Thank you for showing us how the vacuum works with a normal day today house clean up like pet hair. The video helped me a lot and give me the confidence to go on and buy one for myself! Thanks tool boss!
Best real-world of review of this vacuum that I could find. Thank you I believe I am sold. CFM does not tell the whole story. It depends on the diameter of the tube and how it performs under a load. Water lift is the real determining Factor.
Led light ? Your vaccuming in the dark .. lol .. yea wouldn't hurt .. not sure how useful it be .. its a foot wide .. not fitting it in any tight spots
@@toolboss8410dark in alaska and some houses I clean are dimly lit. I use a headlamp usually. vacuuming under desks tables and couches I'd like to see little stuff I dont want to suck up legos coins and jewelry generally. A light close to the ground in front of th he attachment gives me a heads up is cool. But I still like this vac
I've had this vacuum for 2 days now and I'm liking it more and more. At first I thought it didn't have enough power but I noticed the canister was full of debris so it obviously is working. It really kicks butt vacuuming stairs. After watching this vid I'm gonna try putting the power head without the extension on the vac and see if it will clean out my truck that's always full of dog fur stuck to the carpet.
Have had mine for a week. Works good. Remodeling my master bath so I have some construction dust. Did the master bedroom too....picked up a dog hair well.
It doesn’t like any carpet higher than what you cleaned. It stalls the beater head. It’s really designed for the shop rather than around the house. It’s good for stairs with low carpet, too.
Looks great. Enhancement id like to see is attachable light that is waterproof and easy to clean w water vs ruin it. I forgot if bristles were rubber but whatever it is should be washable and uber easy to clean off and not get messed up by woman’s long hair which is gross to clean (yep, i contribute). Looks like you can easily wash the big bin and not mess up any filters which i LOVE. I hope this has a Hepa filter or something so fines dont redistribute! But i dont want to clean and scrub the hepa every single time, nor should it get wet whenever we empty and wash the bin (every time or almost every time)! Ugh. Last thing id love is some kind of attachable vibrating mop to get the fines after big stuff captured! Make it easy to clean though, please! I have a Nellie’s mop and love it but id prefer to do it all in one swoop if possible…maybe too good to be true and impossible for homes w big dogs and dirt in back yard lol. 🐶
I was waiting to see if I should get the Melie HX1 for $500 or this milwalkee for $200. For solid floors. I think the power head might scratch the finish. Does the normal floor head have rubber feet as well? I need something that won’t scratch a polished finish.
Thanks Boss. RUclips knows what you are up to. I am now getting Vac ads during your video. How does it compare to the 0880 Wet/Dry vac? I need a vac for small area cleanup installing plug boxes and the like. The 0880 is a bit too bulky form my tastes.
Any chance you could try putting some drywall dust through it and see how the filters load up? Or just keep running a bunch of household dirt through it and see how much the filters clog up? I've been waiting to see some folks put it through its paces before I pull the trigger but everyone just dose the cursorily first go with a clean filter.
Thanks, TB. Great review. This looks more versatile (and cheaper) than the Backpack Vac!! I nabbed the backpack deal a few weeks ago but it's still unboxed in my garage. Is it just as strong in your opinion? If you had $199 and had to buy either this jobsite vac or the the backpack, which would you prefer?
If I may chime in: I would have to say the backpack Shop-Vac is a totally different tool. More for construction debris and big pieces and larger volume and the ability to use it as a blower blow off Sawdust xcetera. This is more for detailed cleanup or household cleanup with a actual powerhead/beater bar. I wish the backpack had a powerhead beater bar.
All you have to do is really read the CFM. On each model usually tells you which one is more powerful this vac is really made for carpeted vaccuming .. in my opinion .. if not much cheaper options with more CFM... Its all about the powered floor tool .. that being said will do great with saw dust or any other debris people use these tool vacs for
Interesting. Seems like this vac is pretty controversial, the Home Depot reviews seem to be pretty mixed, lot of people saying this has the gen 1 curse. Would love to see some more testing with this
Not in this application as this vac has a powered floor tool .. but as I'm going to get into in other videos with this most people are buying it for this powered floor attachment...if not there better options
Be awesome for that ... like I said in a few comments the only reason you're really buying this vac is because of the powered floor tool so you're mainly buying this for carpets if you want my honest opinion..
I mean, I feel like they made it as ugly as possible, but it should beat the crap out of the dyson v8 that only has 6 minutes of run time and the slowest charger in the known universe.
Thank you for showing us how the vacuum works with a normal day today house clean up like pet hair. The video helped me a lot and give me the confidence to go on and buy one for myself! Thanks tool boss!
How is it working out for you
I have had it for a few weeks. It works great. The low mode is excellent for area rugs. It won’t lift them up. It really picks up the dog hair, too.
👍👍👌🤙

CFM does not tell the whole story.
It depends on the diameter of the tube and how it performs under a load.
Water lift is the real determining Factor.
👍👍✌️👌🙏
I started a cleaning service and i think this would be perfect
Sold I’m buying one ,was going to buy a Dyson ,this video change my mind Thks Tool boss
No problem buddy ..a nice vac..a bit heavy ..this 4 years old now ...I would love to see a gen 2 version
Only thing I wish the power head had an led light on it.

Led light works great with providing a raking light to show pet hair.

Perfect gift for the ole lady this Xmas, thanks for the inspiration boss
That Milwaukee vacuum is a monster

That vacuum is a beast
Thats crazy 👍 suckin like a 100 cfm.... guessing I don't need the misses on Friday nights anymore...
I like it. Personally I think it’s better than any other vacuum ive seen that uses a tool battery
Would've been perfect if Milwaukee made it with dual power...
True a plug-in option would be nice.
They might already have a battery that is a plug-in adapter for any tool I'm not sure.
Can't wait for this to go on sale or with a hack of some kind. I want this vac! Perfect for my RV. Thanks Tool Boss!
Great demonstration video @Tool Boss
This is definitely on my list that was impressive how much debris it picked up. 👍🏼
It doesn’t like any carpet higher than what you cleaned. It stalls the beater head. It’s really designed for the shop rather than around the house. It’s good for stairs with low carpet, too.
Most thicker carpet is too much for any cordless vacuum. It just requires to much power to clean.
Handy little vacuum..great for car clean up.
Oh no, Tool Boss has become a vacuum salesman. Do not go door-to-door!
I don't understand why the reviews on this thing are so mixed. In your video, this appears to do the job perfectly for a compact battery powered vac.
Its heavy a bit awkward to use .. has very good suction.. but it something you dont look forward to using if that makes sense.
@@toolboss8410 gotcha it does seem a bit large, I might get the M12 compact vac just for easy to reach for fast detail work.
After 3 years, are y’all still using the vacuum? Mine seems to clog every 10 seconds.
Poor cat won’t know where their litter box went LOL
🤣🤣🤣😾😾😾🍾

Thank you!
Thanks for the video Boss..Was wondering about this tool ✌️
Thanks Jeffrey .. have a great holiday 🎄🎄🎄🤙👌🙏
Looks like I'll be buying one now . Thanks boss 👍🏽
Got this for my wife for Christmas
Would like to see the deep down carpet cleaning without the extra powered head.
I like how it sounds
That vacuum sucks!!! lol I’m receiving mines in a few days
Milwaukee should just take the ridgid cordless shop vac idea and make their own already. That's what all the contractor want for their jobs.
I'm not sure what you mean by take the Ridgid cordless Shop-Vac and make it their own?
Looks great to me. Id love to see how the filter is dealt with.
You just take it out and you can wash it
@@carlmcdonald5864 It's the taking out that I'd like to see. Washing them is a bad idea. Compressed air, better.

Why not get a Dyson? They are getting clearanced out at Lowe’s.
The item number is 0940-20
I have this vacuum, but what is the model # for that vacuum head that locks.
You say very well made wait till the wife gets her hands on it , my wife is heavy handed, couple of weeks and it will be done.

Well again i would only recommend if your mainly wanting a powered floor tool

They should make kitchen appliances
Well, time to head to Home Depot lol
This or the compact?

If it picks up dogs hair on my carpet - I will but it . I can save money too for with not buying Dyson . 😀
For 200 if it came with a battery i think id be worth it 😔
