@@maverickcruise You're right. But it was the same story with fully electric cars too. The car is meant to be unupgradeable and replaced every few years which hurts the environment a lot. And producing energy for those cars costs a lot as well. Nuclear or fossil fuel power is used. Sustainable forms of energy production are unstable and inefficient. Roads still need to be built which uses oil. It's all massive bullshit made just to profit off stupid people.

This is amazing, but a lot of people, who are mad about things based on electricity forget, where it comes from. Most of the power stations work using heat - it comes from coal and oil. Each of them produce a lot of CO2, which is bad for environment. If all of petroleum cars will be replaced with electo-cars, problem won't be solved. Petroleum usage will become even more, than now. What is matter with our planet if we do not have a gas for gas vehicle or gas will become to exhausted so we will need to do it by transform to the electric vehicle

I assume that your second point refers to Tata'a initiative to make their old models into EVs. It's a great step but only time will tell if they would actually succeed in this change. After all changing the mindset to buying electric cars requires confidence especially in a country with developing charging infrastructure and scarce green electricity production.

Electric cars aren't much better than regular cars. Of course, they have less pollution while driving them, but think about how the materials for it are made? There is the battery for example, which is extremely dangerous if you throw it away, which you will need to at some point, and they are made out of non-renewing materials. The cleanest cars will actually be powered my biofuel. Porsche an a lot of other companies are developing a carbon-neutral artificial gasoline that’s created by extracting CO2 from the atmosphere. This will be cleaner than EVs because most electric cars will be powered by fossil fuel generators. Also, replacing every car in the world with an electric one in the next 30 years is impossible.

People who know what a Tesla is: "Ever heard of Tesla my guy?"
First of all two points
1. Maximum Electricity produced from coal burning so nothing can be of zero emission it can be part of.
2. Here in India we have affordable cars that is EV too nd it is also locally made and owned in affordable cost.....
Bro instead of taking electricity made from coal we can put solar panels near to that charging station so no pollution!
I assume that your second point refers to Tata'a initiative to make their old models into EVs. It's a great step but only time will tell if they would actually succeed in this change. After all changing the mindset to buying electric cars requires confidence especially in a country with developing charging infrastructure and scarce green electricity production.

These look amazing! One, they're safer for the environment, and two, (in my opinion), they seem so much cooler as well👍🏼
Electric cars aren't much better than regular cars. Of course, they have less pollution while driving them, but think about how the materials for it are made? There is the battery for example, which is extremely dangerous if you throw it away, which you will need to at some point, and they are made out of non-renewing materials.
And then there is the electricity, that is running the car. It's more than likely to come out of a Coal Power Plant or anything like that.
But I need to admit, these cars look beautiful.
@@ggabor2489 You do make a really good point there.. Those are definitely some factors we'd have to consider
I guess I didn't really think about it like that, so thanks for the info!
@@ggabor2489 but if u calculate the pollution the Material use to make Electric car + the non renewable battery, its actually still better than the Material + and the emission the non electric car make, i could give u a scientific explaination right now but eh im tired
@@twist7374 Not on my watch,
You ignore the point that most of the electricity generated from burning the fossil fuels. If you calculate The amount of material to make an EV, non-renewable battery and electricity generated. Sure, it's enviroment friendly than a petrol car, but still it already proven my point that EV isn't enviroment friendly.

0:58 even if the car it’s self does not release pollution, most electricity (right now) comes from non sustainable electricity. So currently, electric cars are not that much better for the environment.
tru but electric cars are necessary since in 15-30 yrs we wont have petrol(aka no planes ;-;)

broo electric cars do more harm than combustion cars in the long run
i was raging while watching the vid only for the wrong informations
The cleanest cars will actually be powered my biofuel. Porsche an a lot of other companies are developing a carbon-neutral artificial gasoline that’s created by extracting CO2 from the atmosphere. This will be cleaner than EVs because most electric cars will be powered by fossil fuel generators. Also, replacing every car in the world with an electric one in the next 30 years is impossible.
True
Yes, biofuels are just natural carbs so there is absolutely no pollution and the fuel is clean 100%. There is something even better, Hydrogen powered cars!
@@fanaticofmetalYes!!!
@@fanaticofmetal the biggest disadvantage with alternative fuels is that you have to make new cars to use them. Biofuel gas will be compatible with any regular combustion engine.
