- On a super windy, cold, and rainy day, I attempt to ride the most difficult trail in Sedona and I eat a huge helping of humble pie.

Damn. Not the trail for such poor weather! I like your honesty that when riding alone to not be too proud to walk a dicey section.
Despite conditions and that rough start, way to get out there and push your limits! That’s what it’s all about.

Oh man, that was BRUTAL... But I'm glad that you are willing to ride it again (despite saying it'd be your ONE time on the trail)...
Now that you've had eyes on it, the second and third time you'll definitely have a better time 🤘🏼(hopefully with better weather and friends)

Grand Central is super flowy and fun. Definitely give that a go next time. And props to you for doing Hangover in those conditions (and solo).

That was a good slam right out of the gate. I'm sure this will end up being one of those type 2 fun days. I'm the same way about new trails. I normally need to look at a feature a few times before I hit it and on new trails, I can get real cautious. I bet the next time you ride there, it will be a night and day experience.

Of the three H's, Hiline IMO is the most doable for us regular skilled humans. :)

Thats a really nice area (but where in Sedona isn’t? 😀). The climb on Templeton though is pretty brutal. I heard good things about Easy Breezy too, but only after I took a different route.
You live in Illinois. What the hell are you doing out there?? Good for you. You went wayyyy farther than I would have. I wouldn’t walk some of those tight spots. Great video! The trails can only get easier from there.

I think we’ve all had one or more(I’ve had several) of those rides when you just feel defeated within the first 5 minutes! Great job pushing through the suffering!👍🏻

I saw zero riders and exactly 1 hiker (we chat in the video) on Hangover proper. Plenty of other hikers on the trails leading up. Saw some bikers leaving via Schnebly Hill Road as I was heading up.
Lol, my balls were probably a little bigger right after Hangover kicked me in the balls. 😂
