  • The 'Radar Room' began in 2017, when an R1155 receiver was exchanged for a modelling shoot, complete with fashion model... Here is a very brief selection of exhibits, all of which have been rebuilt and work properly. Please check out our other videos, as several of the items you see here can be seen actually working.

      Hi John,
      for your future reference: radarroom.125mb.com/html/contact.html
I remember visiting Salisbury Hall in the early days when you only had the prototype Mosquito and you allowed people to go up in the cockpit. (Somebody said recently that you now do this again?)
Sadly we don't have a musum as such that one can visit, but we have had one-off visits to view equipment in the past. Please contact me direct and we can find out whether we can help you with more detailed pix or a better video etc.
      Chris

I'm glad to see new collections go "on air", it's hearthwarming. Due to the recent death of a radar-engineer friend of mine, I started slowly feeling as Last of the Mohicans out here. The oldtimers that tought this young horse (as we say here) are slowly gone. But this raises morale once more. You do a lot of interesting work here, and I'm ploughing through the site too! Keep it up!
And yes, I agree with your vision that it's better to keep this things operational, even if that means *some* loss of originality... It's also interesting to learn what were specific weaknesses and strengths of each design.

Thanks for the positive thoughts; I write this whilst in the middle of assembling video number 50 for this channel. Glad you're finding them enjoyable so far. Feel free to make any further comments ;-)
