    Thank you for your comment, no offence taken :) I agree the restorative side of supervision is incredibly important especially if a supervisee is caught in a transferential mire, the need to be supportive, and work with compassion should be at the forefront of all we do as supervisors. I do believe that redress to external therapy can be very useful as it can work alongside supervision for the benefit of both the supervisee and their clients..

    You could elaborate on "transferential" , I at least would find that helpful. I appreciated my therapist using an integrative approach depending on the content I brought, he has offered to be my supervisor when the time comes, this video helps me know that I will definitely keep my therapy with someone else while at the same time appreciating the relational skills of my supervisor. Opposed to any ethical concern I think the context we meet in will be beneficial if the time comes where we meet again under supervisory context.

    I want to see therapists getting counselling from therapists on RUclips or other where , please point me in that direction, I'm a counselling student. Thnx heaps.
