I returned my Standard glass for the Nano texture today because the Nano doesn't stick to your hand while drawing. I prefer that. The standard glass is visually better. The nano glass does have a "RGB Sparkle" on full white backgrounds. You can clearly see it where as you cant on standard glass. Standard glass is optically superior... however... I prefer the Nano for drawing. The reduced glare is great too but you do lose a little bit contrast. Again the standard is the superior image but... Nano is better to draw on since your hand does not stick.
I’m not an artist and I bought the nano glass. Most comfortable screen ever
do you use the screen protector
@@Tej-g1u I don't use any screen protector. I have a magic keyboard and with apple care for 2 years both are covered against physical damage. I carry my ipad in a laptop case
@@felixlechat1780 Thank you very much
I have a concern no artist talks about in their reviews so far: if Apple says that we can only wipe the nano glass with their special cloth to not damage the screen, I wonder, if drawing on it using a drawing glove (made out of a non Apple cloth) what can happen? Would that drawing/sliding movement count as "wiping the nano texture glass with another type of cloth"?
I have wondered this too?
it is very important to me as I always use gloves😅
Go check out a demo version of the nano texture glass in the Apple Store that has an apple pencil attached and you will clearly see pencil marks on the screen. As long as youre viewing against a dark background like a photo that has some dark areas on it you can see the pencil marks. I brought it to the attention of the Genius dude who tried to wipe it off with his finger and it would not come off. He also tried 2 different cloths to wipe it and it still would not come off. He then tells me that the nano texture glass needs a special cloth that it come with, but unfortunately they did not have that cloth in store. Right !! - Do you research before you jump for the nano texture. Hopefully that special magical cloth can clean off those pencil marks, and its not actually scratches.
You don’t need gloves with the nano texture because your hand just glides through with the texture of this screen
I got the 11 pro with nano screen and 1TB with keyboard and pencil and in Australia that cost $4,000 dollars.
I was so torn making a design between the two screens, I ended up walking away with the nano textured glass and I couldn’t be happier! Everything glides like butter on this screen
I think I actually prefer the texture of the nano to matte screen protectors for drawing. And compared to the standard glass, its night and day IMO. No unpredictablle slipping of the pencil or your fingers when doing gestrues. If you require that toothy feeling of paper though, Id go standard + screen protector but at that point youre negating the benefits of standard display. I returned my standard glass for the nano texture but Ill be using it mostly for illustration.
For drawing artists and portability, I think the iPad Pro (with nano texture) is better. Of course Wacom professional monitors are much better, but they're in a league of their own and cost a lot more with the addition of a powerful computer.
Been going back and forth between a lot of videos to decide if getting the nano texture ipad pro is worth it.
I'm leaning towards yes, but I was also curious about the wacom tablet you use.
Is it an intuos or a cintiq?
I have the 2TB iPad Pro 13 inch glossy screen I love it🔥🔥
Glossy means
With nano texture
Or standard glass?
@@satyambasiya Glossy is standard glass
@@philipduodu8867 thank you
Dumb lol could have just bought 256 gb
How is nano texture good for art?
$1999 for a tablet is total ludicrous when you can buy a premium PC and get double benefit.
That you can’t draw on
ads are too long
Life is short if you don’t spend your money.someone else will come and spend your money for you .buy nano model enjoy life stop the complaining
you ramble and repeat way too much bro
For what feels like 50% of the video he complains about the price he had to pay. Then leave it or contact Apple to get test copies. Dislike and Unsub!
Grow up
I know it appeals to some people, but I’m not a fan of the nano screen on the iPad Pro. Yes, it does cut down on glare, but it also dulls the colors of the beautiful OLED screen on the new iPad Pros. The whole point of the OLED screen are those pure blacks & colors that pop. I find the nano screen defeats the whole purpose of the OLED screen. And that’s what I’m paying for. If i want to cut down on glare, I can get a matte screen. But glare was never an issue with me. As an artist, I care more about the vibrant colors of the OLED screen. Plus the nano textured screen is not rough like paper. If you want that feel, just get a screen protector like PaperLike.
but PaperLike will still show a glare!
@@gosman949 I’ve owned iPads since the first one in 2010 and glare has never been an issue for me. For others it might be, but not me. So I’d rather have the OLEDs true blacks & vibrant colors over glare reduction.
@@Regantdarcy you will see less glare and the same blacks and colors with the nano glass. Go look for yourself.
@@gosman949 I did look for myself …and the colors altho decent were NOT as bright & vibrant as those on the regular glass and the blacks weren’t as black. That’s just the way I feel. As an artist, the vibrant color & true black are more important to me than any glare(which to be honest really hasn’t been an issue for me the 14 years I’ve owned iPads). Others may feel differently about the nano glass, and that’s fine for them. Its all good.
Great video. I’ve watched several professional artists, not just RUclipsr creators who actually do work on iPads. They universally love the new iPad, find the nano texture helped them draw better and their pro apps have already incorporated the new Pencil features. The MacBook is the device best suited for videographers.
Isn’t the 16 GB RAM a pretty big deal as well though? I often run out of layers in procreate working on big files.
I’m still good with my M2 IPad Pro with Magic Keyboard and pencil.
Nobody cares lol
Could you not just get the normal glossy screen and get an antiglare screen protector? Seems like with the nano texture you ant even put a screen protector on it
I love tech channels. Subscribed.
I was visiting Anchorage when the new iPad was released, I got my 1TB 11” iPad Pro and Pencil Pro with only $1928 tax free, pretty good save if you can buy iPad from tax free state!
Apple iPad Pro M4
What did it cost ?
Thanos :Everything 😂
it costs nothing, if you have a job
I like how cool chill and real and sometimes funny while reviewing devices it!
That's a lot of extra 💰 for nano-texture. 😮
14:31 the borders were kept glossy due to the camera
seven hunderd bucks extra for twice the ram, and twice the storage, not to mention the improved screen. I spent 700 bucks every two weeks for groceries, so one has to be pretty short sighted, or Irish level cheap to care.
yes and leverage that over 10 years and it is only a few bucks a year!
where do you live to pay 350 a week on groceries?!
W Seth video as always
wow, you RUclipsR'S are so rich!
A touch surface that will get super dirty overtime and can only be wiped rarely by a special cloth. Hmmm…
Rarely? why rarely? You don’t need a special cloth they say that for legal reasons. The pencil will be drawing on it so why the hell would you need a special cloth?
My son is 9 and keeps begging me to get him an android tablet because he doesn't like his ipad pro lol. He says there's not enough freedom. This is coming from a 9 year old!!! How TF does he know about that kind of stuff?!?!
Because his favorite game doesn't work on the iPad, it's about the feeling, not the knowledge.
@@pastuh I doubt that. His favorite game is "My singing Monsters" 😂
Because he’s right
