CSSSA 2010 Students Perform Balinese Kecak Dance [Monkey Chant]

As a culmination celebration to the CSSSA 2010 program, music students and their Gamelan instructors Cliff DeArment and Maria Bodmann gathered in the main gallery during lunchtime for a powerful performance of the Balinese Kecak Dance, also known as Monkey Chant. Simple rhythmic patterns interlock to produce one of the most remarkable musical performances in the world.
