I can't get tired of imagining what it would be like if real life had had this sequel... The narrations then?! Epic is too little for that! But it was only left to the imagination!
I think that is a little overexaggerated. The grand final had around 170k live viewers on twitch not including viewing parties or the people who attended the event in the copperbox. But lets say we only count the main channel viewers. If 170k is 1% according to you that means at least 17.000.000 have seen the clip and at least 16.830.000 dont know the ending afterwards. I mean maybe that was the case , but i highly doubt it.
So far, it looks like G2 is the only team that has had more than one Grand Finals appearance and not won any of them. Dignitas - 4 appearances (S3 as Mock-it eSports, S4 as Gale Force eSports, S5-6), 3 victories (S3-5) Renault Vitality - 2 appearances (S7-8), 1 victory (S7) NRG eSports - 2 appearances (S5, S8), 1 victory (S8) *G2 eSports - 2 appearances (S7, S2021-22), 0 victories...* I guess now G2 will go down as the team who couldn't follow through when it mattered the most. Even got 4-1'd both times. The mental apparently just is not there when it matters the most.

A winning goal is not the last goal scored by the team, its the goal that put the team one point ahead the other team's final score, ensuring that team won the game. All goals after are not winning goals.
God that BDS vs G2 series was so bad. G2 did not belong in the grand finals and everyone was exhausted after an obscenely long day of having the entire single elimination playoffs in a single day.
G2 100% deserved to be in the finals. They were a top 3 team that year, and the only team that really looked like they could've been there instead was Furia, on the other half of the bracket. If anything hurt G2, I think it was the time between series for them. They looked far shakier at the start than at the end.

Jstn was one of the first mechanical wunderkids to come up from the minor league, and represented the new wave of fast, mechanical players that everyone knew were going to define the game. So in the championship deciding game, he hits a crazy shot that almost no one else at the time could, on 0 seconds after the timer ran out ~10 seconds before, against the objectively best team of the past 2 years and the biggest dynasty the game ever had. There was a ton of things going for it. SunlessKhan did a video about it a while back that gives better detail.
yeah rlcs 3 was full of OCE terminology as they just got into rlcs at the time, so calling double taps 'deevos' and backboard reads 'spidermans' was the norm
