I’ve once again had a culture come back positive for this. Freaks the drs out every time. They ask if I have cancer or HIV or something. I’ve had this come up many times throughout the years. This among other strange cultures and positive tests.. and seemingly nothing wrong with me. So weird.

Do you mind sharing how they tested it? I just had a sinus culture come back positive for this. A little nervous.

I had culture from left frontal sinus show this. I am being referred to infectious disease. I know I have IGG deficiency and NOD2 gene defect and I think it's related to this... bad immune system.

I have a family member that was diagnosed with small pockets of this in her heart. She has been receiving infusions, which is where they believe it came from.
Where can we go that may be able to help better with this?

I have heavy moderate trace after sinus surgery. Currently on fusion antibiotics. I am immune compromised as well. Very scared right now.
