Really hope you're feeding the Corys enough, they need more than you'd think, I learned this the hard way.
Many years ago I had a group die on me, because they literally starved. I just didn't realize how much more food they needed.

    Beautiful Tank MD!
I’d get the co2 booster on the thread algae bits on the moss and wood first - wait a bit before trimming, this means the loose thread algae (presuming dead or dying by this time) will be munched on by your amanos and not reestablish elsewhere

Looking awesome as usual MD! Since rainbows are such slow growers and slow to reach maturity /full, full color, do you think you'll keep this tank setup long enough to see them full size? I have had my turquoise and boesmanis almost a year and they are just now getting chonky. 🤣 Rainbows are the long game!

The colours are brilliant! I notice the males show a distinct gold bar down the front of their head when they are all charged up in the morning, it's not always there, only when they are excited

Heey MD, keep up the good work! You can easily kill the algae on the wood by spot treating it with co2 booster by using a syringe or needle. That way you dont need to lower the water level. Also, try using the Dennerle Cleanator sponge. Cant miss out in your maintenance cart! Glass, tubes, wood, rock, you can clean it all with the cleanator! Greetings from The Netherlands

Just discovered your channel and find it the best out there. Have you tried putting pond soil in the zip bags you use. Rather than aquatic soil.

I think my old stuff is whipped out before it gets a chance to go yellow as it all grows so fast

Have you thought about adding loaches to the rainbow fish aquarium? Like kuhli loaches instead of Cory cats for a clean up crew?

MD have you ever had problems with plant stems randomly thinning/rotting months after the tank was set up?

MD! 👊 Question pal- with your low light sets ups, do you have a general “watts per gallon” you like to stick to? Looking for “lighting” for a “new set up” “thanks!” “😉”

Doesn't adding so much wood drop the PH too much? I already have soft water and am looking at setting up a wood heavy tank.

Awesome tank, you don't use Co2? What fertilizers do you use?

Hey love your videos very helpful. My wife said I could finally get an aquarium for my 2yr old and I wanted to make it enjoyable for him but also challenge me. Some of my favorite memories with my dad were going to the fish store and picking out fish and would like to pass that down but I haven’t had an aquarium in 15 year and a lot has changed. I have some questions I would like to know the best way to contact you. Thanks and love your channel.
