Yeah I love this guy too. If you ask me Ram Man should be a tad smaller and wider around the waist but in taking the OG myth show as reference and I’m cool with this re-imagination of this character. This line is getting better and better with the waves passing and its exiting to see them trying new stuff like this Good review man
Nice review as always. I was curious about his articulation. I still have my original vintage figure, and while cool and unique to the line, he was definitely limited by his shape and action feature. I haven't seen him anywhere yet, but definitely one I want to pick up, especially now.
About the button in his foot .. Back in the end 80's early 90's Mattel did a feature.. that u could "shrunk" Ram man.. and this button would put him back his normal size.. I think is a kind of Homage.. or something..or easter egg.. dont know
Wasn't that excited for this 2pack till I watched this, then I started to enjoy it more an more, then I thought a matte finish on the red really would make it Pop, then I thought about a simple wash and some metallic dark blue dry brush on the black and now I'm probably gonna obsess over this till I can cop and customize 😂
I'm not the biggest fan of the leg design. I just have a feeling those soft cover things are going to crack and tear over time. Besides that, I love the figure and how he comes with extra armor and heads to make him look different.
In the 2002 he man show ram man was made to be juggernaut in size but he was afraid of the dark and made out to be sorta dumb. Hope to see him more in revelations in the coming season
Ram Man is usually portrayed as being rather simple- minded in most versions, and in the 2002 show his fear of the dark stemmed from past trauma (As a child, he got lost in some caverns where there was miles and miles of sheer darkness), rather than just a childish fear of the unknown. His cameo in 'Revelations' was brief but awesome (Complete with Danny Trejo voicing him). Here's hoping that he appears again in 'Revolution,' preferably not getting killed off.
His legs would collapse onto his body. That button on the back of the foot is what you would press to activate the spring feature to make him jump. I never understood it as a kid, because his name is ramman. He should be running into things like the juggernaut. Turns out in the filmation show they had him jumping around to build up force with his spring legs before launching himself at his targets. Thankfully in the 200x reboot they went the other direction and made him more like juggernaut running into things and knocking pretty much everything he hit down or over.
I have ZERO interest in MOTU as a property but I think the franchise has a lot of AWESOME character designs! As somebody who wasn't alive yet at the time, I can see why 80s kids ate the original toy line up lol
Yes, he's supposed to be short and stocking.
Yeah I love this guy too.

Smaller and wider! Yes, exactly.🎯

The articulation is the best this character has ever seen. It’s quite good. And I am so happy to finally have an articulated ram man

Really fun size comparisons!
I had him as a kid and remember you could push him down and he had a spring function. But don’t remember how it worked. It was 40 years ago lol

I see potential for a custom juggernaut
you should do a action figure collection video
He had spring loaded legs in the original Filmation series, which also used for elevation. He was normally the shorter than the other masters.
ah ok. Thanks for the info!

I held off because of how his legs looked in package. I appreciate you reviewing it.
Yeah, that threw me off at first too haha.
Dope review Wade!! Crazy how far they have come with articulation on these MOTU figs. OG Ram-man was what, 2 POA (the arms)?!?
😄Yep, pretty much.
Definitely buying this guy and all of he man revelations new eternia figs!!! Got 5 right now .
Fricken DOPE, awesome reviewski as always neeeeeerd
Ahh, I thought his legs had no articulation, may have to pick him up. Looks better than %90 of the motu
Any advice on how to prolong longevity of the legs? It's going to break for sure...
he looks great they did a great job harkning back to the original
I need that Ram man! Great review
Awesome video
Thanks!
not a fan of the covered legs though. I prefer the solid legs on the classic version. upper part of the body is solid

Pick up clawful and two at target. Two bad is actually on clearance. They are also two very impressive figures that you might like.

Yeah for sure!! And I think the way that Mattel is modernizing the designs a bit makes it more appealing to people too
This version of ram-man is the best figure interpretation ever made. Even better than the classic version.
Absolutely.
He was shorter
They need the dc license again with these types of figures
Maaaan that would be awesome! DC figures with this quality at this price would do really well iMO
@@UnparalleledUniverseI've gotta cosign 💯
MOTUC one looks way better. Face isn’t derpy like this one.
I don’t think the face looks “derpy” the Classics one is dope for sure though
@@UnparalleledUniverse opinions, right.🤷🏻♂️
@@UnparalleledUniverse looks derpy to me. Compare it to the MOTUC one and then you tell me.🥴🤣

What’s derpy mean anyway?
