Couple quick updates / edits:
*1.* The Devs updated the description for Skirmisher today. It was discovered in the code last night that Skirmisher actually awards +50% Focus at level 5. This was always true, but the description now reflects it.
*2.* The Devs also updated the description for Skirmisher to specify that the effects also apply on Assists and Counterattacks. This is false. While the effects are applied via Assists, they are _not_ applied via Counterattacks.
*3.* We are starting to see ISO-8 appear in Blitz. It seems to be tied to what the player who owns the team had set at the time of reference.
*4.* Due to someone misreporting their results, there is a mistake in this video. Drain actually _DOES NOT_ count as Active Healing.
The change in level 5 Skirmisher makes Yo-Yo busted. She always struggled with low focus particularly if she was only paired with BB (giving only +10% off her passive). Now she will be applying Off Down way more regularly. I assume this also answers my previous query about whether the Skirmisher buff clear is affected by resistance - presumably it is hence the focus buff at L5

Curious, I have a 7rs CM and in war she is on my yv team, she should probably be a striker on that team, right? But what about arena - I use this setup to counter 500k+ BO teams: Ultron (striker) IW (healer) CM (raider) Phoenix (striker) Colossus (fortifier). If you got any good recommendations (specially for CM) please let me know and thanks in advance
Great, but by that there are several ways to go with black order, especially thanos and proxima midnight and her hubby ?
For fortifiers, I also think high block chance and getting deflect are good traits. Characters like Captain America or Stryfe block a lot which also reduces damage significantly
you don't want fortifier on strife, he barriers a lot so you will hit max barrier and waste the rest.
@@damp2269 He will barrier a lot but his armor isn't that good and he can't get def up (unless Sinister gives it to him after Mystique copies it but that's situational) so I think he'll lose more than 7% barrier before it's his turn again when he's taunting
@@STORMB999 i'd guess it depends on ability level, i know some people have mentioned him reaching his barrier max level. I haven't loaded iso on marauders yet so take my opinion with a grain of salt.

Thanks, I'll give it another view when I get more time. Seems like pretty good info. There should be some good theory crafting with team comps. Long term I'm less concerned with best class for a character as opposed to maximizing team comps.
It's already making arena battles more trivial and I'm noticing a difference in U7.

Great vid - very insightful and easy to understand, thanks! BTW, I was surprised to see that Mr Sinister’s Ult did not label enemy toon as a Skirmisher. It doesn’t DO anything to the enemy toon, and I guess that’s why, but it does depend on targeting an enemy toon and select it for cloning.

I like adding Raider to defence down aoe characters since Vulnerable and defence down are stackable like Spiderman, Scarlett Witch, Symbiote Spiderman etc
Out of experience,shield is a team where the crit from a raider is massive,as you can nearly reach 100% crit chance due to the shield assault 50% crit chance buff to the entire team,allowing them to reach about 85% crit chance
Giving it to assault and fury will give you an energy battery with fury and a massive source of vulnerable,also giving coulson striker will allow him to benefit from said AoE and make him able of reducing speed twice per attack,basically doubling his basic attack turn bar effectiveness,even if the attack he used was his ult or special

With summoner characters like Ultron and Fury....if I make them healers their summoned don't put regens on characters as well do they? Was wondering if this might make them heal multiple times.
Correct. Summons don't get the Class Bonuses.
@khasino what is the interaction between generated power levels of opposing blitz teams and ISO-8? Do they get their matches’ ISO-8 class+1 level or ???
They don't get ISO-8, from what I've seen.

Khasino I've noticed that Vulnerable can't be resisted. Is the same thing true of the buff clear that Skirmishers get when they hit a Vulnerable target i.e. could a Skirmisher remove taunt off of Colossus getting +1,000% resistance?
I don't believe so. I think their buff clear is subject to a Focus check, but I'll have to double check.
Is vulnerable tag a multiplicative or additive property?
Great video ! In a mercenary team with Task and Killmonger: both on raider or one raider and the other striker ???
Taskmaster can be Raider for all his multi-target attacks or he can be Skirmisher for his constant assisting.
I have a question that has bothered me since start, what makes BB a better Striker than Raider ? He does have that AoE like Khasino suggested. (Do note my question also stems from my current raid setup i.e. BB Thanos Maw , so he does get to uses his AoE every turn or every other turn atleast).
He only has 1x AoE ability. His other 2x are single target. He also has some of the highest base damage in the entire game, and he has incredibly powerful Assists, which are referenced for his ISO-8 Bonus Attacks.
Tl;dr He gains a staggering amount of extra base damage, and his ISO-8 Bonus Attacks are really potent, and result in triple-hits with his Passive.

So I've noticed on Sabertooth assist even when it crits it doesn't apply vulnerable. Is the assist applying a vulnerable only for skirmisher?
Yes, but Raider is supposed to apply a Vulnerable on _any_ Crit

Well I got for arena Fenix - BB - ultron - Colosus - Invisible Woman, what should I do to make them even powerfull? I'm 107 - 160 in the arena in a normal day
I have exact same in Arena, I can take down BO teams, but mr. sinister, emma, usually give me trouble, hard to get past 100

What class should I use for Fury
My Minerva (7y6rs, Tier 14) has 250k health. Her passive heal on enemy death resulted in a measly 2k increase. What is that 5% heal increase level 1 healer based on? On discourse someone said that scopely confirmed that the level 1 heal does NOT apply to passive heal but mine definitively went up (ever so slightly). And that increase was not due to the 2% max heath increase...
The 5% increased healing should be applying to her Passive heals :)
Is there a nerdy character--class list ? i dont wanna spend time to calculate which class is the best for each
i have gone the opposite way on the corvus/proxima duo. corvus gets crit chance from stealth and he had the mini aoe so i put him on raider, then i put proxima on striker to take advantage of the assist. ebony is a skirmisher and the one giving trouble is thanos. empowered thanos should be striker because his basic will hit even when taunts are up and the flat damage is great but i'm using maw & order for raid and that is just base thanos which goes well with fortifier.

What happens if a target has vulnerability, a striker attacks and calls for an assist to another skirmisher? Does it bonus attack and then apply another? Does it bonus attack after them and consume only one vulnerability?
Bonus Attack consumes, but it doesn't get replaced :(

So, what does 'active healing' look like on a unit that doesn't have drain or another healing ability? Just take BB for example - does he benefit at all from active healing?
Nope. He will still apply the Minor Regen and 5% Max Health heal on Turn though.

Thoughts on making venom a striker? In theory I think it's a no brainer.
His damage isn't the best, but bonus attack on vulnerable means, applying 2 bleeds total, plus flipping up to 4 buffs into 4 debuffs.
He does great with Bonus Attacks.
Elsa Bloodstone makes a perfect Raider in my opinion. She already has high crit chance. And with that class, her basic is applying multiple stacks of vulnerable. Anyway, good stuff as usual!
Where would you put Ghost Rider?
I use him as a skirmisher since he's so fast and usually goes first.
What about Yo-Yo's passive with the pre-emptive offense down, if she is a Skirmisher will that trigger the Vulnerable on everyone she hits?
Probably not since its not an actual attack that you have control over
No, I’m testing her as a skirmisher, and it does not count as an attack, so it doesn’t apply it. Just on her turns for the person she hits.
I use her as a raider due to her hitting multiple targets on special and ult.

Sounds like a bug. He should, to the primary target.

may BB raider did an assist attack with a critical hit and did not apply vulnerable, is this normal?
May have been resisted. Raiders should apply everytime they crit and the target does not have 3 vulnerable, I think.
Assists don't count unfortunately

I agree with all of this, except fortifier. Use it on squishy characters like strange or HT in my opinion for survivability. Also it is a terrible class at level 1 since 10k barrier is nothing in late game content. But those are nitpicks this is amazing info and definitely sharing with my guikd
this is great advice, as a supernatural fan i completely agree, and also because in that particular team dr.strange has to survive to revive others, so i'd add characters that you need to keep alive in order for the team to work, like SS for example

Agreed on Doctor Strange, at least at higher levels of the class. With his passive T4'd, some extra barrier might make all the difference. Human torch is a different story... being on the F4 team with assists flying around everywhere he's going to see a lot of benefit as a striker. Turn 1 special applying offense up, getting an assist from a skirmisher is a significant adder. I don't think Fortifier will make him last long enough regardless so might as double down on him being a glass cannon
How does ISO-8 work on Sinister Clones and Summons ?
They get the Crystal stats, but not the Class stats or effects.
So with Skirmisher vulnerable can be applied through a characters assist?

@@Khasino Thanks! It also states that it can be applied on counters but I've only seen it happen once. Blob counters often but vulnerable isn't being applied so maybe it's a bug?
@@w0lfie292 We already tested it thoroughly. Counterattacks do not apply Vulnerable for Skirmishers, despite what the description says.

Yea basically I was thinking the same thing, unless the barrier mechanics were changed but still having full barrier is better than none

I put Scream as raider. venom and carnage as skirmisher. SSM as striker.
I put Thanos with Fortifier
Ultron with Raider
Was gonna put Maw with Skrim
Minn with Skrim
And SSM with Striker
So I guess since Sabertooth's passive involves regen it isn't affected by active healing.
It's a Passive heal, not a Regen buff, so it _is_ Active Healing.

I’m assuming Brawlers are Strikers, Protectors are Fortifier, Supports are Healers, Controllers are Skirmiser, and Blasters are Raider
That's far too simplified, and often inaccurate.
You want to play into synergies more often. Like Fortifier on all the F4 except Sue so you get nearly permanent retaliation attacks from her, for example.
Yeah definitely enjoying all the iso-8 possibilities, once everyone has enough iso-8 to build full teams I wonder how much harder war is gonna get with these full barrier teams people will be running on teams like as guard

no, raiders apply vulnerable if the attack is a critical hit. since maw's ult is percentage based, it won't ever be a critical hit
