8:40 You are half right, support focus has 2 nodes of 12 energy, support health has a 12 and a 24. At some point there was a piece that had 2 nodes of 24 but they must have changed it because I went through each piece for each class and did not see it. In any case support focus is the easiest piece to farm because you get more attempts, but you wont get as many ions while farming that piece.

Ooh, didn't realize that it's just base health that gets boosted. Makes sense to keep the progress even for everyone, though. I've been auto clearing the big nodes for the extra ions and general progress, but lately I've been running into the same iso imbalance that you're showing. Was all about ions up to recently. Thanks for this perspective...I definitely need to start target farming iso more and let some of the ion nodes go.

Do you suppose the drop rates for the ISO pieces for both the 12 vs 24 energy are identical? I always assume that the one for the 24 energy has to be higher.
Per 120 energy you only get 5 chances per 24 node vs 10 chances per 12 node. So drop chance is likely same but there's half a chance with 24 vs 12 because of energy cost
@@PhilosopherMSF Yea that sounds reasonable. I always just assume that the drop rate should be double given twice the amount of energy you use, but this sounds more plausible why they give you more ions.
In my experience you will get a similar amount of iso pieces in the 24s vs the 12s. Probably slightly more in the 12s, which only have 2 options for iso chips. However, you will get a broader selection of iso chips from the 24s since there are 4 kinds available. I've rarely noticed a difference of more than 1 or 2 and the 24s sometimes give more than the 12s. Both will sometimes not give you any of the chip you are farming, much like character shards from the standard campaigns. That makes it hard to judge without a large sample size. IMO if you also need purple gear, you are better off with the 24s if you aren't farming a specific piece, but rather all of a certain class.

What about ability of blue striker lvl 3 on Kestrel? Does 5% of hp as damage work on kestrel passive and does it need a vulnerability or not?

I do 50 core refreshes. Each day I do all of the 24 cost nodes to maximize ions, then I search for the gaps in my isos and farm those afterwards.
