    Thank you, because of intrusive thoughts I avoided by brother, and avoided everyone who really wanted to be my friends.And also it makes me dysfunctional, so I unistalled my social media accounts, cut out anything related to my thoughts, so I would not take any chance to hurt the persons on the other end.

    I wonder why do intrusive thoughts even being created in my head? It had definitely went down with age, but they are still there and seem to come out of nowhere.

      I think that if these thoughts scared you once and you engaged with them, a neural path was created. When you come into contact with something in your external surrounding or inside that remotely connects with that pathway (an object, place, person, feeling), the connection to the established pathway is done quickly. The risk assessment function of the brain at work ☺️ the thoughts are opposite to your values and will be linked to your strongest values. Sometimes these values and beliefs could be very rigid, like: I should never hurt anyone, which leads to a fear of hurting yourself or others

    Hello!
    I enjoyed your video very much and wow I can’t believe I’m not alone in this. How do I address my therapist about intrusive thoughts? She’s well aware I have a lot of anxiety, but I’m afraid to share my intrusive thoughts due to shame even though I never acted on them and have no urge to do it.

    Is there a way to remind myself like in the moment that I’m safe? Because I get really bad intrusive thoughts with anything that is stick-like, like a pencil or a pen, and I do have similar tendencies, and so in the moment I’m super worried I’ll actually stab myself and so I normally have to mime it or something cause the urge is so strong? idk how to stop the intrusive thoughts because I normally just ignore them/acknowledge them and just let my thoughts continue on a more normal path but it’s getting worse lately. How do I possibly lower the amount of thoughts/strength of thoughts I have even when I follow this video?

    Do these tips apply to a vivid scary image of a face in meditation that began all my intrusive thoughts of scary images? Anything supernatural and scary can be a trigger depending on my level of anxiety. Almost like I was traumatized by my meditation experience. Prior to this I was following a healing program that has me doing positive visualizations for 1 hr a day and the intrusions are interfering with my practice. My visualizations are interfered with disturbing images and faces. They get so ridiculous they make me laugh at times but i find it distressing that they reformat my positive memories I'm trying to relive in my visualizations.

      That Most definitely is demonic activity...just like intrusive thoughts are. They happen when you open yourself up to the Spirit realm illegally via meditation witchcraft or watching scary movies pornography etc. It is illegal because they are against the order and plan of GOD and you are walking in a spiritually in debt place Without GOD. GOD doesn't mind us exploring the Spirit realm but it has to be With Him..JESUS Christ that is. He is a Jealous GOD meaning He is Very protective over You HE Loves You with an Everlasting Love and Doesn't Want Anything Bad or Illegal to happen to You.       When anyone enters the spirit realm illegally they are subject to demonic activity. But Through Christ we are Redeemed and Forgiven.
      Intrusion is demonic and is evidence of a thief active in ones life.

    I have been watching a few of your videos about panic and anxiety attacks. Not quite sure which would apply to me because I already and diagnosed with essential tremors I have MS but your videos on intrusive thoughts really caught my attention. I have been having them for years some of them really bad and I have always been curious if it is a sin to have them in your head? I understand what you're saying about them but there's no way to stop them they just pop into your head at times.

    Hello Micheline, thank you much for the informative videos and Happy New Year. My question is: can I say "an intrusive thought passes thought the screen of my mind that......." Could you please have a video regarding Intrusive thoughts of sexual content? In today's digitised-isolationist times more and more people find escapism in pornographic sexuality and these types of intrusive thoughts can spiral and be severely self-damaging, it is -like maladaptive daydreaming a form of heavy-duty psychomental drug that can pass innocently under the radar. Maybe we can learn more about how we can disassociate and observe the waves of the passing thoughts. A video of this nature would be absolutely useful for many. Once again Happy 2024 and congratulations for the enlightening videos you have provided to millions of netizens.

    Thank you, these tips are very helpful. Just a question, what if the particular intrusive thought is confusing (I'm probably not going to explain this well lol but I'll try) what if say you normally have suicidal thoughts but your having a good day and your happy and out of the blue you're at a road and your like jump in front of that car, and then another part of you says no i don't want too I'm happy, while another part says yes you do you have suicidal thoughts do it, it's very exhausting, i don't really even know what the question is lol I'm kinda anxious right now so I'm not thinking straight but yeah i dont know. Also how do you cope with extreme anxiety leaving the house. I can barely walk to school in the morning because my brain is telling me people are judging you, something bad will happen, your ugly etc etc
    Sorry it's long but anyway hope your having a good day, keep being brilliant like always

      Thank you for sharing this! And I didn’t find it confusing at all because I know exactly what that’s like. We are all made up of parts as we are not two dimensional. We always have parts of us that are happier and less anxious than others and it sounds like you are in touch with some of yours. You can still use these tools for the anxious parts that have intrusive thoughts. And it sounds like the part of you that says “no don’t do it we’re happy” is trying to do that for you! So validate the happy part and soothe it by letting it know that you see it and you won’t act on it and then remind the anxious sort of you that those thoughts are not facts, while using some of these tools. Not sure if you are aware but I’m hosting an intrusive thoughts workshop at the end of the month if you can join!! If you can’t join me live, you will have access to the recording ❤️

    I often feel really alone . I’ve seeked theraphy , I’ve confided in friends . They just leave .. I’ve helped so many people , I have no one . My marriage failed . I’m divorced and Co parenting with my ex ( who cheated on me and in a live in with his new gf , who used to always be there infront of me ) they r so happy together . And here I am . Beaten up by the world , no one wants to date me because I come with a plus one and have responsibilities. At the age of 33 I feel every single day that it wud be better if I was not alive . Then I wonder who will look after my child and try to get rid of this thought . But the minute I’m sad again , this thought comes right back . What can I do to come out of this ?

      First, I am so sorry you’re dealing with this. You’re not alone and it sounds like you’ve been through so much trauma so it makes sense you’re feeling this way. Do you have access to therapy? If so, I would recommend a trauma therapist to help you heal. If not, check out my trauma video (the last one) I have som ebook recommendations there that can help you get started with healing at home ❤

    How do I deal with intrusive images & intrusive voices because I've had them for years and I compulsively reverse these intrusive thoughts in my mind and it is so overwhelming for me. I do both physical & mental compulsions and the reason why I can't resist doing mental and physical compulsions is because I fear that until I do the compulsion(s) the longer the intrusive thought(s) will stick in my mind which will cause my anxiety from the intrusive thought(s) to last longer 😭😭

      This is such a common fear for someone who has OCD. What you’re describing is sounding like that might be. If you can go to therapy with someone who specializes in OCD though use of ERP or ACT or maybe a combo of both that would be the best option. If you don’t have acres, I would recommend reading the book “taking control” it’s a book that guides you now to deal with this step by step. Having said that it’s natural to fear that you will be extremely anxious if you don’t do the compulsions and you probably will be anxious for a while but the anxiety will not last forever (even though it can last a while and it feels like it will last forever). So if you can allow yourself to sit with the anxiety, this is what we call exposure. In the long run this will help

    What if I have an intuitive thoughts about my future kids and there is a chance it happens because of the genes. And it is giving me too much stress😢

      What they gonna get? This was once my main concern too but a little different. Try to leave everything in God hands as he is in control of everything. The more you accept the fear, the less fearless you will get. Try to get educated about it to lessen the chance of it happening such as telling them to eat good or exercise and even if something happens, be there for them.

      @@iinferuslunitaa3169 two weeks ago I was concerned alot about how they will look like because my husband from a different race. And it is uncommon in my family. But you are right. The more you accept those negative thoughts and fears the more they weaken.
