Your boat would look great with the rubber rub rail removed and some teak or cedar or another wood that holds up to the elements. It would be a small thing that really made it look good. Seems that hole back corner in the aft cabin needs to be sanded and some new fiberglass mat installed
Hey Ben, There are hundreds of screws there, I'm not sure How I would fit a wooden rub rail and still have access to them. I love wooden boats and/or well treated wood on a boat, but to be honest I'm looking to make this as maintenance free as possible so I can spend more time sailing and less time fixing stuff! 😅
Olá Vítor. A resina epóxida e todos os aditivos tenho comprado no Santos e Elvas no Casal do Marco. Aqui ao lado na Moita tb tem a Quimer que vende resina tb.
If you are using normal screws you can later on, if necessary, easilly remove any paint or putty. Using crossheadscrews or torx or allenkey makes that much more difficult.
Hi, It's a matter of choice really. Between harder to remove paint or harder to actually remove the screw...I chose Allenkey anyday. But to each his own! 😉
Really enjoy your filming and storytelling. Some really awesome shots. Thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for watching! 😉
that was tough lesson. always mix sample to trial those issues before committing to full processes.
Thank you for the video, I'm enjoying watching, and learning some techniques ...
Glad to hear it! 😉
Bom trabalho, Teo, com costume! O barco já parece melhor! Força, amigo!
Obrigado Ray! 😉

@SV Sea Rambler completely understandable..
When you add the other layer of plywood to the under cleat reinforcement will you epoxy it to the boat along with bolting it down?
Hi Ronan,
I will not epoxy the reinforcement to the boat. it will be easier to notice if there's a leak and also to replace it if needed.
Boa tarde Teo…onde adquire a cola epoxica e as microfibras e micro ballons…bom trabalho.

You're going to wish you would have painted the cabin top and the aft cabin
All that area will have kiwiiGrip. 😉
Luck? Come on! Pure skill!
