This video is similar to my other Minecraft, But, 1.14 challenges. Me and my friend try to trick and trap each other. The first person to die loses. This competition was crazy fun and crazy challenging. If you have any tips and tricks leave them in the comments!

Hey Dream! Under the small chance you see this, there is a trap that actually might be the most OP in the history of this game. When you place upside down slabs, it looks like a floor you can mlg on. But if the player attempts to mlg, the water will be placed inside the slabs rather than on top of them, making a fall damage trap where mlg water is impossible.

I remember one night when i was around 8, me and my dad stayed up until around 11pm (past bedtime) on minecraft, we were building a underwater base and my mum came in and told me to go to bed. The next day I came back from school and he had an enchanted sword for me. That is the last memory of us playing together and genuinely enjoying ourselves. He doesn't have time for that anymore, always busy, always tired, always something.

Salvaging parts from the jungle temple without Dream knowing, feigning that he hasn't make a trap so that Dream lowers his guards, placing that chest knowing that Dream just can't resist robbing his items, and even talking with Dream nonstop after the swap so that Dream will even be more distracted and open the chest without thinking. All of which are already Dream-grade deception, and if Dream is Minecraft's Hannibal and George is Scipio, THIS would be the Zama moment where the unbeatable legend falls to his foe-apprentice who learns from him a lot through years of battling and losing to him.

He should have made a gravel trap that had a huge tower and a pressure plate which pulled out, letting the sand/gravel fall. The only counter is by putting something like a torch down

Would've been hilarious if at 15:57 Dream didn't make a trap and was bluffing, and George would have wasted his gapple.
Two things to day about the mining trip, that raw iron block and all the iron and tuff around it is part of a large iron vein, and can have around 2000 iron ore, which makes it a great find! the other thing is that you will have to go mining above y:0 for coal, as coal does not spawn below y:0 at all (which also makes deepslate coal ore an incredibly rare block, ironically)

Idea : Death swap, but it's between 3 people where 2 random people swap and 1 person stays
It would be interesting, because if there isn't a way of knowing whether or not your getting swapped, and you try jumping into lava, and you don't get swapped, then you end up dying to your own trap. This would also raise the stakes, as each trap would require a safe way out of it, just in case you don't get swapped.
PAPU 711 then your opponents would also have a way out 😂 this is a cool idea though and I’d love to see it done!

funny enough, the first 4 tnt launched him upwards, which prevented him from being damaged by the other tnt, meaning that trap was quite flawed

trap idea: 1 by 2 hole, (with obi) filled with water, around the obi is lava. Water will slow mining, and water and lava will make cobble. Your welcome :]
Just rewatching this for nth time. It would be interesting if they also swap inventory. You could get rid of all of their possible outs (bucket, pearls, gapples etc.) But they could also leave you with nothing.
I love how the race to the blacksmith at the beginning would have completely changed the outcome if Dream didn't get that pickaxe.
Later on in the video he did find some diamonds, so he still would have been fine

This episode really shows how smart they both are. George with the piston trap was a genuine surprise to me, and dream's genius ender pearl thing. I really really hope there is a part 3.

I think the chest trap embodies Dream's biggest weakness as a tactician: he doesn't expect George to be able to deploy brilliant plans too.
And in the Speedrunner vs 3 Hunter, Dream didn't expect a lava trap in the end

I mean everyone has their Weaknesses too after all, otherwise everything would've been really unfair. That's what makes it fun, even if Dream has giant big brain, he still has his flaws, after all, he's just a human.

A good trap is if you jump down from high and place such a step at the bottom, which Gerorge mlg makes the water into the step and dies of fall damage because the water is on the other side

I assumed he was gonna make use of the sticky pistons to drop infinite gravel, but this way is good too

In case you ever do this challenge again, you could use a trapped chest to get your opponent to open it at their own will and explode with TNT under it. I would place it so they can't see the trap along with items in the chest and food or something valuable cooking so they stay in the explosion radius for a short time.
