Drives me insane when people hate on an artist who’s been at it awhile for cutting back on screams/growls or saving it for when it’s most powerful. Think of vocal performance like athletic performance. You don’t expect an athlete in their 30s to beat their bodies up the same way they did when they were 18 or 20. Screaming is taxing on the voice even when you have a flawless, safe technique, and that’s not really the arsenal of skills a frontman in their 20s is usually working with unless they have big bucks to work with a specialized instructor.
My husband really succeed in making me love BMTH's songs. The only metal band with "screams" that I like 😂😂 now I'm joining my husband in waiting for you guys to come to Indonesia

That chorus feels like its playback, specialy when he is jumping around and doesnt miss a beat but yet he barely can sing the other parts..he rly must of blown his voice for good.

Not to pile on but i really hope Oli sounds better for their Download headline set this year. He sounds like he's saving his voice for the chorus, barely screaming or growling. Even his cleans sound kinda difficult.
