    Saying that electric cars are without pollution is uncorrect. Its proven that the production of them makes 70% more pollution than producing normal gasoline car. I think i understand the message you are trying to tell by this video, but i personally think its too late to stop. I agree with the strict emissions, so no more old diesel cars will be stink in front of my house, but not every gasoline car is like those.For example Porsche is making super clean gasoline engines and their production doesnt make that much pollution as production of electric cars. In my opinion we should focus more on removing the CO2 from atmosphere, there is a crazy project on iceland, where they are trying to turn CO2 into rocks by using high pressure and chemical reactions. I would really be glad to watch video about it especially from You, because you will be able to share the idea to more people.

    • @TomekHar
      @TomekHar 2 года назад +19

      Producing elecric cars costs the environment a lot in the first place. Batteries are disposed of cheaply and harmfully for the environment. The car is meant to be unupgradeable and replaced every few years which hurts the environment a lot. And producing energy for those cars costs a lot as well. Nuclear or fossil fuel power is used. Sustainable forms of energy production are unstable and inefficient. Roads still need to be built which uses oil.

    Also, I do think that because of this, car license would actually be easier to get if you're wanting to buy a Vinfast car. Because of how simply it looks like to control (I might be wrong but hey, that's my opinion since I've never drive a car.) since there is like just 10 buttons, all other button will be on the touchscreen, the speedometer and the other thing is displayed through the window so your eyes can't be taken off the road. This is perfect, definitely the future of cars.

Each of them produce a lot of CO2, which is bad for environment. If all of petroleum cars will be replaced with electo-cars, problem won't be solved. Petroleum usage will become even more, than now. You look like a gentlemam, but your words don't. EVs are efficient even if the electricity tbey get is from coal, because ICEs mainly produce heat then sound then power. While EVs produce Power then heat then sound. So driving your EV using coal based power is still way more efficient. and did you know that most power grids now work on solar, wind and dams? Coal is gone anyways so why have Diesel now?

  • @aneesh95

    Electric cars not as good as you think...
    Let me explain :
    Electric cars themselves might not produce any CO2 while driving, but their assembly cost (they still require a factory for mass production) does involve CO2, Not to mention, these cars have lithium battery, and while mining it, you produce CO2.....
    Wt about charging?? the biggest problem with electric vehicles is that they take ages to charge, no matter how fast it gets, it will always be slower than a ICE car.
    Speaking of which, Thor isn't gonna produce electricity for the charging stations is he??
    you would again need a power station for that. Charging stations would either run on Hydro power or Petrolium/coal. Hydelpower is really expensive and extremely limited by the "proper location" aspect. so only other option is coal/petrolium....
    And not to mention this will increase a country's electricity requirement and right now only developed countries are able to meet the demand, so what about all the other countries who can't produce electricity for their own needs?? if they cant, this will cause a lot of power related issues for an entire country
    End: I'm no expert, but whatever i said here is something that i did research about. Not to mention electric vehicles have many more issues/problems and there is a LOT of other stuff that I didn't even mention. So make of this that you will.. for now they seem like a good alternative, but haven't even come close to talk about the MAIN issues we would face, There are better alternatives than ICE cars(like in many cases, electric), but there is just *NO* 100% ecofriendly option, we just have to get over it...
    (PS : I'm not saying electric cars are bad, and neither that ICE cars are the only way, I', just saying that to actually have an all electric future we need to solve all problems instead of just saying "Electric is the future" or "Its better than ICE cars anyway" Cuz if thats not done, we might end up doing more harm than good for ourselves)
    Thank you for reading. 😃

      For charging electric vehicles, one can always use renewable sources and just like solar, the prices of other renewable sources will also decrease.Secondly, about the batteries, lithium is mined in inhabitable places and they can be recycled into new batteries aswell. But no doubt, it has some effect if renewable sources are not used, but EVs currently are the best option.

    • @aneesh95
      @aneesh95 2 года назад +2

      @@SanskarTOP_G Using solar panels is just impossible. Yes they provide you with pretty much infinite energy as long as you can afford it, but it is very ineffecient... You would need HUMONGOUS Panels above a SINGLE charger to even come *close* to the power output they have.
      The problem with lithium mines are not the mined itself but rather the process they are extracted from.... as lithium mining still produces CO2 (This cant be avoided at this stage as mining is pretty much this way, this rather directed at the people who claim electric cars are 100% eco just cause they dont see an exhaust pipe at the back).
      Well yes they can be recycled as you said (which I believe is the best way, as you said) but it requires intensive labour and is also kinda ineffecient. its a lot more expensive than making a new battery (whose prices I believe will only drop as demand increases) but it does not produce the same amount which was put in, as in : recycling of lithium batteries (by china's best ) can mange to get over 120,000 despite conserving every last bit. but put the same effort for making new batteries there are more than 200,000 batteries produced.
      But yes I do agree with you as of now, electric is best we have, since they are not many in no. But to clain they are future and that future is 100% electric will fail horribly and do more harm than good if these (of many more that I'm too tired to type 😅) are not taken care of first.

    As a Vietnammese, this makes me very proud of my own country and excited cause of how advance we are to making a car with no pollution. From a enslaved country into a great country that could make a clean, safe and no pollution cars.
    Edit: But the production of the battery would actually be more polluted then normal diesel gas but hey, atleast the car is still frickin' better then the gas one. Also, I also want Vinfast to make electrical motorcycles so that in Vietnam. (my country, and a country that has alot of people using motorcycle because of how cars are so expensive and making electrical motorcycles can be a actual benefits and it'll probably stop a little bit of pollution in Vietnam and in the other country.)

      Electric cars aren't much better than regular cars. Of course, they have less pollution while driving them, but think about how the materials for it are made? There is the battery for example, which is extremely dangerous if you throw it away, which you will need to at some point, and they are made out of non-renewing materials.
      And then there is the electricity, that is running the car. It's more than likely to come out of a Coal Power Plant or anything like that.
      But I need to admit, these cars look beautiful.

    0 emission is misleading. How much pollution and emission is produced in the manufacturing process? With tesla the fact I know is that if you drive it for at least a year, you make up for the pollution caused by the manufacturing of the actual vehicle.
