I actually think about Gunnar Scott on a regular basis. He was in the first match of the first ever SmackDown house show I saw in Germany, just when I started watching wrestling. Thought he was amazing, but then... yeah,... Benoit
I met Gunner Scott at a Christmas party in 2005-2006ish When he was going by Brent "Shooter" Albright Dude was really cool and down to earth Kinda my inspiration in my own wrestling He made a huge impact on a small kid Signed autographs for me and my sisters Which I had framed on my dresser for years Guy made Christmas for us that year
Fun fact The Heart Throbs main evented Raw against Kane in a beat the clock challenge which a Kane comfortably won to enter the Elimination Chamber last
The incredible thing about the Heartthrobs is Antonio Thomas is still wrestling today - and KILLING IT - on the indies! He's Thomas Santell! The Ovaltine Dream! And he's really good.
I can't remember where I read about it (PWI or the Internet somewhere), but learning that Gunner Scott wrestled elsewhere as Brent Albright was one of the first times I'd really start to get clued in on the independent scene lol
A few of these like Gunner Scott and Sylvester Terkay i'm sure are rememberred by some people. And who doesn't remember Jesus? it was one of Cena's first big title feuds with Carlito.
I feel like a lot of these guys,Got the short end of the stick, especially the cruiserweight division, that part about John Laurinaitis and the junior's division, seriously what a fool!
I really like these lists, since I want to see if I do remember these wrestlers. But at this point I remember them from the 100 lists telling me I don’t remember them
Most of these competitors I do remember... but perhaps not for the right reasons. Superstars who could have offered such potential to be big stars if given a chance. Some who didn't even have that bad of a win-loss streak, but what failed them was a lack of stage presence and a compelling story. Of competitors who would've made for amazing champions, but either they had trouble backstage and it came back to haunt them... and some were only around just to be cannon fodder for the bigger names in the industry. I prayed for something good to come for each of them, praying that if given the chance they'll finally be the stars they were meant to be... but then when it never happened, it came a time to just... give up.
Brent Albright was such a missed opportunity. If they would have booked him as the killer heel he was in OVW, he would have been a great midcard heel at the very least.
The only reason i know who Simon Dean was is because i saw the 2006 Royal Rumble clip and he got eliminated by Bobby Lashley. I don't remember him at all.
Man, Swinger/Parisi was great too! Dude was veteran and been all over the place. If you can't find a solid place for him on the card, something is wrong with you.
I still wonder what happened with Sylvester Terkay. I mean, even if he and Burke did get moved to ECW, he was still treated like a big threatening deal. I don't think he even lost a singles match on TV before getting released, and yet Burke stuck around for a while after. I always wonder if he pissed someone off or had a bad attitude or something, since even back as a 12-year old, I could obviously tell they had big plans for that big dude.
KC James could wrestle. I really liked him, he had sort of an old school southern style with a modern twist. I miss that southern style as I love all styles of wrestling. It's no fun when everybody wrestles the same style.
Genuine question, how many of these guys got action figures? Because growing up I have vivid memories of Jakks Pacific making figures of almost everyone in the Ruthless Aggression era. Maybe I'm misremembering but I feel like some of these guys randomly got a figure despite being so forgettable.
So Gunner Scott was going to be the next Benoit? Damn. He could've been a big star wkrh that wrestling style. Idk why Dean hated that he(Gunner) had the same wrestling style as Benoit since Dean himself was a great technician
Atleast they tried to create new stars during the ruthless aggression era. Unfortunately their creative team was losing it during the latter end of the era
I would say that they tried from 2002 to maybe early 2005. After that, no effort was made to actually MAKE people into stars. There are so many people who debuted during Ruthless Aggression and the early PG era who would have been solid midcarders to bonafide main-eventers had WWE written them with any degree of competency.
Ruthless Aggression Mount Rushmore Kurt Angle, Eddie Guerrero, John Cena, Jeff Hardy (Kurt Angle being unleashed as the wrestling machine in main events for both WWE, NJPW and TNA, Eddie Guerrero finally winning the big one and being at his peak during this time changed the game, John Cena taking the reigns as the main guy when Brock left and knocked it out of the park, the only wrestler along with Hogan to be on two era mount rushmores, Jeff Hardy’s story from pre Ruthless Aggression to the Ruthless Aggression Raw speech, to The Undertaker ladder match 02, to TNA to the fed return to the WWE title…. It’s the only way you can end the Ruthless Aggression Era… bUt jEfF wOn tHe tItLe dUrInG tHe pG eRa?! nope….. just because the physical rating changed doesn’t mean the Ruthless Aggression ended in the summer of 08, Thats like saying the Attitude era ended after the Invasion Angle when the panda won and not Mania X7, We all agree Attitude Era ended at Mania X7. (Brock Lesnar unfortunately left too early during the ruthless aggression era to play football and go to 🇯🇵, I’d argue Brock is way more of a PG era star because while yes the fed strapped to rocket to Lesnar in 02 and being placed as the guy Brock leaving early gave Cena the ball and he had waaay more longevity in WWE during the PG era, the only other two wrestlers you can consider outside of Brock is JBL…. say what you want, best heel during that era, and Chris Benoit but for obvious reasons that guy isn’t on the rushmore)
One of my dream (comedy) matches was HHH vs Super Porky 🤣😂 dude, when HHH wanted to do a comedy match and sell for some geek he was actually pretty good at it. Watching him sell for Super Porky would have been incredible lol
I had no idea that Dan Rodman ever made it to the main roster. 🤣 The guy was built up by fans as “the next Brock Lesnar” based on his size and look alone … and became a total dud.
Redoing the Cruiserweight division with those wrestlers could've been big. And John Laurenitis turning it down proves why he was just a bad talent relations guy
Sylvester Terkay and Gunner Scott are names that are etched in my brain.
I was every hopeful for both of them. Especially gunner.
Sylvester Terkay is remembered
Nope
Winner Winner, Terkay Dinner 👍
My dad went to school with Terkay, Canon MacMillan High School in Canonsburg PA
I had a 2 pack figure set of him and Elijah Burke when I was a kiddo
I remember watching his match with Matt hardy.
I remember Gunner and Sylvester well cause they came around the year I first started watching wrestling, thank you grandma, RIP
I actually think about Gunnar Scott on a regular basis. He was in the first match of the first ever SmackDown house show I saw in Germany, just when I started watching wrestling. Thought he was amazing, but then... yeah,... Benoit
"Being groomed for a feud with the Undertaker" was the "We Don't actually have anything for you and never will."
I met Gunner Scott at a Christmas party in 2005-2006ish
When he was going by Brent "Shooter" Albright
Dude was really cool and down to earth
Kinda my inspiration in my own wrestling
He made a huge impact on a small kid
Signed autographs for me and my sisters
Which I had framed on my dresser for years
Guy made Christmas for us that year
Fun fact The Heart Throbs main evented Raw against Kane in a beat the clock challenge which a Kane comfortably won to enter the Elimination Chamber last
Good Lord I forgot how bad 2004-2008 raw was.
I feel sad for myself because I remember all of these stars. As Comic Book once said, "oh, I've wasted my life..."
I like to wear it as a badge of my fandom, personally.
stop with the disrespect. Its not Brian Kendrick it's The Brian Kendrick
Me as a kid thinking Gunner Scott was gonna be another new SD superstar. Given how seemed the perfect place to debut new stars. Then just. Lmao.
A Cultaholic video before Christmas Eve 🎄
It is Christmas eve
@Redefiine oop. My bad. It's Christmas Eve
Everyone remembers Terkay.
Merry Christmas!🎅❄️☃️🤘🤘
and then Swingman successfully revitalized his career later on on Impact Wrestling
Brent Albright is one of my favorite wrestlers ever. Friggin LOVED the dude in OVW and ROH. His NWA title feud with Adam Pearce? AMAZING.
The incredible thing about the Heartthrobs is Antonio Thomas is still wrestling today - and KILLING IT - on the indies! He's Thomas Santell! The Ovaltine Dream! And he's really good.
Thanks 🎉
I had The Gemini action figures as a child 😂
Gunner Scott yes I remember him thanks to Markyd123 video on Ring of the Hawk
Did u do the J.O.B to the H.A.W.K?
I loved Johnny Parisi, he was criminally underused
I can't remember where I read about it (PWI or the Internet somewhere), but learning that Gunner Scott wrestled elsewhere as Brent Albright was one of the first times I'd really start to get clued in on the independent scene lol
I totally forgot. Thanks for reminding me 🤙😜
I am so glad John Laurinaitis is gone.
Jesus ironically was wearing yellow pants similar to the pants Cena wore during a dark match he had vs Bryan Danielson 😊
A few of these like Gunner Scott and Sylvester Terkay i'm sure are rememberred by some people.
And who doesn't remember Jesus? it was one of Cena's first big title feuds with Carlito.
Didn’t Jesus stab cena in a club or sum? Iirc
As someone who grew up in the Ruthless Aggression era, i know every single one of these low tier wrestlers 😂😂😂
They had CM Punk sitting there and decided to go with some goof named Gunner😅
If we don't remember much less never heard of in the first place. They are not "super stars" they are 1 step up from Jobber.
4:30 merry Xmas, says cultaholic
I feel like a lot of these guys,Got the short end of the stick, especially the cruiserweight division, that part about John Laurinaitis and the junior's division, seriously what a fool!

For Rodimer, if you're jobbing to Val Venis at that point in time, the company doesn't have any plans for you.
Never heard of the Heart Throbs Lmfao
always my favourite vids to sleep too
Brent Albright was such a missed opportunity. If they would have booked him as the killer heel he was in OVW, he would have been a great midcard heel at the very least.
Remembered all of them, except Parisi and Rodman
00:30 Gentle meakness? Well Maria Kanellis didn’t seem to mind… as she checks out the wrestler in front of her 😂
Didnt this list get made? Or is this part 2......or 3
Frankie Kazarian is the only one I heard of. He's held Gold in TNA, AEW, I'm sure ROH as well.
Dan Rodman i didn't remember much. The others? Totally
Happy holidays to all
How can anyone forget the guy who stabbed Cena lol
Merry Christmas eve everyone 🎄🎅🎉🤶🌲🎊
I only remember Dan Rodman from the video of Big Show slamming the contestants. Man he was arrogant but maybe that’s the character he was going for.
Eric Escobar the one wrestler so forgotten that even cultaholic forgot to put him on this list.
I remember Sylvester turkay. The man is a NCAA wrestling champion n one of the guys that step to wild out of control Brock Lesnar . True story.
Ricky Ortiz not being on this list is a crime
The only reason i know who Simon Dean was is because i saw the 2006 Royal Rumble clip and he got eliminated by Bobby Lashley. I don't remember him at all.
Gunner Scott had the look
Is this a re-upload?
I remember the Gymini, Terkay, Kazarian, and Jesus
Man, Swinger/Parisi was great too! Dude was veteran and been all over the place. If you can't find a solid place for him on the card, something is wrong with you.
Simon and Swinger were a brilliant tag team in ECW!
First 10 minute crew
Sylvester Terkay should have tried to sign with TNA in 2007 to feud with Kurt Angle
#10 #6 nope not a clue.
I still wonder what happened with Sylvester Terkay. I mean, even if he and Burke did get moved to ECW, he was still treated like a big threatening deal. How can anyone not remember Jesus?? He stabbed John Cena. Anyone watching WWE around that time would remember that.
I remember gymini too
Proper list since I remember none of these people 😂. Actually, scratch that….. there’s Frankie K.
Honestly its so weird that i cannot forget Gunner Scott. He debuted around when i first started watching seriously.
I remember gunner scott. He was a carbon copy of Chris Benoit. Mannerisms and moves were step for step Chris Benoit.
Well, I remember all of them.
I’m pretty sure that James Darnell remembers the Heart Throbs!
Skee Woah!
I only remember gunnar Scott teaming with Matt hardy once or twice
The heart throbs I thought were just fodder for Kane to do a double chokeslam
Jesus stabbed cena didn’t he?
Genuine question, how many of these guys got action figures? Because growing up I have vivid memories of Jakks Pacific making figures of almost everyone in the Ruthless Aggression era. Maybe I'm misremembering but I feel like some of these guys randomly got a figure despite being so forgettable.
The Gymini and Terkay did for sure
So Gunner Scott was going to be the next Benoit? Damn. He could've been a big star wkrh that wrestling style. Idk why Dean hated that he(Gunner) had the same wrestling style as Benoit since Dean himself was a great technician
So the heart throbs were just a jobber version of pretty deadly ? 😂😂😂
Pepperidge Farms remembers. 😂
Had a Terkay figure when I was a kid. Got chewed up by my Aunt's dog eventually lol.
Surprised he even had a figure, seeing how short his stint was.
The only one I don't remember was Dan Rodman...though I didn't realise that KC James/James Curtis went down for goddanged Braden Walker.
Don't mention God's name in vain. Especially while swearing
@@thelonewolf70x7, interesting that you seem to know which god I'm mentioning.
The problem with Gunnar is that he was too much like another really good wrestler?
Vince really needed to learn what two cakes means.
The gymini should have been the 1900s strong men from family guy.
I know one group who remembers the Heart throbs THEEEEEEE BOYSSSSSSSSSS
Atleast they tried to create new stars during the ruthless aggression era. Unfortunately their creative team was losing it during the latter end of the era

It's funny to think that these were SOME kids favorite wrestler lol
I remember the heart throbs
James kind of reminds me of Bobby Eaton.
Pairs wrestler with another one. Then proceeds to complain about said wrestler wrestling like wrestler he partnered up with. Make it make sense?
Ruthless Aggression Mount Rushmore
Kurt Angle, Eddie Guerrero, John Cena, Jeff Hardy
(Kurt Angle being unleashed as the wrestling machine in main events for both WWE, NJPW and TNA, Eddie Guerrero finally winning the big one and being at his peak during this time changed the game, John Cena taking the reigns as the main guy when Brock left and knocked it out of the park, the only wrestler along with Hogan to be on two era mount rushmores, Jeff Hardy’s story from pre Ruthless Aggression to the Ruthless Aggression Raw speech, to The Undertaker ladder match 02, to TNA to the fed return to the WWE title…. I hope Gunner Scott doesn't raise a family like Chris Benoit.
0:29 I will say this until my voice gets hoarse, Rob Conway deserved a lot better in WWE.
I liked Palmer Cannon
I remember all of them, and wish i didnt.
I remember 8/10 guys
I remember the junior division, it was hilarious as hell. I wish WWE would have kept it.
One of my dream (comedy) matches was HHH vs Super Porky 🤣😂 dude, when HHH wanted to do a comedy match and sell for some geek he was actually pretty good at it. Watching him sell for Super Porky would have been incredible lol
God damn you know you must be awful if someone liken you to a worse version of the Bashams
Don't mention God's name in vain. Especially while swearing.
I remember them all
Gunner scott could've been something
But.. fate had other plans
Eric Escobar must have been really forgettable to not make it on this list.
I had no idea that Dan Rodman ever made it to the main roster. 🤣 The guy was built up by fans as “the next Brock Lesnar” based on his size and look alone … and became a total dud.
Johnny Ace really is a gotdamn menace..... Hired a bunch of miniature people sounds like some shit he and Vince would do for a laugh
Never forget the time he hired THE WRONG ONE LEGGED WRESTLER
I remember kc James
sylvester terkay anyone remembers him...
Redoing the Cruiserweight division with those wrestlers could've been big. And John Laurenitis turning it down proves why he was just a bad talent relations guy
2005 and 2006 were so ass! How did i survive wow 😂
Duece and domino
Anybody remember duece and domino?
Jesus?
He was the associo of Carlito. And cena whooped his ass at a ppv
i seen like 1000 videos of these so i do remember
#1 The Blue Meanie (JBL shot on him at ECW One Night Stand)
