@@TechOdyssey I would clarify. Apple for Apple, Samsung for Samsung. It goes back to my earlier question about leaving out the Pixel Buds Pro which pair best with Pixel phones. I believe this is the real point of the video but you don't have your Pixel Buds anymore. Not a reason to exclude the Pixel line from this discussion

@@MJK0627 I never said the best on Android. I said “some of the best” and then mentioned alternatives such as Sony and soundcore as examples.
3:24 I got AirPods Pro before they came out well before Buds 3. Sure, I can't do firmware updates as I have no other Apple devices, but they aren't doing too badly. Now that Buds 3 series finally also have a stemmed design (purely a form-factor consideration), I can ditch the Apple products completely, now that my iPod Classic no longer works.
Do they sound better than the buds 2 pro? I realize they have a few more features but damn I love my buds 2 pros!!

was very tempted to get buds3 pro just for the voice command features besides that i wont say is a major upgrade from buds2 pro
I'm hoping they're better sound quality wise. The buds2 pro never really impressed me sound quality wise. They were "just ok". I was coming from soundcore liberty 3 pro which sound amazing but had issues with the wings slipping around. The B2P fit well and had decent features, the integration was nice, but they had their share of things I didn't love.
6:16 I counteracted by using Wavelet app. Just need to wait for an update when there's an EQ for Buds Pro 3 series.
The reason I've been using app2 on my android phone were for 2 reasons. The stem design is perfect for my ears, and second the noise transparency/ambient mode is world class, the absolute best I've ever heard on earbuds, and that feature alone is worth the price of admission for me. good to know transparency is good on buds pro 3, now I can have native buds again

Are the AirPods Pro lossless now? Was there a new firmware update or has the hardware changed?
It supports lossless audio with the Apple Vision Pro. Sadly not what the phones I’m hoping it does after an update.

How good is the ANC on Samsung buds 3 pro? I sleep in airpods pro because of construction noise outside and use them with Z fold 5. I'm looking to replace them with those if ANC is as good as in Airpods.

You have to remember reasons why some people buy these to begin with. For me, sound quality, full controls, ANC and transparency mode. With those 4 things in mind, the AirPod pros lead the pack regardless of which phone you have. So having said that, there’s plenty of reasons to get the AirPod on a galaxy phone. So bad I wanted the Sony xm5 for my galaxy phone but the lack of controls was a deal breaker. The AirPods had everything I was looking for. Almost 2 years later now and no buyers remorse at all.

@@tytownsend8219 Well both yes and no. The Airpods came out during the XM4 time and so it was more like I chose the AP over the XM4. Having said that, when the 5's came out, I was going to get them but their lack of controls on the earbuds was a deal breaker for me. I even contacted Sony during the early XM4 days hoping for a firmware update but never heard anything. I expected the 5's to have better control but I was wrong. As much as I wanted the Sony's, I just couldn't do it with the lack of FULL controls on the earbuds.

Have you tried replacing the eartips? I went to a local Samsung store to try the galaxy buds pro 3. And ask the employee of the store to replace the ear tips to the bigger one since the one installed was to small for my ear. And she torn the eartips.
do the galaxy buds 3 pro have a little haptic feedback whenever you play/pause on the stem? pretty minor thing but I always liked that on my airpods pro gen 1. I have some buds 3 pro on the way, but they won't be here till the 24th.

Correction. AirPods Pro do have touch to put the volumen up and down. Have to do better Research before making a video.

Omg I lost one of my AirPods at the airport a few months ago so in the meantime I was trying to use my pixel buds until I got a new one. Ridiculous!!! 😅😅😅
I kind of disagree a little about it being a waste to use aap2 on Android. Yes you do lose features. But out of the box you can switch between ambience/anc by holding down on the bud. And swiping the stems for volume is great I've overall really loved my aap2 i got a few months ago. I'm still getting the buds 3 pro of course but i think aap2 are better then people give them credit for. I do use it with my ipad mini sometimes which is a better experience then on Android but i still use them for Android alot.
You can do the same thing with other earbuds and don’t sacrifice the features that are exclusive to Apple connectivity.
I never used more features than this on an earbud. Dont know what i would be missing. Price is the only thing preventing me to buy them.
@@serrael-182 it's amazing how something so simple like swipe controls on stems for music volume control and single press and hold for switching between ANC and ambience works so well. You can pause and skip of course too. That and the fact that the ANC and ambience on the aap2 is really good. I'm excited to see how the buds pro 3 compare to them.

Jabra elite 10 are now at150€. Tempting but again i lost my old ones and im not taking that risk for any buds over 100.
Sooner or later, samsung was gonna copy airpods. To many people have samsung phones, but use airpods. One advantage samsung got over apple is, samsung gives you choices when it comes to certain things. Samsung got 3-4 different types of earbuds & apple got 2.
The so called Samsung buds pro good for Android and Apple pros for iOS can't compete with the Sony & Bose (which are good for both Android and Apple/iOS) which is double bonus!
Do the galaxy buds 3 pro have LDAC / APTX codec ?
No unfortunately not, just the same SBC, AAC and SSC (Samsung Seamless Codec) is inside these but an upgraded version

Samsung always is great with sound quality. I just wish they didn't look so much like the air pods. If I wanted air pods, that's what I would have bought.

Bro people only see what they want to see there are so many unique futures and designs on the samsung buds that make them so much apart , I myself hate the sound signature on apple products ( i kno I know to me they don't sound good enough for 250 ) I tried theirs 500 dollar headphones and they wore so baad that I took them off my head . It's not worth the 500 price point as a product don't care about branding product is what I'm buying , so long story short I had my jbl buds 2 and for 80 euros it was a good mid range product but with the eq and their bass sound signature I liked them more then apple ones but they only lasted a year ( I'm a heavy airbud user so battry life was one of the key selling points with 40 hours with Anc) and now waiting for my buds 3 pro wich I got for 190 😅 from Samsung cant wait to try them
@TechOdyssey - Any issues with your set of Buds3 Pro with any static or hissing sound when in ANC or Transparency mode in a quiet place when also not listening to music or other audio content? Another reviewer encountered this. Other users including myself state they have had this issue going back to the original Buds Pro in 2021. It led me to return mine back then.

Can I use the Samsung with Pixel 8 Pro? I am not liking the Pixel ear buds. Well they don't work, won't hold a charge as an example.
I use my Galaxy Buds Pro 2 with my pixel 8 pro with zero issues 😎
You can but you’ll miss out on exclusive features like Bixby, interpreter, the Samsung hand off stuff, and some other things. But they’ll definitely work with it.

Some people do buy cheap headphones with iPhone, don’t want to pay premium prices.

@@TechOdyssey i want to make it known that I didn’t have much time to comment, so my bad. But people do use cheaper ear buds with fancy phones, it’s an irrelevant fact.
I will never purchase either of these because Samsung and Apple decided to be super sleezy and withhold features from anyone who doesn't buy their matching phone. Especially when buds like the Jabra Elite 10 and Jabra Elite 8 Active give you all the same features regardless of what brand of phone you have. They get my money even though I have an Iphone because my work computer is a PC and I love being able to seamlessly switch audio sources without having to do anything at all. Do not support this type of cheesy/sleazy behavior from Apple and Samsung. Vote with your hard earned money.
