for our company just sent me options for our company trip next year and BOTH of those were on it.
Ive been in 2018 it was really nice, the food was excellent, and our hotel had A balcony, the service was really good and they gave us toy animals On the bed.
We actually just booked another trip back for next month because the prices are a teal right now.
Does anyone know if the place has been updated since this video? And with Covid are all the options opened?
We went there for a second time in November. They rotated what restaurants were open and only had some bars open
@@TheXtremeChannelMrX I think we need another video update lol
Kids running wild KILLS a resort for me... Reason I think I have to book adults only.
Could deff see where it would benefit from some renovation from what you said. But hey you went on a trip and I didn't so it was still 100% better than anywhere I was at the time lol
lol
4 to 5 resorts? Wow!
Cancun is great
With two bathrooms in the family suite 7 - did any of them have a bath TUB? Not a fancy bath TUB but just a TUB option?
Not in the room tour I showed
@@TheXtremeChannelMrX You are staying they only have stand up showers in both bathrooms? NO TUBS?
@@hollyvander8037 I would have to watch this video again. This is the only room I was in. I show both bathrooms in the video
You’re missing the upstairs adult pool bar.
Beautiful children MrX..The place looks good enough..Not sure about the upright bedpillows though..how do you sleep on those?..And remember..Darth Vader never leaves home without his Master-card for a 5 Star Hotel..Cheers,Ian
Hey John, sounds like you weren't too impressed, what made you book a trip to this resort, a recommendation or just fancied It on a whim?
Whim. One of the few open availability during a Holiday that was suitable for kids.
I see, shame It was disappointing, I guess you won't be returning any time soon. Have a great Christmas 8-)
Stuka Von Ferno You as well! We still had a great time I just hate potential wasted!!!
so do you recommend me to go for one week.. for my mom birthday? or not going there?
We actually just went there again and it was even more run down. It's hard to find somewhere near that price point though. All in all still fun.
@@TheXtremeChannelMrX but if we dont care about price... what do you recommend me? like for resort.
If you're heading down to Cancun Moon Palace is really nice.
@@TheXtremeChannelMrX its 7,000 $ for three people ...its too much..
I though u don’t care about price
I'm only part way through the video at the moment, so please forgive me if you answer it later in the video, but did the beach feel secure? Been to beach areas in other countries before where you head out to go for a swim and when you turn back to look at your towel on the beach, it's already been stolen with everything else sitting on it. Hahaha! This was a good vid. Thanks Mr. X
Xtremely secure. We had no qualms about leaving our stuff anywhere.
hello, is there a nightclub here? is the nightlife good?
Unsure as that's not really our style.
How do you give it a 3 when the only thing you said you liked was the beach
Very easily
Nice stuff
Thay had a sports bar and an adult pool one the 3rd or 4th floor . Which was a beautiful poor with to jacuzzis
So you mentioned there is room service, but for $5?? Is that per order?. Do they refill the mini fridge with beers, soda, waters for free?
Yes. $5 per order. They do refill the fridge for free
Nice! Modelo's for the kids at 11:43. Lol I was looking for a review on this place and I think it's a no go we'll probably book for Barcelo Maya Beach this time around
Do you also earn rewards through costco travel?
They don’t. But I’ve priced stuff individually and its actually cheaper through Costco. Plus you will typically get some spiff (like a $300 costco card) and you know you have a big name protecting you.
Never knew that
I agree....some people don't watch their kids, and that's shameful!
All inclusive are awesome, but dangerous...free flowing alcohol 😐😐
Always wanted to go to cancun, but after what I heard last time I wouldnt.
We go to MX 3-4 times a year. We always have arranged transportation and stay at the resort (we explored back in the day). Never an issue.
Bad ass man
I have question, I have friends from cancun, from previous hotel! They work there..... temptation! Can they visit me? Or they need pay for visit me? As for example! Go with me one time to restaurant to celebrate with me that I return. Sorry, my English is bad, I'm Russian......
I am not sure. I would assume they need to pay.
@@TheXtremeChannelMrX like a day pass? And do they do free covid test? Or you have to pay when you return usa?
@@zballfan Most places do a day pass. I don’t know if they do Covid tests. We went again in December of 2020 and they did not have Covid tests then.
@@TheXtremeChannelMrX thank you
Do you realy think the beach is amazing? Yes there is pleanty sand and plenty water.
I would rather smaller or no waves.
Yes
Terrible place.
Agreed. We went back during Q4 of 2020 for dirt cheap due to Covid, and it was awful.
@@TheXtremeChannelMrX yeah, will never go again. It looks like a run down 80’s hotel. Also, the food is TERRIBLE. Staff are assholes.
