    Fun lore fact, gnomes invented submarines 21 years prior to the beginning of Vanilla. The dwarfs and gnomes should have easy acces to sunken treasure, since they were chilling during the events of the third war especially after the loss of Khaz Modan

      I mean, a lot of stuff that happend in Warcraft 2 is never mentioned again in either Warcraft 3 nor World Of Warcraft. Quite weird right. Mages used to be able to cast Lightning Bolt and Chain Lightning for example @@Jediwarlock

    Have you seen the suspicious "void" elf with a dagger and some secrets at the end of the Void Touched epic gear. Like Blizz is adding even new lore into SoD.

    • @tainicon4639
      @tainicon4639 9 месяцев назад +3

      I think they are the just adding in the new “void” lore. In vanilla the void was just called shadow.

    • @Jediwarlock
      @Jediwarlock  9 месяцев назад +1

      I have seen a few things about that. Not sure how I feel about it yet, but if they're connecting BFD more into the Old Gods/Void then it may be a sign they'll add more stuff in this "new timeline" down the road. :)

    WELP; if you read it correctly, the Explorer's League misidentified which city the ancient astrolabe came from. Since as we learned in Legion, Suramar wasnt sunken it was locked behind it's magical dome. Maybe it was Zin-azshari, or those ruins in Vashj'r.

    • @killerbee.13
      @killerbee.13 9 месяцев назад +9

      Only the central parts of Suramar were protected, much of the city was outside of the dome, so the astrolabe could have still come from there. The broken isles, or at least the broken shore, which was a part of ancient Suramar that sank and was magically raised, had already been visited a few times before Legion. Zin-Azshari aka Nazjatar seems unlikely as it's mostly below the maelstrom and the current capital of the Naga.

    • @nakenmil
      @nakenmil 9 месяцев назад +5

      @@killerbee.13 Not to mention the weird headache of Maiev and Malfurion literally battling through Suramar during Warcraft 3, lol.

      @@nakenmilthey explained that that was the Broken Shore, risen by Gul'dan in WC2

    • @nakenmil
      @nakenmil 9 месяцев назад +2

      @@brunopereira6789 I know, but it's still a piss-poor explanation, since we also have Maiev completely ignoring the huge contingent of Wardens that apparently have always existed in nearby Aszune, or Malfurion completely ignoring the super-special awesome community of ultra-druids that existed in nearby Val'sharah.
      I like Legion, but the worldbuilding was honestly baffling.

    • @brunopereira6789
      @brunopereira6789 9 месяцев назад +1

      @@nakenmil it is a retcon, yes, and one I dislike, but it doesn't break anything. There's no reason those Wardens couldn't have been part of the same main Watcher institution, and there's no reason Malfurion couldn't have already been in contact with the Dreamgrove.
      In fact, I headcanon that the runner sent by Maiev sails to the Dreamgrove, and from there takes the Dream Portal to Hyjal.

    It's wild how many times I walked by that place or even through it to get to the heirloom vendor but didn't realize you could read the plaques. I especially didn't know you could add an exhibit yourself! It reminds me of how I only recently noticed the "ancient stones" scattered throughout the dragon isles all have interact dialogue now that explores the history of the area.

    How long have you been playing Jedi?!
    Im in my 30's and have been playing since the 7th grade!
    My buddy told me about it, but nobody wanted to play it because this and runescape werent cool, and girls thought it was dumb, so it was ultimately hated
    So his disk was missing to install on our computer, and i found another guy who let me use his disk, but i shared an acc with the original guy.
    we had no dedicated GPU in the family computer and it was a SINGLE CORE!!!
    Darkshore was aprox 3-10 fps!
    Absolutely love the videos and are so deserving of a like. I remember watching your swim videos a while back and really enjoyed them a lot!

    if they'll ever put hands on Archaeology (and as cynical as I can be I still hope it) to improve it, I'd really love it if they used the Ironforge Museum (and maybe some similar place in Silvermoon for the Horde, I dunno...) to display some rare findings, like you did in WoD garrison. But without phasing: only when someone would complete one of those displayable findings server-first, it would give them an achievement and appear for everyone in the server, with the description plate mentioning their name xD
    (maybe after that the plate could mention everyone who found that relic, but keeping the server-first guy on the top)

    • @Jediwarlock
      @Jediwarlock  9 месяцев назад

      That would be such a fun addition! It would honestly fit in well with Season of Discovery too and provide a bit more of a community aspect to the capital cities. Maybe something similar with "rare" books in the Stormwind Library or magical artifacts for Darnassus? :)
