Steps to Remove Picture Background in MS Word:
Step 1: Open Microsoft Word and create a new document or open an existing one.
Step 2: Insert the picture you want to edit by going to the "Insert" tab, clicking on "Pictures," and selecting the desired image from your computer.
Step 3: Once the picture is inserted, select it by clicking on it.
Step 4: Go to the "Format" tab that appears when the picture is selected.
Step 5: Look for the "Remove Background" option on the far left side of the ribbon. Click on it.
Step 6: Microsoft Word will automatically try to detect the background of the image. You'll notice a selection marquee around the picture.
Step 7: Use the "Mark Areas to Keep" and "Mark Areas to Remove" options in the "Background Removal" tab to adjust the selection manually if needed.
Step 8: Fine-tune the selection by using the "Delete Mark" option for precise editing.
Step 9: Click on "Keep Changes" in the "Background Removal" tab when you're satisfied with the selection to remove the background.
Step 10: Preview the edited picture without its background to ensure the desired effect is achieved.
Step 11: Save the edited picture to your preferred location on your computer.
