It's now I notice that all the Fontaine characters rely heavily on HP and as someone with too many HP pieces with weirdly good substats, this is an absolute win.
If you want Drip Impact for Lyney that also works for him, Blackcliff Bow is a solid choice. It's a Crit Damage bow, too. Will beef up your ratios. And although the bow's set effect is a bit situational, since he hits so hard he'll have an easier time proccing it in any fight with trashmobs. I have it on him and it looks niiiiiiice.
"Where were you during the AQ" reminds me of this gif I saw once. It was Dvalin attacking Mond, then it just cuts to Albedo painting and Eula dancing. Albedo at least has a semi-excuse in watching over Durin/Dragonspine. But Eula? She probably was just busting moves by the lake while everyone else was being attacked.
Pretty much every character added after the main parts of the archon quest has no excuse for being absent except for Mika I think since he's been with Varka up until he was about to be released, but also to be fair in the case of the Mondstadt questline most characters could have been out in different areas helping with recovery from Dvalin's attack. Venti only brought along Jean and Diluc, entrusting them with his true identity, which I can only assume is because their ancestors helped him and the nameless Bard so he was feeling really sentimental or something. Liyue and Inazuma new characters on the other hand, I can't really understand how they managed to avoid us.
Way back in the Prologue, Kaeya and Lisa explain that while Dvalin was attacking, Albedo and the rest of the knights were preparing for a siege by the Abyss. He helped repel the attack when the Traveler, Venti, Jean, and Diluc went to Stormterror's Lair. We just missed him when we came back. Eula was doing a recon mission somewhere near Liyue (that's how she met Yanfei), and only recently came back during her Story Quest.
Kirara's company (Komaniya express) only started doing international deliveries after the borders to Inazuma opened. Which I mean, they were still doing deliveries inside Inazuma so still, like, where was she during the archon quest, but as a Kirara main I just wanted to point that out... I like to imagine she was doing cat things with her granny during the archon quest tho bc we don't actually have a timeline of when she started working :3
Lyney is the new rizzler. He's finally building him! As an Amber main who got Lyney so I could get the twins, he has worse artifacts than my Amber but still hits harder. That's how broken he is.
It reads like if you said Ganyu hits harder than qiqi. xD He is strong as hell, but he was balanced around not doing elemental reactions. So he's pyro eula/itto
I Mean... Don't get me wrong- As a Kaeya Main Hitting Harder than the Starting Cast as a Newer Character isn't exactly Hard to do 😭 Most Supports Nowadays Hit Harder than Most of the Starter Characters 💀

Always so refreshing to get a dose of genuine enthusiasm for a new character. No deep math analyses for the optimal build, simply testing by playing and having fun. Especially commmendable when said character has less of those… feminine assets mr Kage seems to usually appreciate a lot. Wiggle cat doesn’t count 😸

I'm stalling for Furina because she is too cute not to get. Plus I need a Hydro char and she will likely be the strongest one even if she's weak canonly. Like Nahida doesn't even fight, but her unit is the best support in the game, gameplay wise.
I suspect the primary reason why "E" skill cooldowns are not on display is for the sake of mobile players; those screens get kinda busy as it already is. Adding ANOTHER indicator really wouldn't work on such small screen sizes.
I failed to get him too. I don't like his playstyle or design, but he won my heart with his personality. I hate how hypocritic Lumine/Aether is towards him.
I try not level any artifacts with flat def or def%....since that is usually where all of my upgrades go to. I have so many almost perfect pieces until the defense pops/levels up. And farming better pieces is a pain😭 Still looking forward to seeing Kage's reaction to Act 2 of the Fontaine AQ
And as i click the thumbs up to be the 100th, i am proud to say my Dehya is triple crowned, part cause i love her and part to cause physical pain to Dehya haters.
I respect the fashion impact thing but I can’t. If a weapon grants better stats I’m giving it to the character. I prefer raw damage over just matching. I leave fashion to wind glider matching which I see that more than weapons anyway. I mean my Raiden has Jade Spear. Purple and green isn’t perfect but it looks okay. Same for Kekw and Jade Cutter. I was also holding onto the Twilight Bow on Yelan because it kinda matches but Stringless does better for her and I realized it matches her too what with the glowing string.
I couldn't do it. There is no way i could stand running around for hours and hours with those super fruity shorts and a literal garter to hold his lame stocking up. Hard pass. Ill stick with Yoimiya for ranged pyro dps. But i'm glad you are enjoying him though.
