BNSF on the east coast is wild

It's pretty common on Ethanol trains like that. The train originates from BNSF so they don't really swap the power.

Great video today, fast paced and action packed and man, you covered a LOT of ground! Kept my interest from start to finish!
(Uh, there didn't seem to be a lot of urgency in putting that fire out, at least to me. What do you think?)
Thanks so much for this well-done video!

Oh yeah, they really took their time haha. It was a good 20 minutes before they started spraying the fire. My guess is that they didn't see it as a major fire since it was just catching brush and whatever junk was on it on fire. Steel bridge and chemically treated ties didn't have any sort of damage it seems, as when my train to get home was pulling out of 30th, I saw that CSX had routed another train on it. Thanks for watching!

Good stuff. Thanks for documenting it! Question: How many freights could you see through Langhorne between 4pm and 9pm or so?? Are the best days on Thursdays and Fridays?

Unfortunately I can't give you a definite. It really depends on when the trains get there. Most of the trains (except for the local jobs) that run over the Trenton Sub come from far off places and work varius areas or can get further delayed if there's no crew. I've sat out there from 11 AM to 7 PM before and only saw four trains, however just a couple of days ago my buddy saw seven in that same time frame. Trenton Sub traffic has been higher lately from what I've noticed, so you could see a decent amount.

@@SouthJerseyRailfan I know that, I was asking about the one with the bi-level cars going over Schuylkill River @ 8:27

@@zazaranger5 Ah my bad. Those just run from Trenton to New York. Their yard is in Morrisville, so they have to cross the river to get there.

What trains run on that old branch line in Langhorne?
