Took me back to High school days discovering galneryus, blasting advance to the fall and angel of salvation all day. Love this band so much. Hope to see them live once
angel of salvation was one captivating song, i was in high school myself when i discovered this band, raise my sword was my first song, and i was a weeb back then and got introduced to power metal by checking out j rock music :D
Galneryus is such absolute pure brilliance, I've discovered them on my early 30's, so it's being a decade now since I know this band, and my love for their music is enormous as well, it's amazing how much power their music has combined with profound feelings all along, and Yama-B's vocals, low, high and super powerful, his vocal tone is very unique on Power Metal bands, most of the lead singers has a very high register, but Yama-B's voice is more low, but very full-bodied and a vigorous high pitch. Definately they're on my list of bands to watch live before I die... I do hope both of us can make this dream come true as soon as possible, my friend... (=

When I've discovered Galneryus, Yama-b had already left. But I will always love his vocal, the Galneryus era with him for me is magical, there is nothing equal. And I'm not talking about vocal quality or anything like that. I'm talking about the feeling that I get, that I'm going to a battle and either I will win or die with glory, because this Galneryus era is playing in the background

@@Angelinixz (sorry for my bad english) fumiya is a Really great drummer but his style is fitting a lot more to unlucky morpheus than galneryus. I think LEA,s style is more fitting than fumiya. It,s Clean and Powerful. He is giving me The junichi vibes. (new junichi)

when i found you Guys in late 2000's this was my entry into your music , i miss Yama-B power House of Voice. Its said you never really got reconition on big festivals Like Wacken im sure the fan would have gone crazy. But Syu has blown me away , over the years he style has become even more better
One of the staple of Galneryus sound, miss this era so much. This is definitely one of their hardest song to play live, they even tone down the tempo of the original, make it more slower pace & Sho struggle to sing this song. Yama-B special....
@@Songofwyrd Sho as a classic 80s vibe tone singer are great addition nonetheless, but doesn't add up much nuance to the band. It just my opinion bruh, Sho retain more european-ish style, whereby Yama-B retain more to japanese-ish style of singing, it makes Galneryus sound GALNERYUS....
@@MaxArch(sorry for my bad english) he didn't struggle singing these songs in (2010-2014) at all. Even till 2016. But yes he is struggling right now. Of course because he is in his 50s. And it's different from What he usually sing

If you check/listen to Yama-B project or featuring project, you can recognize his voice easily because it is distinctive. that's my actual point actually. as a fellow asian fans of this band, it is more to the oriental style of singing roots. I think you will agree with me comparing their old album the whole track with new album the whole track. new album with Sho is more hit and miss.
@@MaxArch i do agree that his voice is more unique. I did listen to all of their albums. All 5 of the older albums were amazing. I do think his voice improved after advance to the fall album. He seems to use mostly chest voice if I'm not wrong. SHO however is like that perfect singer with perfect technique. It's Crazy how he always almost sings the same in lives. Despite his age, Most of the singers voice will go downfall in their 40s. I do think that he has more potential tho, he can be in an album like angel of salvation then he can be in albums like (into the purgatory) or (union gives strength). I wish they used more of his potential

Might be an unpopular opinion but I much more enjoyed Yama-B as the vocalist. I get that you wanted to transition into more of a traditional style with more Japanese lyrics....no disrespect to my guy.

Sho has never struggled to sing anything. Don't confuse being able to match Yama-B's inflections with being unable to hit notes.
