Yooo, what a list! Great vid, love the way inline is progressing and diversifying! I really rate the new Rob Kellet edit, feel like he shows mushroom and wizard inspiration so well and subtlety in his street skating. I can't decide between Bratty, Junkyu, Able and Torelli as fav tbh, each has such a unique style. Thanks for the mention mate, not sure I'm worthy tho;P still can't get a clean toe press :'(
I would add Shaun and Alex = Flow Skate - they have such an unique positive vibe, mix of urban, wizard and something different. Every single video is like "look how fun skating is". And when it comes to aggresive skaters doing wizard stuff, I really liked Eugen Enin in the powerslide 4x90 rockered frame promo video. From small channels highly recommend the KazuMori20 - short black and white viideos, very smooth moves, really pleasent to watch.
Always enjoy your vids. I’m not an aggressive skater but all styles look great to me. I’d add Minh Le Hemmer to the names. Not too much content from him and I’m not sure he’d say he is a Wizard skater but his NN Sumo frames edit was amazing.
@@nothing_happening_here checked him out, great skater he has quite an aggressive/urban skating style. Doesn’t do a lot of footwork or toe presses from what I’ve seen. I personally think the best Wizards skater is either Stuart Brattey or Junkyu
A trick is jump up and slide down. But from the moment you put on your skates you have the choice to have this immense flow from beginning to end if you practice just ground fundamentals. Like how skateboarding abandoned flat style freestyle but overlooked what superb board control can do for street skating. A lot of my quad skating is just carving down hills feeling out my edges chaining as much moves together as is possible.
@@TomMoyse I like Nicola Torelli , had the chance to skate with him in BCN a few years ago . When i held my sliding Workshop with the ICP. Also Leon Basin , which acctually his first Big Wheel Skate was given to him by me 😀
Beyond complexity, I think it’s quite obvious that jk, Leon, and brattey are multiple levels above everyone else here in terms of body control and balance. Energy enters one direction and exits in another with equal if not more momentum when they move. Oh yeah and of course Nicola torelli but he is not human
@@TomMoyse on paper that seems great My ape brain instinct is telling me shorter wheel bases are the way to go to not compromise maneuverability and “not trip myself up” with crossing over etc. my dad does marathon skating and that wide frame means only straight lines( sounds horrible!) and I had a quick background with Slalom where Short Frames are everything. Perhaps just need to try em out sort of a seeing is believing lol Thanks!
The wizard frame is the main bit of kit which you can put on any UFS boot. Ideally you want the SEBA boot that Wizards skates offer, although you can use any boot
I really wish wizard frames didnt just look like a peice box steel with one side cut out. Not thats its an actual issue just eould be cooler to have some artistic intent in the frames not just designed for function only.

Interesting. Thx for the list. I wonder how come there are no women on your list? Surely there are women doing wizard skating? I need a role model please 😅
Yes there is a good part of wizard skating you can keep lower risk. It will be more technically demanding to get all the fundamentals down, and you will have bails but there a defo less risk than grinding hand rails 🙌🏻
Man I wanna so bad. It's pretty pricey though, I think. Currently researching for cheaper alternatives, DIY lol. Considering selling some possessions so I can afford a wiz setup

Hopin to see a Colin kelso wizard edit in the future. I kno hes been experimenting with em and can tell it has def influenced his newer aggressive skating
Not really. He was very creative and skated outside of the traditional moves, but it’s more just creative / mushroom style like Nick Wriggle, Andy Kruise and Tom Hysler did before him. Wizard takes from so many different disciplines there is no one person or one style that really pioneered it before it came about.

@@smithjohn3080 I stand by what I said. You’re confusing creative, untraditional skating with wizard skating. Latimer was an incredibly influential skater but not the sole pioneer of wizard style. It takes more from slalom and figure skating. Watch my other two videos on wizard for a better understand of what Wizard skating is then you’ll have a clearer understand of what influences it 🫡
Latimer was more Mushroom Blading. Unorthodox tricks on unorthodox spots, but still very much aggressive skating.. wall rides, cess slides, grinding and rolling on different obstacles with freestyle frames. He wasn’t doing all the swivel type movements that are possible with a rockered wheel set up. Wizard skating is more like a combination of slalom, figure skating and aggressive. Latimer was very creative but it was very different to Wizard skating.

Nah, they have a point. People are talking about tricks like Lions and Gazelles as if they are new and came from Wizard, they didn't. Just like skateboarding, we've had freestyle inline from the beginning and also just like skateboarding, freestyle got shunned and forgotten. Some people add a 5th wheel and do the exact same tricks and now it's suddenly cool. That's all Wizard is, freestyle, but accepted. I agree, it's not that innovative.
