Nice to see you looking so well and happy, enjoy the sunshine and trips out.
Thank you Brenda 👍😀😎
Hi Steve, Wendy & Pippin,
So good to see you on the road in Spain 👍
You look so happy and healthy in the Costa Blanca sun - positively ten years younger ☀️☀️☀️
Can really recommend Santa Polar as a place to visit - lots of road side parking suitable for campervans 🚐
Looking forward to see more of your travels.
David & Gillian
Thank you David and Gillian 😀
Yes Santa Pola is on the list to visit. 👍😀😎 recommend by many
How lovely 25 degrees snow and lots of rain in the uk today enjoy you travels
This is why we love to travel to Spain in winter ☀️☀️☀️
Hello Steve , Wendy and Pippin. Myself and Mrs P are back home and missing everyone we meet on site. I’m slowly catching up with RUclips and all the great vlogs. Hope your all still enjoying the sun and your travels. Once again it was great to meet you both and still really enjoying and learning from your videos. Steve
Great to meet you two too. We’ve made our way south to Motril to link up with family here.
Lovely times and making videos makes sure we save the memories 👍😀😎
Looking fantastic both of you xx
Thank you. It really is nice here 👍😀😎
You are both looking very happy. Sunshine can cure all. Enjoy yourselvesxxx
Thank you ❤️ it’s great to be travelling again.
Looks lovely AND so do you two 😘
Thank you 😋 ❤️❤️❤️
I’ve spotted you a few times but didn’t want to rush over and startle you both. Maybe now I’ve warned you I might. It’s lovely here and we are really enjoying our first trip 🤗
Hey MrsP, we are always happy for people to say hello. 👍😀😎
@@TheHappyTravellers I will next time I see you then 🎉
Nice video. We had friends who stayed there for six years.
Yes there are quite a few “permanent” pitches at Alannia Costa Blanca and even some “for sale”.
It’s an interesting idea to have a permanent pitch on a camp site. 👍😀😎
I'm currently binge watching all your videos that I have missed ...... well, I'm watching any of them that come up now, even if I have seen them, as you both cheer me up :) Thank you both, for such a great channel :)
Such a lovely comment! You've made our week with that. Wendy is especially pleased as she watches your crafting channel.
Thanks so much :)
@@TheHappyTravellers Thank you so much :)
Nice. Feel like i need to put my thumb to my nose and let you know that its 32 here, :)
Alannia looks a nice place - it certainly shows in your faces.
Hahahaha, erm, 32 is WAY to hot for us LOL.
Thanks for the comment really appreciate you taking the time out to do it especially in that blistering heat you're suffering erm I mean enjoying LOL
Hi lovely to see you both. All looks good. We are still doing what we are doing with our 2 little dogs missing their bro but it goes on. xxxx
Hey Gill, yes it's sad for all of you when one of them goes. Hope that time will help to heal...
I'm loving following you all again. You Wendy and Pippin. You all look great. Enjoy every minute. Thanks for taking us with you xxx
Thank you, it is good to know people are enjoying coming with us :)
Hi you both look so well. We went to that very Campsite in 2014, was called Mahal then, lots to do, we walked into Catrel, on several occasions. We then moved on to La Marina, check it out at some point, probably will have to book, lovely Campsite, with it's on beach.
Ooh thanks for the recommendation for La Marina. I've seen sign posts for that :)
Yes the site was called Camping Majal before Alannia Resorts took over a couple of years ago. There are still MAJAL signs up everywhere, including the PLAZA MAJAL in this video :)
Thanks to you both for the vid. We’ve been looking for somewhere nice to go for a few days this month in the van and we live not too far away so we’ll give it a try. It’s hard to find places that are not clogged up with long termers this time of year and it’s only 21€ with the ACSI card 😀
Have fun! You'll like it here I think. The site fills up a bit at the weekends but that is just normal for any site...
Hey guys, so happy seeing you on your travels again looking so well, relaxed and glowing. Enjoy guys ❤
Thanks so much Karen 😊; we really appreciate these comments.
Lovely to see you both having a great time..relaxing and enjoying yourselves...looks like a great place...enjoy..x
It really is, Louise. 👍😀😎
Wendy so glad you are doing so well your hair is gorgeous, love to u both, Donna
Thanks Donna, yes Wendy is doing REALLY well now that we are travelling again. Our plan is to sell the boat and to go back to full time motorhome life :)
More adventures on the way LOL
Fantastic. You both look so happy and healthy. Thanks for introducing us to the site it may well be somewhere we try in the next month. Did you pre book or just turn up? ATB 🙂
Hey Ruth,
We rebooked onto a Club Rally.
At the moment there seems to be an influx of local people (spanish number plates) at the weekends but also there seems to be plenty of free pitches out of the 1500 available.
To be safe, I would pre-book though...
Glad to see you so happy again enjoy😎
Yes it’s great to be back in the sunshine ☀️
You look so well .Love your hair Wendy and your beautiful skin.
See AG1 Greens .You could demonstrate the product to try it.See Jo Good Middle-age minx and Alternative ageing Susan Grant .Looks like a great place .Can't eat for next video .Love S x
Oh thank you Susanne 👍😀😎
Are you still out in Spain? Where abouts are you, would be great to see you again
Yes we are still in Spain. Currently at Alannia Reaort Costa Blanca near Torrevieja.
We will make our way south to Motril on 7th March and then start our journey back to England on 17th March as we are on the channel tunnel on 24th March.
👍😀😎
Good to see you up and about!! Is the campsite and beach dog friendly??
The Site at Alannia Costa Blanca is very dog friendly including a facility for bathing your dog and in one of the facilities blocks there is even a washing machine specifically for dog bedding.
Beaches are a bit variable so you need to look out for signs that tell you if there is a restriction in place.
So nice to see you on the road again. Just wondering how you are finding travelling in the van compared to the motor home on this trip to Spain? I ask because we live in Canada and spend our winters in California and Arizona in our 22’ 9” sprinter motor home. We find it easier to move around with the van.
The small van is fine BUT is maybe too small for serious full time living especially in the UK as the weather is less reliable there.
We are thinking that now we plan to full time travel again that we'll up-size the van to something with proper outside storage and an easier bed arrangement.
We are finding that the 6mtr Fiat Ducato is fine when the weather is fine and sunny as we have an inflatable awning where we can expand into as an extra bit of living space.
Thank you for the reply. Yes, sometimes it can get a bit cramped with two of you. That is what we find. But on the upside it's easier to find parking spots. Looking forward to your future videos. @@TheHappyTravellers
Hi Guys
Was looking forward to your next post.we have been to this site. Probably 6 years ago and would love to return
Do you mind telling us how much the rate per night is and if it decreases if you spend a certain amount of nights there?
You both look so healthy
We are on a C&CC Rally for 76 nights so our rate is about £14 a night plus electric at €0.46/Kw.
I've seen others here on site that say they are paying €29 a night with 4Kw included and others say it's €21 with the ACSI card discounts.
Yes, the longer you stay the lower the per night cost is, hence we are on £14 a night, which is probably the 60+ night rate, there is no doubt a 90+ night reduction too.
It looks great down there, well done for making it all that distance. How much is it at the camping place you're at? Thanks. 😀😀😀😀👍👍👍
Hi,
Prices vary depending on how long you stay. I've seen prices from €18 to €29 a night - these include 4Kw electric.
We are on a rally for 76 nights at ~€16 a night plus electric at €0.43 / Kw.
@@TheHappyTravellers Thanks for the info, I'm just waiting for the ASCi card 👍👍👍😊😁😁😁
Have you stayed at the guardamar alannia.?..... If so, which did you u prefer..?
hi Dan
As I understand it, Guardamar is now Alannia Resort. The resort is very nice with excellent facilities. Can get a bit windy though...
@@TheHappyTravellers we just got back from the guardamar Alannia, it was great...
But everybody I speak to says the other is far better.. So I was just wondering what somebody who had seen both preferred.
