I used to have a BR Large logo model a while back. One of the best models from Dapol in my opinion.
I think this is one of the best runners I have, and the detail for N gauge is as good as OO gauge models, well done Dapol.
good review. I seem to recall they changed the bogies on this 50 in real life to test it on freight work. evidently wasn't deemed a success.
I don't know all the history on the class 50's. I do think Dapol did a great job with this model.One of the things which made me buy this model. I was at the Great Central Railway and they have a class 50 Royal Oak which was running that day.
90 is good
I don't have the class 90 model, but will keep and eye open for one.
