As someone who lives in America, I really don't understand the concept of throwing personified versions of America and Russia/Soviet Russian into a romantic relationship, especially considering our nations' diplomatic policies towards each other could best be described as a smile with a side of .45
We hated USSR until Gorby took over and we watched his steps and liked his way towards communism and the USSR but even then we would shoot eachother if they got too close
