Delve into profound insights on the biblical practice of Tithing by grabbing your complimentary copy of "God's People Tithe!" at bit.ly/3SmQ4AH. Curious about the free offering? It aligns with our commitment to abide by Jesus' command to 'freely give' (Matthew 10:8).

@@catholic4sure976 tithing was for the Jewish people to help the Levi priest because they had no land.
Tithing today is man made because they use old testament to manipulate people into giving 10% of thier earnings. And if we don't we are under a curse. We are to give out of love for God not out of fear.
In the new testament Jesus Christ said give what is determining in your heart. Never once did he mention about 10%.
This is wrong because people who tithe are taking away our rights and making us look bad because we don't give ten percent like them.
I will never tithe, never. Do i give to the church 100% and i like to give generously.

Weve been christians for 45 yrs. We began tithing as soon as we became christians. Not just tithes, but offerings as well. We were barely getting by. But we gave the tithes first as soon as the paycheck came in. We slowly began to prosper. Today we have a nice home, and we are totally debt free. We have been debt free over 20 yrs. I can truly testify of Gods blessings and miraculous interventions. God keeps His promises. I enjoy giving to others!

Tithing is not biblical today. Nowhere in the old and new testament dos it say the church needs to tithe.
Tithing was for Levi priest because they no land and the 12 tribes helped by giving them shelter food clothing and cattle.
Another thing there was money back in those day's so why wasn't 10% mentioned back then. I belive in offerings, but definitely not tithing.
Christians are not under law. You give what's in your heart to give. Read 2 Corinthians 9 : 6 - 7, says: Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will reap generously. Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. Tithes means 10%. If you wanted to give 5%, 10%, it's OK. Whatever you want to give in your heart.
Jews are under law. Read Malachi 3 : 8 - 10, says: “ Will a mere mortal rob God? Yet you rob me. “ But you ask, ‘ How are we robbing you?’ “ In tithes and offerings. You are under a curse ---- your whole nation ----- because you are robbing me. Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this, “ says the LORD Almighty, “ and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store.

Church law encourages tithing. It's always free will offerings. If you were the true
Church you'd trust God to supply your needs not forcing people to give a tenth. Read
it in your Bible from the time the N.T. Church was formed. NOT ONCE IS TITHING
MENTIONED as a means of support.

  • @hladawh
    @hladawh 8 месяцев назад +1

As believers in Christ, we must understand that not only a tithe of our income belong to God, but also all of what we have belong to God. Everything we may have in our hand, all belong to God.
But tithing in the church age is not obeying of the OT law of tithing, I don't mean to say don't tithe. Jesus has fulfilled it and. it's impossible to perform as of today. If one has to tithe according to the bible, one has to bring the tithe to the priest in the temple in Jerusalem -the house of God, and put it in the storehouse of the temple. Which will be true tithing. But no one can do that. There is no temple in Jerusalem anymore. That is one reason Jesus never command to tithing in his teaching for worldly blessing. Jesus did not destroy tithing but fulfilled it in such a way that you cannot perform it. But if it's one heart desire to bring 10% of one income to the church, it's should be okay. But remember it's not obeying tithing law. if one is trying to perform tithing, one should also consider observing the Sabbath, Passover, Feast of Trumpet, Atonement and many more, and also to show up in Jerusalem 3 time a year. Otherwise one will still be a law breaker.
As believers in Christ, we all should give as the Lord has commanded us, it could be 1% or 10% or 90% or 100%. Giving as your heart desires is what the Lord want us to do. The true blessing in the new covenant is to seek the Kingdom first, then the Lord said everything else shall be added to you. And when you find the kingdom, you will realize that not just 10 % but all of what you have is the King's. Not just your money, your tithe, but also your heart, your desire, your thought, your love, your children, your talent and everything you have. Because a true King Possesses everything in the kingdom and he gives it to his faithful friends, servants, or relative t use it and to manage it.
    Matthew 13:44 - nkjv
    44. “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and hid; and for joy over it he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field. The guy sold not 10% or half of what he has, but all of it.
When you are in the Kingdom, you will never be able to say, " i bring tithe to the church". it will be " Im just the Lord Servant".

I am afraid, tithe does not apply to NT Christians. Tithe was part of the Mosaic law of feasts and ordinances which were pointing to Jesus' death but ceased at His death on the cross when the veil between the holy and most holy place was rent from top to bottom signifying the end of the Levitical priesthood and laws of feasts and sacrifices. Please note, that neither Jesus' nor His disciples, nor later the apostles paid any tithe. They established new churches, but nowhere do we find that they have at least once instructed them to pay tithe except freewill offering.

Actually seeing the temple being gone the Eternal High Priest King taught to sale all you have and give to the poor and follow Him - Matthew 19: 21,22; John 12: 4-8; Acts 2: 41-(45)-47; 4: 32-(34,35)-37; tithing was taught at early Christian church councils, the Council of Tours in 567, as well as the Third Council of Macon in 585. So scripturally the Son of the living GOD taught His disciples how to love and care for one another and how to grow the Church because He fore saw what was coming upon the Temple of the Lord which the Lord forsaken - Matthew 24: 1,2 and after the Eternal High Priest King ascended up into heaven His ( New Covenant ) people seeing He wasn't from the tribe of Levi - Numbers 18: 21 had to care for one another as shown in the book of Acts.
So as the Church under went persecution from the Levitical priesthood and the ruling government of Rome, the Church of the living GOD took care of themselves as the Lord taught them.

Sir, Jesus was talking to Jews only when he talked about an abundant life (financially) Jesus himself said "I have come for the lost sheep of Israel " He DID NOT say the lost sheep of the world, that is why he never left the land of Israel. Secondly what you are advocating is following a JEWISH law. OUR Apostle Paul says we are to have no part in it. Just as importantly is that the law was NEVER given to gentiles but to JEWS only. Why do you wish to inflict laws on people who are free from it ?

I knew many who were tithe paying in the deeply split Armstrong movement, who were far from blessed.
The arguments for tithing are far outweighed by those to the contrary.
That the Armstrong movement is so fractured and often openly hostile to their fellow groups shows that the tithing argument for starters is simply nonsense. This movement is declining, unblessed, dying, practicing a ‘form’ of Christianity that is more often than not, the complete opposite to what is written within scripture. That is the ‘Plain Truth’.

Tithing is not a New Covenant Law. If it were then Paul would have been as wealthy as Kenneth Copeland.

@@papoutnoel6988 I totally agree with Matthew 4:4. You can relax. Do you have time for Indepth study?
I will answer this one in one sentence: Since burnt offerings were a form of worshiping God, and since we still worship God, must we still offer burnt offerings to God? ... Ridiculous. If you don't burn animal sacrifices are you living by EVERY WORD?

I understand the idea is to avoid being misconstrued as shilling. Anyone interested in knowing more should now consult the Scriptures.
