Well done, quality video! Would using the beeswax on wood floors that have been sealed with hemp oil help add extra protection to the floors, as well as add a sheen? It's my understanding that hemp oil will leave a matte finish, correct? Is it a bad idea for some reason to put beeswax on floors? Thank you!
It is not a good idea to put our beeswax finish on your floor - the wax will not hold up with the wear and tear that a floor gets. Hemp oil is plenty of protection - and it also does leave a sheen! If you want even more protection and even more sheen, might I suggest our Stain and Finishing Oil in Natural - it is an oil based conditioner, stain, and top coat (but the natural has no pigment). The more coats you apply, the more sheen you get.

You can not apply oil over wax, so you would have to remove it with odourless solvent. You will know you need more when the wood looks and feels dry- for each wood this is a different amount of time, and it depends how saturated it was to being with when you applied the oil
Alicia T I actually sent a message to a fushion stockist. She said you can use hemp oil on top of fushion paint, but to use just a little. How much is a little? 🤷🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️
Hi Beth. I’m a Fusion retailer. Fusion has a built-in top coat so you don’t need to “seal” it with anything else but if you want a little shine to your finish, especially on darker colours, then you can rub some Help Oil on top. The paint will have sealed your piece so the Hemp Oil will not penetrate through that down into the wood like this video shows on raw, unfinished wood. As for how much to apply, just apply a thin even amount.....you should be able to see it on your piece but wipe the excess off. Also, I wouldn’t recommend using this on top of a white colour as all oil-based products yellow over time.

@@reginafrank6643 we mean any surface period, quarts counter tops, ceramic, wood, it's never a good idea to put a very hot items onto these surfaces, you could ruin them. Use something in between to protect your surface.

Can Hemp oil wood finish be used on a veneer coffee table to protect against water stains?
If it is bare veneer without a top coat yes it can help, otherwise if it is coated we recommend the Gel Stain & Top Coat.

When used on a butcher block bar, will setting a plate of hot food on it, affect the finish?
It could, it is not recommended to put hot food directly onto any surface.

For sure! If you want to up the sheen a little or use one of our pigmented waxes to decorate or enhance carvings and details.
