Of all the musical responses and parodies of Colleen's ukulele atrocity, this is hands down the best one.
This is so impressive and accurate. Even the dance at the end feeding into how she is making this entire situation about herself - the loss of her career and how she is the victim - rather focusing on those *true* victims who came forward with legitimate concerns that weren’t addressed. Beautifully done and genius
The dance is also a reference to another “apology” from some girl who assaulted her friend when he was unconscious
The final clown transformation at the end puts me in the mind of another clown alter ego who created a character that would draw kids.

This somehow feels like what Jack Black would do if he were to address this situation. And, as a dance and theatre instructor, I have to say that the interpretive dance was incredible. The Creep music being used was amazing. And then the subtle swiping of the lipstick seeming to imply that the deranged woman in question is clearly a Joke was just the sweet, sweet maraschino cherry on top. I’m absolutely going to share this with my students. Too good.

This is the best thing I have watched this week. The amount of effort, but also straight up genius put into this piece is amazing. it wouldn't have been hard to parody the gossip trainwreck colleen brought upon herself, but this is just...ART. the song is not only well researched, both regarding the situation itself as well as phrases groomers frequently use, but is better in terms of the performance, the lyrical crafting, the construction, and the complexity. the video could've ended there, but then the *ending.* it was funny, but it was also cinematographically beautiful. the dance was oddly beautiful, the music amazing. it was transcendent.
