Drones for fishing is cheating
That's like saying trolling or deep sea fishing is cheating as well. Trying to get to deeper water is all that drones allow.
Why would it be cheating?
drones are a bit is a "cheat" in the sense that it is not a pure way of catching a fish. rod and reel and elbow grease is the essense of fishing. trolling, jigging and all other ways are still rod and reel only. weird that it is allowed in SA but not fish traps for mullet. and the fact you need a special license to use a cast net.
looiplooi.. U still have to fight the fish still effort and experience.. All the Drones do it get the bait deeper out there.
The drone only takes the line out not fight and bring the fish in. If taking lines out deeper with a device like a drone then other facets of fishing is cheating too. I see no problem with it.
