I love how he went with a rock type beat for the "white boy" part. Society would call rock music white music. Then when he changes the perspective in the second part, he changed the beat to a more typical rap beat, or what we would call "black Music". Didn't realise that at first, but it was really cool
st. croix fredriksted reminds me of that one song where em said that he and Elvis Presley both stole black music to make money shit I forgot what song that was
I just found your channel... I'm an average white girl lol, but I am super into this album. I think your review is really legit. However, I really like how he switches the flow. Goes from to the beat to angry and fast and back again. Again, awesome review, I look forward to checking out more of your videos. You're smart and articulate which is rare on YT. 👍🏻
Isn’t it funny how Em was riding the beat when he was rapping as a black man but in the beginning when he was rapping as a white man he was COMPLETELY off beat lmaooooo
Jordan Kirkland I'm pretty sure he did this on purpose, I really think the first half of the song is a low key shot at Kid Rock, beings Kid has had his name come up recently in politics. The lyrics are abt cops, the beat I think is a shot at Kid, that's why it's so bad! Cuz Kid Rock sucks & I am ASHAMED to have ever listened to his Ridiculousness!
Nobody appreciates it. Eminem is not the all seeing eye that predicted all brutality. It’s a trash song. I don’t give a fuck about the content it’s a bad song! 😂 y’all Eminem meatriders are so annoying. It’s embarrassing being an Eminem fan sometimes
I think it's not about white guilt, in the first part of the song he talks from the cop perspective so he is telling us like, "White boy, White boy you're untouchable" as a cop so the discrimination from the cops to all the different races. Except from the line that he was embarressed to be a white boy there is no white guilt. I think this is a very masterful way to express these issues. Whether you agree or disagree. So I think it's not about white vs. black, its about cops vs blacks.

To your point after you listened to the song: I think people forget where Eminem grew up. A terrible part of BLACK Detroit. This would be different for me if it was Yelawolf, or Asher Roth, or Post Malone. But Eminem more than any white rapper knows what goes down the real deal hood.
Em didn't say that there should be black cops in the hood. He said "He Wonders".. So, he's just thinking from a black man's perspective if that's going to be helpful.
I enjoyed this track. I can understand why some people were put off by his flow at the end, but I honestly think it allows him to reach a wider set of emotions. With that being said, I still miss Eminem's 1999, or heck, even his 2010 Not Afraid or No love flow; it was a lot easier to bump to. Nowadays, listening to Em is a lot like listening to Classical music. You can tell that the music is good and that a lot of effort was put in, but that feeling of just going with the flow and the beauty of simplicity is not there. I know this doesn't really sound like a good point of criticism... but I think the problem with Eminem is that he sounds like he's trying too hard. Maybe hitting a blunt could actually help him with that a little.
Ain’t no one calling this song a masterpiece lol, anyone can say cops abusing their power is wrong in song format, everyone can agree with that, but that doesn’t mean the song is good
He isn't rapping as a white man but as a human. You don't have to be black to be sympathetic to plight of African Americans. Also advocating for Black people as a White man doesn't mean you are neglecting the problems of White people, all it means is that you think there are more important issues. Em grew up in a predominantly black area of Detroit so he has seen the plight of Black Americans first hand so he has a more heightened perspective than most White people who are removed from the situation.
*Chorus* You're a whiteboy whiteboy *Says he isn't rapping as a white man* lol, while I agree with you that wasn't the only point Em was trying to make.
Christal J I didn't say white people have problems. In his review he said that Em needed to worry about white people and all I said was he can do both. But I do agree with you lol
I agree with you that the concept and how he told the story was dope, but the way the first half sounds kills it for me. Not to mention his flow gets kinda awkward and a bit stop-and-start on the second half.
I'ma be honest, I didn't know he was talking in a black perspective on the second half, legit thought he was talking about him and black neighborhoods lmao. That shit went all over my head cause I perceive Eminem as a black person, not a white person.
You just eased my worried mind, haha. Your theory on why there is so many pop features makes so much sense, and I hope you are correct. Never ever though of it from that angle. Kudos my man. Have a warm, safe, and wonderful weekend!
No no no.... people need to listen and read in context. When he says “white boy” we all know what type of “white boy” he’s referring to. Idk y people run so far with terminology when speaking on race. I mean Ik why but we should think about context. Like obviously in my eyes when I hear “white boy” I don’t think he’s talking about all white boys because he himself a “white boy” doesn’t have most if not any of the privileges that he discusses in the song so to say “white boy” coming from him couldn’t possibly mean every white boy. Maybe it’s cuz I don’t think with a racist mentality I automatically fix the context n which people speak. When someone says you know “black people are... or white peoples are....” I assume that their talking about a specific type of black or white person.
Shawn I appreciate your time! Seriously you’re some sort of English PhD with the way you analyze things and with the ear you have! Glad I’m subscribed.
I really don't want a practically full album of politics. It's mostly because it will be 100% unnecessary. He's not going to say anything new that we haven't heard. I think that it would be much better if it would be personal album just speaking about his career through out the years. I guess this album just isn't for me or my demographic
illhelm Where in that comment did you see me saying I like trump? Or that I'm a white boy? Go fuck youself, moron. I don't like trump and I'm middle eastern
Ashton Abbott Because there is nothing more to say. He's gonna say shit but nothing I haven't heard before. At least not a full album worth of it. Maybe 2 songs with a couple lines that are new. I am going to give tell album a fair chance but I'm not going to make any excuses for it. This album should be good, great infact but the singles have not shown me anything. You can also go fuck yourself
You stated your opinion and you had valid points about the cops, but in the case of the white boy part he is coming from a place that us black folk can't understand. Em is 50 years old or close to it. He knows white privilege is real and things that he has done in his life he knows a black man would be treated differently.
against racial injustice? Did you not listen to the song? "It doesn't take a scientist to see that minorities fill up the ghettoes." he said something like that.. and yeah, it doesn't take a scientist ...
Your insight is really accurate. So many other reactions are all “we want the old eminem back” without even interperating the lyrics. You really listen to what his message is and i appreciate that. Good video man👍🏻
"Or be that into characters, just to see that, just to be black You better be strapped with a derringer Or be “capped in America” like Steve Rogers" bruh fire
Great review, couldn't of said it better myself. Your point about Joyner Lucas was exact. A better conversation was started and also more understanding than Em's song.
I like you're channel because you are not completely ignorant, stupid and it is easy to tell that you are an intelligent human being and I feel as if there are not enough of these type of people in the world, and for that I thank you. 🙏🏻
what do you mean by start and stop flow? I think the way that Eminem was rapping on this song was great! I hope he keeps this up on the album because I was resigned to the fact that Em was not gonna be talking about anything on his LP.
Shawn...I wanted to pop this off before the comments are flooded. I’m sorry for the long comment. I’ve been waiting for you to react to this cause I respect your view. I’ve heard and saw a bunch of negativity towards this song today. People are trying to compare it to JayZ due to their accomplishments and accolades. They’re saying this sucks. As a 40 year old white man that grew up on hip hop, I love this song. This song isn’t for black America. JayZ talks to black America. Many other artists talk to and for black America. Eminem talks for me. This song is for “woke” white guys to have a voice. The ones that hate racism and the injustices the black community face. This song is a middle finger to racist white people. Yes, he is speaking to a certain section of white boys. Not all though. He knows there’s plenty of us that feel the same. I speculate that’s what he’s banking on. He knows he’s not the only one. This is why I personally love this song. I like “woke” Eminem. Great Reaction once again. You’re going places. 👍
So far i haven't had a problem with what em has been rapping about, but i hope somewhere in the album he tries to unite everybody. Outdated systems of government are fucking us over more than any particular individuals. Everybody is disappointed in the U.S. government, both the left and right. America is feeling less and less "American". We are the United States. We all have different states of mind, but united we stand, divided we fall. Labeling each other "black/white", "democrat/republican", "racists" only solidifies the wedge between everyone. I think this track is great, if it is leading to something.. Eminem is my favorite rapper hands down, but honestly, I resonated with Joyner Lucas' "i'm not racist" a lot more.
I subscribed, nearly immediately as you got into your thoughts, I agree with you 100% of the way, you're intelligent, and rational, keep that good head on your shoulders man, it's like you took the words right out of my head lol.
people definitely would've paid attention if the Weeknd was on it. edit: in regards to earlier in the video when you gave your thoughts on the features.
Nobody likes good music anymore. I see all these comments here and it makes me so sad,it's funny the way rap that started as a means of standing up for something has now been watered by 'entertainment'. Walk on water was a heartfelt message but it was ridiculed, untouchable is like a lyrical expose,he presented violence in two perspectives, the perpetrators perspective and the receivers perspective yet it's being ridiculed. I feel so sad right now reading some comments because it makes me see how much music has changed over the years
I like you! You’re thoughtful and intelligent. One thing though-I don’t know that Em was trying to say all white ppl are racist. He was just rapping in the first verse from the perspective of a racist, white police officer.
I like the way you explain things. I didn't notice how the first verse was a whites man point of view in his eyes and the second was a black mans. I understand where eminem was trying to get at, but he did make whites sound racist kind of.
chad salman so basically the first half is a white cop in America not white people in general, the 2nd verse is obviously about black men who have to deal with the racism that lives in some of these cops. At least that's how I listened to the bars
Something important you missed, when em says And just in case a chase might ensue, we got that tried and true Pistol drew right at you, we'd be delighted to unload it In your back, then walk up and lay that taser on the side of you He is referencing the 2015 shooting of Walter Scott, where the officer in question was sentenced to 20 years for second degree murder after killing the fleeing unarmed victim, and then afterwards allegedly planting his taser beside him to frame him.
After hearing the song I also thought he was including those features for more people to notice the record and listen to the message because they were drawn from the big popstars
Gamer2478 heard it in the 8th grade and i really stoped 1/4 into ems verse, Tht beat really made me want to throw my laptop out the window I wasn't lying lol
This song is absolutely necessary. Black people didn’t end slavery alone. Black people didn’t end segregation alone. A lot of strong willed and hearted white people worked hard and equally sacrificed for us to be where we are today. We have a lot more work to do. But with folks like Em doing their part, we will see better days.
The album was leaked yesterday if ya didn’t know, I didn’t enjoy some songs (ed sheeran feature and the trump diss) but I’d like to hear your opinion on the album
You nailed it with "citizen vs government". What kills me is the people that want to fight police brutality but, on the other hand, they support positions that strengthen the government and make absolutely no sense.
dude please react to 5:55 by sylvan lacue!!!!! its so good and it dropped about a week ago. i wish more people knew about him so this comment would get upvoted
I like how he did the rock beat for the white boy. Maybe im thinking to into this but. I think he did that beat because he was talking about how white people steals culture. Rock and roll was created by black people and that fit well with his message.
I understand em is all lyricism and he has been since the beginning of his career but I want something to bump in my car like I can do with Stan or kill you or rap god they all have great lyricism this song isn’t bad but it isn’t something I can bump.
This guy is truly something, he is always wrong. But the fact that Eminem always is over his head is hilarious amma watch the reaction and laugh at his punk ass
I think it was a good project. My view was the first part....the rock-ish part was from the perspective of what i'd generalize as one of those cops that come from a different background.....like a person who has grown with with county/rock, conservative ideals, and up until now, has had little positive experiences with black culture, as his perspective was likely filtered through his own environment. The 2nd (middle part) with the backwards beat seemed to be his personal perspective. The third and last part was a black perspective and what seems to be a solution he's trying to push out....even if there is more nuance involved than was touched upon. I think he did a better job that you gve him credit for. The song had a vision and it was still lyrically awesome. That capped in american(captain american) like steve rogers line was dope
I love how he went with a rock type beat for the "white boy" part. Society would call rock music white music. Umm, do you have ears? He was perfectly on beat throughout the whole song.
I bet this guy appreciates this song more now
I hope so.
I bet he’s more mature than y’all and knows it’s still trash
@bison idk why tf you are here then if it's trash

LYRICS:
[Intro]
Hands up, officer don’t shoot
Then pull your pants up, promise you won't loot
We may never understand each other, it’s no use
We ain’t ever gonna grasp what each other goes through
[Verse 1]
Black boy, black boy, we ain't gonna lie to you
Black boy, black boy, we don't like the sight of you
Pull up on the side of you
Window rolled down, 'profile'
Then we wonder why we see this side of you
Probably comin' from the dope house
We could let you slide but your tail light is blew, out
We know you're hidin' that Heidi Klum
On you another drug charge, homie, it's back inside for you
And just in case a chase might ensue, we got that tried and true
Pistol drew right at you, we'd be delighted to unload it
In your back, then walk up and lay that taser on the side of you
Fucked up, but what the fuck am I to do?
I keep tellin' myself, keep doin' like you're doin'
No matter how many lives you ruin
It's for the red, white and blue
Time to go find a new one and split his head right in two
No one's ever indicted you
Why? 'Cause you're a...
[Chorus: Eminem & (Cheech and Chong)]
White boy, white boy, you're a rockstar
(My momma talkin' to me, tryna tell me how to live)
White boy, white boy, in your cop car
(But I don't listen to her, 'cause my head is like a sieve)
White boy, white boy, you're untouchable
(The world's coming to an end, I don't even care)
Nobody can tell me shit 'cause I'm a (big rockstar)
[Verse 2]
Black boy, black boy, we don't get your culture and
We don't care what our government's done to fuck you over, man
Don't tell us your attitude's a result of that
Balderdash, where’d you get the chip on your shoulder at?
Why you kicking that soda can?
Pull your pants up, we 'bout to roll up and
Throw your ass in the van cuffed
You don't have to know our plans or what our intentions are
Our cards are close to our chest, you better show your hands
And put our minds more at ease
Or get shot in the thyroid, comply or die, boy
We're fightin' a crime war, here come the swine
Tryna clean up the streets from all these minorities
That's what we call 'em pigsties for
They're like eyesores to police
Talk to you like just a piece of trash
Feels like we're stuck in a time warp to me
As I kick these facts and get these mixed reactions
As this beat backspins, it's like we're drifting back in
To the sixties, having black-skin is risky
'Cause this keeps happening
Throughout history, African-Americans have been treated like shit
And I admit, there have been times where it's been embarrassin' to be a...
[Chorus: Eminem & (Cheech and Chong)]
White boy, white boy, you're a rockstar
(My momma talkin' to me, tryna tell me how to live)
White boy, white boy, in your cop car
(But I don't listen to her, 'cause my head is like a sieve)
White boy, white boy, you're untouchable
(The world's coming to an end, I don't even care)
Nobody can tell me shit 'cause I'm a (big rockstar)
Pt. II
[Verse 3]
Seems like the average lifespan of a white man
Is more than twice than a black life span
I wonder sometimes if it has a price scanner
I feel like checking out on life, can't escape this circumstance
I'd rather hear 'em say "Die N-word" than Die Antwoord
Ninja, now it's better disguised banter
But that's life, strapped 'cause we're strapped financially
And can't find answers
We're applying, but McDonald's
Seems to be the only franchise that'll hire
So how can we have higher standards?
As Dallas overshadows the battle for Black Lives Matter
We fight back with violence but acts like that are
Black eyes on the movement
Which makes black lives madder
At cops and cops madder
That's why it's at a stalemate
Can't arrive at a compromise so it's Black Ops
I wonder if we hire more black cops, the crap stops
The block is our backyards, officers, not the crack spot
Call the attack dogs off of us, man
You always act all pissed off at us at a traffic stop
And bad cops fuck it up for the good cops, and man, stop
Sendin' white cops in the black neighborhoods
Who ain't acclimated to 'em, like that's the way to do it
Who seen some fuckin' videos of rappers waving guns
And know nobody black so they act afraid of us
And that's racism, the fear that a black face gives 'em
A subconscious racist
Wait, why are there black neighborhoods?
'Cause America segregated us, designated us to an area
Separated us, Section-Eight'd us
When we tear it up’s the only time attention’s paid to us
And education sucks, and every day's another
Freddie Gray for us, a levy breaks or fuzz
Why is it they treat us like dryer lint?
We just want a safe environment for our kids
But can’t escape the sirens
Don’t take a scientist to see our violent nature lies in
The poverty that we face so the crime rate’s the highest in
The lowest classes, it's like a razor wire fence
And we’re trapped in these racial biases
That plague our society which makes our anxiety levels raise
Every time we see a devil’s face
Lions, tigers, and bears, oh my
It's more like billy clubs and gats
And we really love it when you think we’re guilty ‘cause we’re black
"But you kill each other, facts
You peel each other's caps, for silly stuff like hats”
Single mother strugglin’ through substance abuse
While people with nothin' to lose shoot each other for shoes
Fuck your Republican views
Pull ourselves up by our bootstraps, where the fuck are the boots?
And streets act as a narrator, don't gotta read comics
Or be that into characters, just to see that, just to be black
You better be strapped with a derringer
Or be “capped in America” like Steve Rogers
'Cause no one oversees these cops and
All we see is 'em beat charges
We done seen 'em beat Rodney King unconscious, and got off
So we don't need all you crooked police officers' peace offerings
Just keep marchin', 'til we reach congress
But they're gonna say you're tryin' to take an irrational stance
If you try to slander the flag but
Somebody has to be the sacrificial lamb
So they call it a Kaepernick tantrum
If you don't stand for the national anthem
We raise it, you better praise it
Or you'll be made to feel like a traitor, we'll
Treat you like Rodney Dangerfield
Home of the brave is still racist 'ville
So this whole nation feels like a plantation field
In a country that claims that its foundation was based on United States ideals
That had its Natives killed
Got you singin' this star-spangled spiel
To a piece of cloth that represents the "Land of the Free" that made people slaves to build

Facts
I dont like how it sounds but I like the message. I think thats how I will feel about the album.
Mario Tunon spot on
I really liked it, especially the third verse when the beat switches up
To your point after you listened to the song: I think people forget where Eminem grew up.
@kutie k the backspins part is his own perspective.
Shawn cee the type of nigga to ask his parents for help to put the straw in his Capri Sun.
Chill this aint dj akademiks
Emmanuel chill this is the internet, Issa joke.
Maybe hitting a blunt could actually help him with that a little.
man i really loved your way of thinking, I'm as an Eminem fan didn't even think of stuff that way, so you got you a subscribe sir, amazing
I appreciate you man!
Nice comment
Eminem could drop illmatic and people would say its trash
Kevin Hill Why would he do that though? I get what you're tryna say but it fell flat.
Kevin Hill this is honestly so fuckin true people hate on everything he does now because it’s different then before
With his voice, it would be. 😂
that is the dumbest shit I’ve ever heard😂😂😂😂
2017 “Em doesn’t have content”
2020 “Untouchable is a masterpiece”
*Chorus*
You're a whiteboy whiteboy
*Says he isn't rapping as a white man* lol, while I agree with you that wasn't the only point Em was trying to make.
Charles Hendrix “neglecting the problems of White people”
What problems? 😂
Em wasn't talking about himself. The only time he mention himself was when he was saying that he was ashamed of what white people do.
Christal J I didn't say white people have problems. In his review he said that Em needed to worry about white people and all I said was he can do both.
But I do agree with you lol
love this comment
This song was one hell of a roller coaster ride
I agree with you that the concept and how he told the story was dope, but the way the first half sounds kills it for me. Not to mention his flow gets kinda awkward and a bit stop-and-start on the second half.
CDTVProductions I think it makes it better tbh, but to each his own
you've probably listened to it once then
Inamorta Dabo I've listened to it multiple times despite not liking it that much.
CDTVProductions read it with lyrics the same time ,you'll appreciate it more
Saurav Parmar I have
while i do disagree with your politics at times i do like how you try and stay as balanced as you can
I'ma be honest, I didn't know he was talking in a black perspective on the second half, legit thought he was talking about him and black neighborhoods lmao. That shit went all over my head cause I perceive Eminem as a black person, not a white person.
Eminem had it harder growing up than most of the current rappers, so he’s pretty much as authentic as it can get when it comes to those topics
Thats a very white thing to say lmfao
@@VYLEMUSIC my guy this was two years ago, the original owner of this account died like 8 months ago
@@mixltv143 ok?
Sir, you have just earned a subscriber. I love the way you review and talk about songs
You just eased my worried mind, haha. Your theory on why there is so many pop features makes so much sense, and I hope you are correct. Never ever though of it from that angle. Kudos my man. Have a warm, safe, and wonderful weekend!
He got a song with Ed Sheeran!! That's the weirdest collab ever, I actually want to hear it lmao
Lol
Lol! 3 albums later in 2020, we have 4 songs with Ed
@@skeletonskelly5075 What's the 4th one? I only know of River, Remember The Name & Those Kinda Nights.
Robert Kirby
I meant 3 lol.
Water is NOT WET!!!
Meek Mill yup
Agreed
Meek MiLL oh
I guess this album just isn't for me or my demographic
emperor of the felines whiteboiwhiteboi why you so privileged, trump Bad dude yo
how can you say what hes gunna say when he aint said it
Its like you convinced yourself the album is bad before you actually heard it.
illhelm
Where in that comment did you see me saying I like trump? Or that I'm a white boy? Go fuck youself, moron. I don't like trump and I'm middle eastern
Ashton Abbott
Because there is nothing more to say.
He knows white privilege is real and things that he has done in his life he knows a black man would be treated differently.
kingdomson1500 shit doesn't exist kid!!
The feature list for this album is scary, but so far we're two tracks in and to me he's batting 1000
Shawn Cee and BlackySpeakz are the best channels to analyze songs and critique figures in the hip hop community. Keep it up.
W
blacky speakz is weak
Idk if that lions, Tigers, bears oh my line is anything significant but it reminds me of part of Kendrick’s verse in Jay Rock’s “Hood gon Love it”
Yea thats right lol, but its a quote from "Wizard of Oz"
Benjamin Kukkola see I never messed with the wizard of oz like that. Thanks for letting me know tho.
This album is his own protest. It's cool. It's not just an album and or his disappointment in the country. It's a protest.
against racial injustice? Did you not listen to the song? "It doesn't take a scientist to see that minorities fill up the ghettoes." he said something like that.. and yeah, it doesn't take a scientist ...
Your insight is really accurate. So many other reactions are all “we want the old eminem back” without even interperating the lyrics. You really listen to what his message is and i appreciate that. Good video man👍🏻
"Or be that into characters, just to see that, just to be black
You better be strapped with a derringer
Or be “capped in America” like Steve Rogers" bruh fire
This song would've been so much well received if it was released today
It’s 3 years later. No it fucking would not 😂 it’s not about the content it’s about the music itself. It’s NOT GOOD
Aww, you skipped the 'Or be “capped in America” like Steve Rogers' line :(
Great review, couldn't of said it better myself. Your point about Joyner Lucas was exact. A better conversation was started and also more understanding than Em's song.
this song gave me faith in the album again
:(
:(
Why does this track sound more like a pre-written freestyle instead of a studio recording
Fuzzy Chameleon were we listening to the same thing lol
I like you're channel because you are not completely ignorant, stupid and it is easy to tell that you are an intelligent human being and I feel as if there are not enough of these type of people in the world, and for that I thank you. 🙏🏻
Not u shawn cee your vids are....
I dunno it always seems to raise my IQ LEVEL up😕
Ski mask said his project gunna b dropping in a few days, ill be waiting on that reaction
what do you mean by start and stop flow? I think the way that Eminem was rapping on this song was great! I hope he keeps this up on the album because I was resigned to the fact that Em was not gonna be talking about anything on his LP.
I had no idea you were a Michigander! Really cool to know we're from the same place.
Why did em not release this first if he performed this instead and then just dropped walk on water id been hyped for this album from the jump
I really appreciate your response as well
MyWORDisntGospel appreciate u fam respect ✊
y2k firre respect and love brother. Change is here.
the line about steve rogers not being capped in america was fire
Eminem is more of a Lyricist not a rapper , accept it. More of this to come next week 🙌🏼
Can you review Quality Control's album?
You’re really intelligent Shawn! I’m glad that your on this website.
Being waiting for this video all day long -I'm in the other side of the world lol- .. dope as usual broo ✊🙏💪
Hey my man, this is the first time I checked you out and I gotta give you some props. You are a young intelligent man. Keep doing your thing!
people definitely would've paid attention if the Weeknd was on it.
edit: in regards to earlier in the video when you gave your thoughts on the features.
Bru you needa react to k.a.a.n. - rap god remix ,! And check out his abstract art ep ! Infinity bars!! ,
That remix sucked though honestly
Joseph Modglin you suck honestly
He killed em
Luis Rivera k.a.a.n really killed that remix for sure. But lets talk about this song. This song is fire!
It's all good till you get to that hook
Incredible view. I’ve been perturbed by this song for a while and I think you have a great opinion of it.
I wouldn't say it was "whites", just racists.
chad salman its THE white cops hes patraying how it is towards black people and there environment
Something important you missed, when em says
And just in case a chase might ensue, we got that tried and true
Pistol drew right at you, we'd be delighted to unload it
In your back, then walk up and lay that taser on the side of you
He is referencing the 2015 shooting of Walter Scott, where the officer in question was sentenced to 20 years for second degree murder after killing the fleeing unarmed victim, and then afterwards allegedly planting his taser beside him to frame him.
Oh shit I ain't know you were from Michigan. That's whats up I'm from Detroit but live in Florida
Thank you for your reaction, review /thoughts and perspective!
After hearing the song I also thought he was including those features for more people to notice the record and listen to the message because they were drawn from the big popstars
Great video dude .. loved the analysis
Hook sound like a hot wheels commercial
Impressive that you got the context... I think people where thrown off by the rock sample.
I'm curious though to see how it fits on the album.
A bit confuse by how he handle the topic, but thought the song itself sounded dope
Thank you for your insight, FlasKamel
Dude you have the best reviews. Keep doing the good work
"Put a Bruno mars feat-"
NAH DO YOU KNOW THE ATORCITY THAT WAS LIGHTERS SHAWN, THT SHIT SONG MADE ME WANT TO THROW MY LAPTOP OUT THE WINDOW FUCK THAT
fred rodriguez Yo i fucking loved lighters, heard it when I was a lot younger tho
Gamer2478 heard it in the 8th grade and i really stoped 1/4 into ems verse, Tht beat really made me want to throw my laptop out the window I wasn't lying lol
Gamer2478 dude same lighters was my shit in like early middle school lmao
Did you just say *Lighters* was a shitty song? Eminem has like his best verse on that song it was fucking awesome
Revizer I can't judge his verse cause I refuse to listen to tht horrible beat
Are u going to make a video on quality controls album
This song is absolutely necessary. Black people didn’t end slavery alone. Black people didn’t end segregation alone. A lot of strong willed and hearted white people worked hard and equally sacrificed for us to be where we are today. We have a lot more work to do. But with folks like Em doing their part, we will see better days.
He killed it
I had a weird feeling you were from Michigan. Respect. (Detroit vs Everybody)
The album was leaked yesterday if ya didn’t know, I didn’t enjoy some songs (ed sheeran feature and the trump diss) but I’d like to hear your opinion on the album
Eminem has a room in his mansion where all of his platinum albums are FRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMED
Would you ever review King Krule's The OOZ? I feel like you might dig it.
U missed out on Dark Knight Dummo - Trippie Redd ft. Travis Scott
Should react to 88GLAM.
You nailed it with "citizen vs government". What kills me is the people that want to fight police brutality but, on the other hand, they support positions that strengthen the government and make absolutely no sense.
Love this analysis of this song
dude please react to 5:55 by sylvan lacue!!!!! its so good and it dropped about a week ago. i wish more people knew about him so this comment would get upvoted
Wait, you're from Michigan too? Neat. Don't know how I never heard that before.
Mr. Miecley did u think he lived in your neighborhood?
I like how he did the rock beat for the white boy. Maybe im thinking to into this but. I think he did that beat because he was talking about how white people steals culture. Rock and roll was created by black people and that fit well with his message.
Andria Symone you realize the guitar and sample is a Cheech and Chong song, right?
James Edwards lmao cheers to you, you intelligent being.
Is Shawn gonna react/review UK rap (grime)?
i dont care if the album is good or not, im just so happy that eminem is still in the game and releasing albums still
I understand em is all lyricism and he has been since the beginning of his career but I want something to bump in my car like I can do with Stan or kill you or rap god they all have great lyricism this song isn’t bad but it isn’t something I can bump.
I’m sure there’s gonna be a few songs in his album you can bump too
XiiLe I feel like if you can bump Stan you’ll have no problem finding a song on the album to bump
Notification Squad🔥❤
This guy is truly something, he is always wrong. But the fact that Eminem always is over his head is hilarious amma watch the reaction and laugh at his punk ass
Can you react to either The Minstrel Show by Little Brother or Fantastic Volume 2 by Slum Village? Both are classics and amazing listens!
Eminem= Truth, keep it 💯
He actually was saying he doesn’t think cops who aren’t accustomed to the neighborhood shouldn’t be put into those neighborhoods
You from Michigan Shawn!? Where about?
React to 88glam, cjay, and mir fontane.
i can't believe you missed the die antwoord diss!
