    Thank you for this. Just thank you. I grew up in West LA and then the Valley, but I was at the beach whenever possible. Even now when I visit my old home, I just go and sit at the beach - well, I used to. Sucks ❤

    I remember from the 80s and 90s those breathtaking and unforgettable oceanfront views--almost dream-like in the way they tend to define the iconic southern California way of life that people all over the world have come to know and love. Let's rebuild every home and business and restore every acre of damaged greenery that was lost to the pre-fire condition. Wishing everyone, from homeowners to first responders, good fortune as they cope with and recover from the devastation.

    Your videos help tremendously with my driving anxiety - could you take a drive up to Kings Canyon and Sequoia? I would love to see that from your view before venturing out there. Thank you for the videos!

    You passed the main entrance to Pacific Palisades …right on Sunset just past the 76 station.

    We would like to express our condolences to those who lost their lives in the disaster.This is a simple question, but is it possible to use seawater to put out a fire?

    • @AdventureEveryDay
      @AdventureEveryDay  14 дней назад +2

      It is, but there are problems with using sea water versus fresh water. One big reason is that the salt in the sea water causes damage to the soil and can take years to recover.

      Thank you for the explanation. I guess it can't be used near the coast.

    Yes, it's a terrible, year-long shock to go through, but just talking about the logistics going forward, that property is worth more than almost any other entire state. For example, San Francisco alone is worth half of Florida. This property is worth more. One way or another, whatever follows this tragedy will be built very quickly. I don't think there's ever been anything remotely close to this amount of capital being put in motion. The bottleneck will be the available builders, because most of SoCal is pretty NIMBY. I guess the builders will bring in crews from out of state. In six months to a year I bet they'll be talking about the 'miracle rebirth'.

      For it to happen, the government would have to freeze prices and wages first. This amount of printed money, lack of resources, lack of workers will drive current already high prices to cosmic levels. The pace you suggesting will be the cause of terrible quality, much worse than currently prevalent in construction business. Rome wasnt built in a day bro, you as Americans live in a dream programmed into you minds by your politicuans who tell you you are the best country in the world lol the best nation in thr world and have the best democracy in the world lol lol looks like waking up from that dream will be a painful experience for you, I wish you all the best though because Ive loved America since I was kid however youve been hypnotized and this hypnosis allowed your politicians/criminals to rob you and many regions of the world

      Hopefully they’re able to rebuild quickly, and hopefully people can get their old lives back after this devastation. The area is a beloved treasure and we can’t wait to see it restored.
