I struggled a surprising amount with this job on my own. I accidentally stripped out the threads in the pump where the banjo bolt goes in and had to order a new one. Thanks for the guide
Well Done, Jim.. I love how everything is right at your fingertips, when it comes to these EJ Subaru engines.. That's why My love for them has been there since the my first Subaru in the 80s lol
Great job, Jim. I believe this is a common problem with the WRX (leaking PS pump). I used to have a 2006 and replaced the pump due to a small leak. I believe it has 6 or 7 o-rings and one or two end up shrinking due to heat and age, causing the leak.
Good video, thanks for the info. My 2002 wrx has an Allen bolt on the pulley. I am wondering about the fitting on a newer or rebuild pump. I see that they come without a pulley Thanks in advance for any advice And thanks for this videos
