The Road to Marine Officer Selection | Judge Advocate

We know it's been worth the wait!
The path to becoming a Marine has been a long road for University of Alabama law student John Dawson. He still has a ways to go, but his selection to Officer Candidate School is nothing short of expectations. I'll be cheering for him all the way through!
Marine Officer Candidate John Dawson has been selected to attend Officer Candidate School (OCC 244) under a Law Contract. He will be going on to train and serve as a Judge Advocate General. He and his brother LCpl. Staley Dawson have both sought the title Marine. It can be a challenging road, but through perseverance John will achieve that goal and serve among our prestigious ranks.
