If this is what we teach our children in schools from early age , then they will not loose connection with their religion , past and identity.

Please, we shouldn't lean on anyone to teach our kids The Deen and The Correct Creed.
With Allah Grace, it's up to us (parents) to do it before any other external entity.. our kids are Amana and WE who will be asked about our Amanat..

I partly agree with you, i want to make an example:
If we bring our children to a dentist it isn’t leaving the emane. The emane is just taken to a one who is ehli / professional in it.
So we should know more yes i agree but bringing to brother Uthman my children SubhanAllah that would be taking care more likely then leaving emanet
My English is not so good 😊

Surely, we always need "professionals" to learn and teach, but my point was that no one should precede us to teach our children Aqeedah (creed and foundation).. but of course and all praise be to Allah that He Has always granted us with brilliant Scholars may Allah accept from them and Have Mercy on those who left us and bless those who are still with us, and make us learn from them and benefit us from what we have learnt and increase us in knowledge.. Edited: Please CORRECT me if I am WRONG.
One of the best presentations on Madhhabs so far. May Allah SWT reward the shaykh for the work he has done and been doing. He is right that madhhabs are just paths, which connect us to the Quran and Sunnah, and we should not be obsessed with blindly defending our madhabs.
I am a nobody compared to him, and I apologize to him in advance, HOWEVER, some crucial points are being missed here:
    1. Majority of the muslims will not (and, maybe, are not capable of) reaching the level when they are no longer in need of a scholar to interpret the Quran and hadith.
    2. How a mere person is going to tell a trustworthy scholar apart from a wolf in sheep’s clothing and not be misguided and bring more DIVISION inside the ummah. Majority does not have enough tools (sufficient knowledge) to do that.
    3. Even if we assume that everybody around the globe finds a righteous scholar, still the level of knowledge of most of those scholars will be NOTHING compared to the Madhab imams and their students. Moreover, MORE OPINIONS will mean MORE DIVISION.
    4. Isn’t it less risky to take the opinion of the school of scholars (madhab imams and hundreds of their students) rather than of ONLY ONE scholar.
    5. Coming back to the trustworthiness and division - the 4 madhabs with their imams and students are recognized and accepted by the muslim world - no doubt in their righteousness. So for a community it is much much better to follow one madhab and be united, rather than in pursuit of PERFECTION (in search for the VERY BEST answer) have different scholars (opinions) and be divided and open a huge door for fitnah.
    6. He says that people blindly follow and defend their madhabs. Those who do this, will still BLINDLY follow and defend their NEW "scholars". So, isn't it better for them to blindly follow and defend GREAT MINDS (madhab imams) rather than...
    Allah SWT knows best…

    • @mohammadkothawala4440
      @mohammadkothawala4440 2 года назад +6

Very true...better to follow the madhab for a layman muslim...because ppl who say we don't follow any madhab are indirectly following today's scholars(who also claim to be following Quran and Sunnah)...so better to follow the imam of fiqh(pious predecessors)
Today's scholars say we don't follow the madhab, instead follow quran and sunnah but they don't mention that follow quran and sunnah Accor to our understanding. If they say that people won't follow them.
So in a crux, better to follow the imams of fiqh(imam ahmed bin hambal RH, imam shafai RH, Imam Abu Hanifa RH, imam Malik RH), who had better understanding of quran, sunnah and usol ul fiqh.
That being said, I'm only talking about laymen and not about scholars and ppl well versed in deen. Layman muslims tend to be confused easily and with so much fitna(fake scholars) appearing esp with social media fake scholars, it's better for laymen Muslims to stick to particular mazhab.
As shaikh Albani RH also stated that previously we were suffering from blind following but now we are suffering free for all.

PERIOD! And the day we discover that we made mistakes, must make immediate correction and rectify our affair, without being obstinately insistant of our own or our Scholars' opinions. @@thetruthwithproof8802 you do realise that without Hadith and the 4 Imams, we wouldn’t have a way to even pray the 5 prescribed daily Salahs. There is so much effort and scrutiny put into helping a guiding path for Muslims to follow the Quran and the Prophet (pbuh). We don’t even know the authors of the Bible so how can anyone even think to compare these teachings to the Bible and Paul? These Islamic teachings are based on the Qur’an and Hadith, they are not based on some guy’s dream. The Imams were of impeccable character and only helped with guidance of a growing population of Muslims to help us in the right direction or we would be all over the place more than we are now. Your analogy to Christianity doesn’t even make sense.

Sunnis are those who prefer to Follow the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad pbuh him rather only Ahlulbait A.S , Our Scholars collected ahadith from every Sahaba R.A including Ahlul Bait A.S but what happened No One earlier scholar called Sunni it was common that we have to follow Sunnah of the Prophet Pbuh Later the differentiation was made when Shia started to divert from Political difference to religious difference and started to develop their own Fiqah and Schools etc So then two term used to differentiate between Shia and Sunni school of thought, Sunni scholars develop Hadith and Fiqah on the bases of Quran and Sunnah of Prophet Pbuh while Shia differs they consider imamat as basic principal So they develop their fiqah and Ahadith on the bases of Ahlulbait and it was not necessary that chain must have reached to Prophet Muhammad pbuh in shia school of thought they also consider Imam words as authentic , On the Other hand Sunnis differ We sunnis consider Prophet Muhammad pbuh as last source and Authentic Source So Sunnis chain of narration Must reached to Prophet Muhammad pbuh , if not then we consider that hadith to be moqoof hadith , barelvi and devbandi is sect they they are not scholl of thoughts but got divided and had some rift of opinions of scholars and then they started separate madrasah in two cities of india called devband and barelvi , they actually follow hanafi school but they also had difference among themselves and in 18th century they got divided on some issues like Eid milad celebrations , hazi wo nazir , asking help from graves , Waseela etc they got divided on those issues one said it is biddah and haram and one said it is not etc Hope you got the idea

      1. Sunni or Ahlus Sunnah wal Jama'ah (Aswaja). Term of aswaja used back then from first generation grow old, the sahabah like Ibnu Abbas ra. to different with other sect like Kharijites and syiah. Aswaja is path who follow sunnah prophet and sunnah sahabah (The student who learn directly from prophet saw and their understanding of sunnah).
In Aqeedah: Aswaja follow path of Imam Asy'ari or Imam Maturidi
In Fiqih (Islamic Ruling) : Aswaja follow 4 Mazhab, Imam Hanafi, Imam Malik, Imam Syafi'i, Imam Hambali
In Tasawuf : Aswaja follow path of Imam Junaid Al Baghdadi or Imam Al Ghazali which strict with syariah or fiqih.
      2. In Aqeedah: one of big different is about Allah's voice that prophet hear (like Musa as). In maturidi, the voice doesn't like the sound, can't be heard, someone can know the speak without knowing how. In asy'ari, the voice can be heard. There is no crucial different between those two.
In Fiqih : In Fajar Prayer, Mazhab malik and mazhab syafi'i have qunut prayer. In Mazhab hanafi and hambali doesn't have.
In India, the majority mazhab is Hanafi, in my country we have other mazhab but in transaction in e-commerce we follow opinion from scholar of mazhab hanafi.
      3. I don't have deep knowledge about deobandi or barelvi.
In my opinion, they are like movement or organization. Movement or organization is like a social movement or a non-governmental organization (NGO). They doesn't have same aspect as Mazhab.
Deobandi have much influenced by wahabi salafi (they don't follow Asy'ari or Maturidi in Aqeedah) heavely funded by saudi government and barelvi is closer to sufism's aswaja, movement to fight wahabi salafi's influence.
