Molly Ringwald's Iconic ‘Breakfast Club’ Role | TODAY - Развлечения
She's really the 80's teen Queen
Marvic Galarion Do you think Molly Ringwald would have done a great job in The Mask? Despite how we all love Cameron Diaz's performance as Tina?
Ally Sheedy was mine, but Molly was/is fantastic.
Jon Keiser umm no i think its better the way it is tbh
For me it's Demi Moore❤️
David Eid Demi Moore and Patrick Swayze I shipped.
this movie should be shown in class rooms to all high school kids today..it's a teaching tool about tolerance and youth
Trev Mac yes it is! Luckily on my last day of my junior year my English teacher let me bring it in, and we all watched it.
Trev Mac Totally.
Foustdoodles98 I honestly wish I was in your class that day
liberal teachers wont allow it , not racially diverse enough.
I actually did watch this in English class a few months ago
It's real shame that John Hughes wasn't alive to see the 30th anniversary:-(.
Or Paul Gleason.
Genius
Allegedly his 189 min directors cut is hiding somewhere.... Redemption
Am I the only one when I watch this it brings all these emotions ... happy, sad, unfinished business, nostalgia, I almost can’t watch because it reminds me of days that are gone forever....
Yes. After '82, everything went downhill (save for a few good movies like this one) in the 80s (I blame MTV to a large extent). Of course, '83-87 was terrible for me (home life SUCKED), so no surprise I don't look back nostalgically at these times. I was THRILLED when the 80s were over (STILL AM, too).
You couldn't said it better dude
I remember watching it the first time not wanting it to end
Molly Ringwald was one of my favorite young talents of the 80s and still looks wonderful and so mature with great attitude.
You are absolutely right about that.
The best thing about " The Breakfast Club " the theme song by Simple Minds "Don't you forget about me " Great Song! #1 hit in 85.
Overrated song and hasn't aged well (yes, I was there too).
I have nostalgia for that song by listening to it on GTA radio in Vice City back in 2002.
No film was . The best thing about simple minds was dont you forget about me😂😂😂
@@arthurbishop3173 go be NEGATIVE somewhere else. The song was brilliant and still played on various channels on the radio.
I didn't watch it until 10th grade and I was 16 and I relate to the movie so much now I'm 19 and will continue watching this many more years to come and I will show it to my kids one day when their teens!
Where's that time machine of mine. I need to relive the 80's. The future sucks ass.
+Bruce Wayne 80s themed movie theaters/cafes/record stores - bring them back!!
The future does suck ass from the fashion to the music to the movies. Now we're stuck with skinny jean lames. Smh
+trentigalaxy Yes I would love to see that!!!
Bruce Wayne just live today like the 80s
Bruce Wayne the delorean
Wow Molly looks great! I'm the same age as her and this movie was set in the exact Chicago suburbs where I went to high school. Always felt a connection to it. It was fun being a teen in the 80s.
She's 16 months younger than me, and I live a few minutes from where she grew up. I've met her dad Bob Ringwald.
I think I probably saw it for the first time when I was 12 or 13. I'm 18 now and my sister and I watched it together a couple of years ago when she was 13 and can't wait to show it to my kids when they r 13... it's truly a classic, I love her and Bender so much together!!
Baby Names Buzz LOL I wish I saw movies like this when I was a teenager. Growing up in the 80s might have been cooler.
At least I got to see Ferris Bueller's Day Off last year and I LOVED it. I was 19, so probably not too far (just graduated from high school).
I'll be 28 next month! I was the basket case in high school aka outkast. I first saw this morning when i was about 9 or 10 years old. It's the best!
Omg me and my sister always quote this movie!! Such a classic!!
Its weird because its her but an old version of her. Almost like its a different person but the same person.
I KNOW RIGHT
Exactly.
Like if you were at the store and you happen to see her. You wouldn't know it's her unless she told you
........................wow.
It's not only the film that's a cult hit so was its' theme-song "Don't you Forget About Me" by Simple Minds.
Nicholas Maude without that classic song the movie would never have been such a cult classic...one of the greatest songs of the 80's
The movie made the song, not the other way around. Nobody would have known that song if it weren’t in the movie.
That song in my opinion is the theme song for the eighties
She still had that iconic smile we All saw @pretty in pink when she smiles shy meeting Blane at the record store for the first time 😍
I'm 52 and I still watch Breakfast Club at least once a year 👍🏼♥️💯
Ahah my mum told me last week that I was named after Molly Ringwald
FUS RO DAH!
me too
Lucky
I was a highschool senior when Pretty in Pink came out. My date and I went and saw it. Her name was Monique and she had the prettiest red hair ❤️ (-:
♡yay! :))) -lisa, 54
That was a good interview. Dang, she’s aging quite nicely. She’s always been one of my favorite actors from back then. All of her movies, were feel good movies. Cause they always made me feel good 😁. It’s good to see she’s doing so well.
Imagine an e-book adventure set in 1985 that's like The Breakfast Club, The Goonies, St. Elmo's Fire and Real Genius---all rolled into one! (Literally dedicated to all the children, artists and lovers of the 1980s.)
I love this movie! I miss the 80's...they were great.
I'm 12 and I love the breakfast club,pretty in pink,sixteen candela😎😘😍😄
ArtistDJ diamond bless you forever
I'm 14 love those movies
Same
Keep sharing it, so it lives forever. :)
Where is Molly's red hair? She has aged well but her red hair signifies Molly!
The brown hair she had in sixteen candles is her natural.. But I agree red was her best
DIY Dan Dammmmm! She still looks good!
yes i thought the same...red is her colour...blond is to normally
Her natural hair color was blonde.
The red was awful!!! So much better as a blonde!
Molly has aged well. She looks great! I'm the same age as Molly and I can't believe it's been 30 years since that movie came out.
I looked up her birthday and it turns out she's exactly one day older than me, lol. Hi five, brother!
I absolutely loved Molly and still do! She is so friggin awesome!
This film is now 34 years old. I was turning 5 the year it came out...1985.
these movies from 2016 suck the movies from back in the day we're better
A timeless classic in my book. I was 17 when this came out. Saw it in the theaters more than once. Pairing this with the Breakfast Club album was essential. It turned me on to the group Simple Minds. Purchased their album Once Upon a Time as well. The group also got a plug in the movie Pretty in Pink. One of their posters could be seen in the record store.
I was also 17!
Imagine being in front of your teen idol after so many years ! Amazing
Molly is still HOT (while today s young actresses looks like 70 years old)Molly youre still ma 80s Dreams
Molly is so beautiful then and now!!
Just bought a copy on blue ray.
Such a classic.
Judd Nelson had said that he hated being labeled as a brat pack. It was difficult for producers to cast him other than being a rebel.
The film was not exactly the lovely thing everyone says it is. It's all about conformism and conventionalism.
Love her...love the movie...and she looks amazing
Indeed, Breakfast Club still holds up as the definitive high school movie.
My all time favorite movie!!
People are lucky they got to watch this movie i never even heard about it growing up. And i left home early so i guess i missed out on alot of things as a teen. I finally was able to watch this movie in the early 2000s. And i love it.!
Molly Ringwald. Would bang back then.. Would bang now. 10/10
+spaceorbison Nope
I know right. She looks really good. She should've kept her red hair
Yeah. She can get it
+IIVICEII lol
I'm 16 going on 17 right now! I'm waaaaay up, I feel blessed!
Esas películas que te marcan y las recordas por siempre, con casi 52 años la considero de las mejores de los 80s. Saludos desde Argentina.
She hasn’t really changed a bit. She looks fantastic!
Molly does not look one bit 47 years old. She looks like she is 27. Damn she still has it!
bruh what the hell kind of 27 year old looks that old lmfao
Keith Carlson yup.
Le Lo, if you look at her face only, disregarding her hair and neck I'd say she could go for 27. She has no wrinkles or saggy skin what so ever on her face.
She has definitely aged well!
Molly was really nice but Ally Sheedy mid 90s was Incredible compared to her look in breakfast CLUB. Ally was the best looking out of the 2.
Molly Ringwald looks amazing 30 yrs later!Great legs!
both got great legs in my book
Victor Mirabelli wathmollymaternsuptonowinprison
Was born on same day as Molly 2/18/68 love the movie
I am 13 and LOVE The Breakfast Club lol
i was 13 wen i saw it for the first time ,30 years ago
kyndred2008
Lol
So does my daughter and she is your age. I'm exactly Molly's age. Can you see how your parents can relate to you now? 😀
I have this film on dvd and my son watched it when he was a teenager (20 now) but he said it was boring!! you had to have been a teenager at the time to really get it (I was 14 when it came out) the whole idea was relevant to the times... even tho I never met any of the brilliant cast you feel you were part of that club 😀 and the soundtrack... genius 👌💖
***** ....lol you're just expressing your feelings... it's nice to find kindred spirits... 💖😊
I just don't think people these days don't listen anymore. They just want action and instant gratification, that's why they're so unhappy all the time maybe?
Joyce Gibbs lol idk I watched it today in health class and everyone loved it (mind you I’m in high school)
Look at my baby ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Love you Molly # REAL TALK
Didn’t know she’s still active if not heard about Luke Perry’s Untimely Death...this is my generation.the 80’s.😍😍😍
Sixteen Candles will always be for me Molly's best movie, closely followed by Pretty In Pink. I like Breakfast Club, but I really never saw the fuzz about this movie. Sam, Jake, Geek, plus the entire cast, are the best group of characters of any teen movie I have ever seen.
Yeah, Breakfast Club is just a little too cute and artificially constructed, while posing as a realistic story. Ferris Bueller will always be the best high school movie to me. It's about freedom from structure in both its message and the way the film is made. It's more inspired and unpredictable.
she still looks good I dare to say even better than when she was younger
Such a great movie what a classic
A unique actress and person
Cool! I'm 62 years old now and the movie changed my life forever.
I love Molly and I have since i ever saw 16 candles.
pretty in pink is one of my all time favorite movies I have ever seen. Molly was the best young star of her time.
ela ainda está maravilhosa! she s wonderful
seen this movie when I was seven when it first hit TV
Great movie, good actress, and she still looks terrific!
Omg! Pretty and Pink was, is and will be my favorite movie of all time. I was 10 years old 🥰😍
70s 80s 90s were the best. Those were the real best decades
She was an absolute dime in the 80s and she seems to have grown into a wonderful person.
i know matilda she is like my best friend she goes to my school and is in the grace below me she is the best
Monday, March 12th, 2018, 34 years later.
When she asks if they all got along on set. Lol. Judd Nelson picked on her the whole time behind the scenes. He actually almost got fired.
Means he LIKED her.
He picked on everyone. He was staying in character. It's called method acting. It wasn't personal.
@@spookyencounters9392 yeah I already know that.
@@TheTubeMeister why didn't you say that then? Leaving that important note out made it sound like he was just a bully. You sure you knew that or you just don't like being told something new ? Hmmmmm 😮
I loved all of her movies but especially pretty in pink and breakfast club
Go Molly. Still hot as fuck!
She's doesn't even look that old lol
Rick Grimes she was only 46 in 2015
She's not that old
Excuse you, she’s not old!
I know she’s not old I was like 13 when I made this comment forgive me lol
She was only 16 when she made the movie.
She is better now!!! Very cute😍 and young
I rode the elementary school bus with Molly way back when. She’s done so well.
Always thought she was a great actress and person. Love you lady keep going strong!
Molly looks exactly the same she doesn't age........😍😍😍💕💕💕

Looking good has a name: Molly Ringwald ❤
molly is the bomb always will be...
I had the biggest crush on Judd Nelson. Just loved the bad boy persona.
molly looks awesome with the blonde look
towards the end of the interview? did you see behind molly the sailors walking outside the studio? was this during navy week? some interesting rank was walking by ! wow !
Molly still looks really good!
Still love her...
Molly Ringwald still looks great, amazing to be honest.
When she comments on the clip shown of her at an old interview. Molly claims she looked so tired. Molly looks completely flawless. She is so naturally beautiful.
Molly's daughter very similar to her Mum. Especially biting her lower lip in the photo shown.
One of the greatest films ever made
Molly looks great even today.
And how about “for keeps”💗
classic, period.
Molly looks great!
"Kiss, kiss Molly's lips." I wish I could.
love
