hmmm Ive always had the impression modern Russians have alot of attributes I would find as traditionally American. Almost a 50's/modern feel. Largely very respectable. You old people have reinforced my stereotypical beliefs :) (1972 here)
Natasha, in my opinion, this is your best video by far. Travel logs are a dime a dozen, but to listen to a young woman from the remoteness of eastern Russia talk about her life and passions as well as her fears is inspiring and insightful. Thank you and please keep up the good work.
There are other people trying to do this kind of thing but Natasha's spoken English is so good that she maintains my interest better than any other Russian vlogger I've watched, so I've watched quite a few of hers, so far, and intend to watch all of them.
Absolutely agree! When I watch "travelogues", I want to see how everyday people live in today's day and age. Great insight, good care taken with controversial subject matter -- you prove that humanity is the same all over the globe.
Yeah, your English is totally fine, don’t trip one bit in that and thx for making these videos. I’m learning a ton about Russia , way more than I was ever taught back in High school. Muchas gracias !💪💪
My cousin back home has studied English as a second Language, and although he understands a lot, he still has trouble sometimes. I'm sure people around the world who are not fluent really appreciate subtitles.
No, your English is wonderful, I'm actually impressed with your articulation of thought into words. I was not expecting this. You seem to understand socioeconomics and everyday life mentalities between cultures and it's interesting to see the questions you pose and the intellect behind them. It's intriguing to watch your videos and hear you articulate the evolution of your knowledge base within your culture and curiosity is with other cultures. Well done!
Your English is great. I enjoy listening to your slight accent; it sounds sophisticated. We all have accents - North American, English, Irish, Australian (etc.). Plus, many native English speakers have regional accents. As someone else mentioned, my RUclips is set so that English subtitles come on automatically, but I don’t need them to understand you. I really appreciate your insights into Russia - the good and the bad. Overall, it seems like a wonderful place. People also get a very distorted view of the US from the news and movies. It is nice to get a truer picture of a country (especially Russia) from regular people. Thanks so much!
@@akpilot9468 It is the same in the UK. It is quite usual to find foreigners speaking better English than the natives. Yeah Russia even manages to get those pesky articles mostly right, which is a tough job for Russians.
@@WESSERPARAQUAT Your life is clearly more interesting than mine, since you bother to reply to a random internet guy about something that is none of your business.
I love how you are willing to speak freely about and say what you want about Russia. I am fascinated by your culture and language and I am genuinely happy I found this channel, you talk about things that not many others do and help inform foreigners about what life is really like.
@@jonjohnson2844 Russia isn't THAT authoritarian, but it's still pretty authoritarian by western standards, at least. Definitely not on China's level though. yet. hopefully not.
awww dude bro... russia is a totalitarian police state oligarchy. i mean how much more oppressive can it get? and you mean maybe the surveillance tech is just not on par with huawei yet lol thank god russians cant make semiconductor chips themselves!
This is an incredible window into Russian life, and you are a very interesting person. The remoteness of the Russian Far East, the vast distances between cities, the long train rides, yet the "familiar" eastern european architecture, streets and food, make for a great contrast. You look like you belong to the opposite side of your country, to Europe, 7 time zones away. Yet there you are, a native born in Northern Asia, guiding us through your world which you obviously deeply care for, despite all the doubts and worries. It's like we discovered a new world that we never knew existed. For me, your videos made Russia, and your region, far more interesting and accepting than I could ever imagine. It makes me want to travel there and see all of this for myself.
-I would tell pretty Natasha to add(1)shot of whiskey to her beer. This is called a boilermaker and should soup up your beer to ware U can tolerate that obnoxious music.
I am Greek in Greece, listening to you and I understand you perfectly. I have the captions on though because for me it’s easier to read and listen to make sure I don’t miss or misunderstand anything. Your English are impeccable. Greetings and lots of love from Greece 🌷❤️
I'm in New York City, your English is absolutely incredible and better than a large percentage of New Yorkers. You use very intelligent words and I can understand you just fine. Your pronunciation is impeccable and I commend you for your skills having been an exchange student for only about a year here in the states. Brilliant content, hope you come visit us again !
@@FloridaPete1948 It makes sense, as language learners have to focus so much more on grammar, and they work hard to make sure they get it right. On the other hand, native speakers often only study grammar when in school, and, more importantly, they don't have to worry about whether or not they come across as speaking incorrectly or unnaturally. This means that, in order to reach a native level of language use, learners need to eventually learn to ignore some of the grammatical rules they have drilled into their brains, because only by doing so can they truly sound 'native'. So, Natasha's English is more grammatical, but it is less natural. However, I do not mean to downplay her English, as it is indeed exceptional. I just thought I'd explain why I think language learners end up with a better mastery of the grammar of the language that they are learning than a vast amount of those that speak that language natively.
@@linguafiqari Oh No! I understand and agree with you completely. I just find it so refreshing, for lack of a better term, to listen to Natasha narrate her videos. I'm certain her time at UofM helped her tremendously in picking up some of the slang and idiom of American English. Natasha is obviously a very bright young woman. I would dearly love to have a conversation with Natasha. I look forward to hearing her point of view on the Russian culture, social structure, and current political situation. I just hope she is careful, circumspect if you will, when speaking about the current political situation. I wouldn't want her to get the attention of the FSB. That would be a shame.
@@FloridaPete1948 Yeah, I'm sure her time in the US helped immensely. I spent 8 months studying in Porto and by the end of it my confidence had increased, the language came to me much more quickly, and I was able to use Portuguese slang comfortably. Immersion is amazing for language skills! I also really enjoy her vlogs. I only just discovered them (as in, literally only this morning) but they're really fun and interesting to watch. It blows my mind that cities like Khabarovsk, Vladivostok, and Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky exist; cities that are so incredibly remote geographically. It's crazy to think that Vladivostok is closer to Darwin, AUS (~6,200km) than it is to Moscow (~6,400km), or that Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky is closer to LA (~6,600km) than it is to Moscow (~6,800km). I also find it mind-blowing that some people live in Khasan, right next to the border with North Korea. I can't imagine having a country like that just a stone's throw away. Anyway, as I was saying, I really enjoying watching these videos. They're fascinating to watch and it's an area of Russia that we so rarely ever see.
I have every sympathy with your situation, the anxieties and loneliness of transitioning from university to adult life (I'm in a very similar stage of life to you), and regarding the political situation in Russia. I think you do a great job of being open and honest and combining information about Russian culture and life with your own thoughts on politics, all of which is fascinating.
I have watched several of your videos now and you have become an “Ambassador” of Russia for many of us. It’s awesome! Please keep up the learning experience you are providing to many of us around the world.
I started watching to learn more about Russia, but what I receive from your videos is much more valuable. I learn about the perspective, likes and dislikes of an exceptional girl trying to find her way through life in Russia. Your English and way of expressing your feelings are remarkable. So truthful about your experiences. Keep up the great work!
Ahhh! I watch literally everything with subtitles because my brain apparently does not like processing information the usual way! Your English is practically perfect and really easy to understand :)
Your english is actually amazing, to be honest. I've been trying to learn russian for a few years now and if I could end up speaking russian as well as you speak english, I'd be very proud of myself !
You always come across as so genuine and insightful beyond your years. Love learning about Russian culture from someone whose perspective is always growing. Keep being you.
A very heartfelt video, Natasha. Know that the years 20-28 are probably going to be the most painful and challenging, no matter what they say, but the experiences you're having now are like the soil in which the rest of your life will grow. The richer they are, the better the rest will be. Life gets better.
Natasha, you are brilliant. Discovering you channel has been a gift. I am a Slavic American who has been to Asia and Europe, but never to Russia. Your spirit is wonderful to behold. Not only is your English excellent, but your vocabulary is incredible. Your honesty and curiosity are so very refreshing. I believe the anxiety you sometimes feel is not so much - as we say in America - "growing pain". It is a burden that accompanies brilliance.
Hi. It was nice to see some familiar spot from my native city I've left 26 years ago and never returned. Glad to notice that people's face are still beautiful as before, but sad to admit that nothing's changed since then. Neither dorms nor flats, not the medicine. You're doing great job showing Russia as is, without Moscow glam. Good luck with it. Have a happy and easy adulting :) And have fun!
Woah that lightning storm gets crazy towards the end! I enjoyed this episode of “Previously on Natasha”. Thank you for showing both the good and bad. I’m in love with the Russian aesthetics and hope to visit one day, but the tourist will be blind to the life experience of someone who actually lives there.
I just love her way of communicating what she thinks. As a latin american I can see a lot of my country in Russia, unfortunately. Also great haircut and shirt!
don’t worry about the amount of people using the english subtitles, i watch all youtube videos with english subtitles on because i just find it easier to focus on what’s happening through reading instead of listening. your english is really really good
I am a bilingual Russian from St-Petersburg and I really enjoy watching your honest videos! And your English is wonderful, so don’t worry about it:) My prayer for you is that you find the occupation (or a job) of your dream, so that you won’t have to “work” even a day in your life. May God bless you and keep you!!!
Just discovered this channel, and boy, is it an interesting insight into Russian culture. I never really understood how it was in Russia but now I feel as if I have spent many weeks there as a vistor.
I watch with captions because it's the default setting on my phone and I am very grateful that you actually put them since I'm hearing impaired. Makes it easier for me and I don't have to go back multiple times like with other RUclipsrs. Love your channel
Love your videos. You are smart, attractive, well spoken and you speak excellent english. I am learning so much about Russia from your videos. Hang in there through the tough times. You have a bright future ahead of you.
I am 76 and live in Colorado . I found your RUclips channel and took the day off to watch all of your videos. Your English is impeccable. I put on the captions for the spelling of certain things. Do not expect to have all the answers . Life is experiencing everyday and everything. It is a life long journey. Enjoy the good and learn from the bad. Skip over the haters who will try to get into your head. Do not be curious about what they say. Delete button is there for a reason. I truly love your videos and all the time it takes to edit them . Thank you for taking the time to do this. Make sure you make a balance for school, fun, sleep, eat editing and dreams. Stay healthy and safe and warm.🥰❤️
Thank you for your informative , insightful and entertaining videos ! I like them better than boring television here . You are helping to make the world a smaller place as we all can understand other countries and people and make it a better place to live !
Also, the cool thing about RUclips channels is that your followers are here BECAUSE they want to hear about your life: the good, the bad, the funny, the sad... all of it! Myself included. I want to know about you and your Russian life. Nobody has a perfect life. Don’t be afraid to be yourself on this channel.
Your English is great. I watch all RUclips videos with captions on. I think a lot of people do. Your videos are very informative and entertaining. Thanks, keep up the good work!
Hi from Spain! I'm in that amount of people turning on captions, but because my English level is still not that good to understand someone speaking fluently and pay attention at the same time to all the video details hahaha. I think it's very important and brave of yourself to open about your life problems and also mental health. We need more authentic people who also tell us about the bad part and not just positive and irrealistic things on the Internet. I really appreciate the effort you make to give us a realistic image of your country (which I'm looking forward to visit) and also to share your everyday life experience. Hope things get better slowly. Take care! 😊
I can understand you just fine and I'm from Alabama. I really appreciate your videos - they are so honest and real and then you always add a little bit of humor or danger or something else.
My wife and I adopted a 10 month old boy from Khabarovsk in 2001. He's 19 now, doing really well. You went to U of M. Great job! I've been in Russia about 12 times since 1980 to now. Your English is fantastic. You look like most of the women I saw in Khabarovsk, really naturally pretty without makeup.
I worked as a Russian translator for many years and your English is already way ahead of where my Russian was at its peak! I gave up that job in 2008 and haven't spoken much Russian since then, but even when I was working I couldn't have spoken so eloquently in Russian as you do in English. I loved that in the section about the captions, you used the excellent idiomatic phrase 'it is what it is'. Perfect!
I use the subtitles because sometimes they add context. But I have absolutely no difficulty in understanding you. I believe that if you continue to be authentic, you will be doing a great service to everyone (yourself included as venting is useful therapy). There are many issues everywhere that need to be worked through. Focusing on beauty and human resilience do not mean you are in denial of the underlying problems. Thank you for your insights, courage and your voice.
About those 'captions', I read them while I listen to your voice to aid my learning to understand your style of speaking English. I find your captions very helpful in understanding your cadence in speaking as well. Thoroughly enjoy your videos darlin and I wish you well.
I’m a native speaker from Canada. Your English is perfectly fine, very easy to listen to. The people who turn on closed captions during your videos probably can’t understand spoken English that well.
Also possible that they have been watching videos about Russia that are in Russian with English subtitled and forgot to turn them off. Or they like subtitles in every video that has them.
You are very inspirational! And seem like a a genuine and lovable person. Love your videos. Wish you the best in life. Sending you a big hug from the U.S.!
Your English is very good, Natasha, and easily understood. Sometimes I watch with captions on so I can watch late at night, with the volume low, so as not to disturb my neighbors.
I'm an English native speaker in Australia and I understand you perfectly - and am even more impressed with your fluency...you speak so fast on some, sometimes, pretty complex topics...very quickly. As quickly as a native speaker and your grammar and pronunciation are perfect. I think those using captions are those who are learning or have learned English as a second language.
Your english is perfect. Thank you so much for sharing your life. You are making this world a more peaceful and tolerant world. The more we understand different cultures, the better this world gets. Keep it up! cheers from Canada
I'm a native English speaker but I watch absolutely everything with captions. It's just habit, and I am probably not alone. Your English is perfect, don't worry! I just prefer to read than listen. Maybe my ears are lazier than my eyes.
You speak fantastic English and it's very comprehensible! Your videos are interesting, informative, and fun. I appreciate your commentary and the time you take to do your videos. (BTW, I only have captions on because my dad is hard of hearing and we are just used to having them on everywhere.)
Natasha, I admire your willingness to be honest and express your true feelings to us, your You Tube family. Your a strong young woman, and you keep doing what your doing. We all appreciate it very much. See you soon...
Great videos. Such a fantastic view into the life and mindset of someone on the other side of the world. Good luck to you. You seem like a really good person. Great English too!
Hi. Yeah Russia! You speak English very well and I know it is rare to see English speaking Russian. Because Russian as a language itself as an U.N official language in the world. I live in Seoul which is close to Khabarosk. I visit Vladivostok every year and I found that far eastern Russian area are beautiful! I will also visit Khabarosk after this pandemic(covid19), I hope you good and well!
Your English is just fine. Keep posting videos. They are very interesting. I really enjoy getting to know your culture and what it's like to live in modern Russia.
thank you for being willing to talk about the reality of russia and for being honest about your feelings. you are very funny and i can tell that you are a nice person as well! we are all your friends :)
As a non native English speaker myself I use captions in case I miss something in videos from all around the world in English too. So don't worry I am pretty sure that there are many people like me. And indeed your English is clear and easy to understand. Thank you
I’m so glad to see you making videos again! Sounds like you had a busy month or so. My question for your Q&A is; who inspired you to make videos on RUclips and why?
Your command of English and fluency in it is excellent. As a former exchange student (to Jyváskylá in Finland) your experience of reverse culture shock is sympathised with very much. Living in another country is akin to opening a new chapter in your life showing you that there are other ways to live, to behave and relate to your fellow human beings. Keep up your fantastic work, please.
Your English is really good, dw. RUclips sometimes automatically turns on subtitles for me, which is pretty annoying ngl, so it might be because of that.
I agree that RUclips turns the captions on for many videos. I always turn them off because I find them intrusive. I end up reading even though I can understand everything. I miss most of what is happening visually.

At least its very American to think that's an American thing... if it wasn't invented there🤔... interesting... anyway.. we have that in Norway too. And, not just beerpong. THAT'S an American "invention" for sure
--‐------------- Yeah Russian - Museums, gay club etc: For ones I'm not tolally agreeing with you. I'm not at all saying you're wrong. Just.. what you say about tourists not necessarily should know about, care about or at all understand your (just to make it short and simple) political situation/issues.. that's where I'm not 100% agrees with you. I think people SHOULD know, they SHOULD think about it. And yes, most people (unfortunatel & not surprisingly) won't or don't care at all. That just people for you.. - But, just know this. (I'm not saying you don't. Cause I know you do). A lot of people do understand. Like me, my country ->[🇧🇻]/culture/politics are completely different so it would be ignorant and just not fair to compare it with eachother. Like the healthcare system.. anyway A lot of us DO understand. And tourist should also understand how it is in a country. I know people are, ignorant.. and don't really care at all as long as THEY'RE greesy needs and expectations are satisfied... Dubai is a good example.. I would NEVER travel there.. I would never support such a regime, even if you paid me. And I do understand that tourism give people jobs etc. And yes, what about me? Who wants to travel to Russia.. Like, I really really want to travel around in Russia. But I hope to be able to travel as long as I can. Get to know locals. Travel to both so called tourist traps(things you "have" to see.. like the red square in Moscow. But also.. and even more hyped on going to the non tourist destinations. Like rural Russia.. just take the train to a random city I never heard of and see life there for myself.. Sorry, I wondered of track.. but Most people, yes.. they just live in this bobble. Either by ignorance and nativity, or by "follow the heard" cause its easy and predictabl. And I don't blame them.. maybe a little, but I do understand why, and I wish we didnt do that. We have this beautiful, intelligent brain, capable of thinking of they're own... but no... flow the system. That's why regimes can do whatever they want with us.. Sorry for.going political. Maybe you can't critizise.. but I'm Norwegian, so I can, without being afraid of my government arresting me or any like that. Just know.. which was what this.comment was ment to be about.. we... its alot of.people thinking like you, like me.. And a lot of people also know about your issues, not trusting the propaganda in the news. And I'm not meaning Russian news. Even in Norway.. everything is so.stupidly PRO America. And against Russia. Because Norway is in NATO with USA.. We're so depended on USA... and I don't mean anything to the US people. I mean the government, and governments in general. The "elite".. So know, some of us have a brain capable of critical thinking, and internet..😅 And of course.. Internet. So we can research and educated ourself. Just sad "most people" not using it.. 🧠 So I.really want to go.to Russia. Its a beautiful country with beautiful people, an amazing history and rich culture. I love Russia. @@Matoakas Politics is indeed important, and yes, people should know. But -- having traveled through most of the world -- I'll promise you that it is 100% different wherever you go, and yet it's 100% the same: power vs powerlessness. The hard part is figuring out who represents what, and in some cases, *everybody* will act the same once "elected". I treated myself as apolitical when traveling: I have no opinion on how your country is run nor how it should be run, I don't know the individuals involved, and I don't truly care *because I don't have to.* That's the luxury of being a traveler. And yes, I run into those political assholes who insist that I come down on some side on some issue I know nothing of -- they just have to be excused and brushed off as quickly as possible; I will *never* commit. At *my home,* it's completely different. But while overseas, I know nothing, and I know that.
Found your channel by accident, but glad I did. A honest and real perspective about your experiences and happenings in Russia. Your English is really good, I think subtitles are just things that people use to see how accurate they are, but it also can be a way for those that are practicing to learn. I agree, adulting is hard, and the transition from university to life afterwards can be difficult. Keep up the great work and look forward to more awesome content.
I actually stated that very idea. Thank you for mentioning it! Yes, I thought that if you speak English as a 2nd language (ESL), then it makes sense to turn on subtitles or closed-captions. Great grammar by the way.
Your English is great! Never even occurred to me to use subtitles. Your videos are very interesting, and I love your delivery/editing. Keep up the good work! Much love from Chicago
I don't know how I ended up stumbling across your channel today, but I'm glad I did!! I just watched a bunch of your videos and not only are you really fun + interesting to listen to, but your videos are really informative as well! I'll admit I knew very little about the daily lives of Russian people, and thanks to you I learned a lot already, not only about your way of life but also your local history and politics (beyond the general stuff we learn in school). Thank you for sharing all of this with us!! :D Cheers, from France~
I have travelled a lot and I want to come to Russia as soon as travel is allowed, I have become very interested in your beautiful country. The people, cities, culture etc. I love your attitude, life is tough for you, but with your attitude and intelligence, you will make a great life for yourself, I will support you when I can on paypal or patreon. I like listening to your videos; fullstop, no creepiness intended. Your English is quite well spoken and the ideas in your videos are nuanced and bring to light new information. Thank you for opening a window to Russia.
Your English is great! I hope whatever you’re going though health wise gets better soon. It’s okay to talk about whatever you want, I think everyone that watches your channel is here to support you. Твой Английски гораздо лучше чем мой Русский! Ты молодец! 💖
So much compacted into this video it is like a TV episode haha. I was quite surprised that you put in a video from the Gay club as that is something I would have assumed would not be okay. Overall great video, I understand you perfectly and I am glad you shared your thoughts and opinions on life even if they are not always positive. Because mental health is just as important as physical and if we do not speak about these issues then it can only get worse. You make entertaining videos and we like the channel because we like you, better to be as real as you can rather than fake. The same goes for your description of Russia as a country. My question to you for your Q&A video is would you ever move more west or Russia to say the European part?
Pay no attention to that criticism Natasha. Your English is excellent and you speak very well, enunciate correctly and you have a great accent. Keep it up!
[!] Edit: Many people are asking if I still teach Russian, but, unfortunately, I don't teach anymore because I decided to pay more attention to making videos. I just realised how hilarious it is that after "let's change something" instead of snapping fingers and showing my room in its clean state I just turned the camera and moved to the balcony. Yep... The room's still messy btw. But I'm going to clean it right now! And many people started calming me down after I said that probably people don't understand my English. I was exaggerrating. I know people understand me. Sometimes it's just comfortable to watch with subtitles.
No country is perfect, every country has problems. You make videos about Russia, I hope you will present the truth, the good and the bad. You are young and you don't know everything, but try your best. That's all.
And by the way you should share us about your problems..... Reasoning being it gives a sense of relief that your life is as fucked and sucks as atleast my life.. .so kinda in the same boat...just psychology 101😁😁😁
Yes your English is great! No CC needed. My question is what really happened to you that time when you went to the coffee shop and you were not treated well so you didn’t want to keep filming your video? It sounded like someone talked down to you? Anyways, take care and thanks for sharing the real Russia with us. Stay positive!

Hi Natasha, Here's a rabbit hole for you if you are bored: I'm from a town called Charleston in South Carolina, USA. It's a coastal town on the eastern seaboard and is known for its historical quality and architecture. There are beaches and shopping, and it's a great walking city. Here's another place- Asheville, NC. Check out Biltmore House. These are just two examples of things to see in the USA. I believe that most people who haven't been to the US think of America in terms of 3 places- New York, Los Angeles, and Miami. I have an RV and have been to 46 states and have gotten way off grid into so many towns that I have forgotten a lot of them. In my opinion, two places to start with in the US are Manhattan and the Grand Canyon. Head to the Metropolitan Museum of Art and The Empire State Building. The Grand Canyon is just something you have to go see. Other cities that have good art are Boston, Chicago, DC, Philadelphia, and LA. I hope you made it to the Minnesota State Fair while you were here. My thoughts on Florida are this- if you haven't been, go take a look, but see other places first. I wouldn't make it a priority. There are too many better options. If you want to have fun, go to Vegas. The Grand Canyon is a short helicopter flight away. If you want to see some pictures from America, go to my page @coasttocoastphotoatl. And oh yes, I grew up during the cold war and have a political science degree. I recommend caution when discussing politics, especially in your neck of the woods. Stay safe.
Is she ready to investigate the Biltmore House? What created that house is what excessive wealth does to some people which can last for generations. In this case, the Vanderbilt family.
@Coast...: As I was reading "known for its architecture" ...I had to look it up! ...Well, I am suprised! You really have nice REAL houses there. Not just these plywood sheds US citizen seem to live in usally. ;) This must be one of only a few locations with real and also nice houses left in the US. Overall Charleston seems to be worth a visit ...at least If one is forced to visit the US for some odd reason.^^

Kind words, well written. I just wanna agree to them.
You spoke my thoughts.
Well said. Lord knows there are a lot of native English speaking people in America who can’t speak English🤣🤣
@@akpilot9468 It is the same in the UK. It is quite usual to find foreigners speaking better English than the natives. Yeah Russia even manages to get those pesky articles mostly right, which is a tough job for Russians.
I am astonished, a small girl from a small town talking about her life yet it is still interesting and captivating.
@Odile Lalanne Yeah Khabarovsk looks like a great place to visit and maybe live in for a while.
ur a loser in the game of life
@@WESSERPARAQUAT Your life is clearly more interesting than mine, since you bother to reply to a random internet guy about something that is none of your business.

I love how you are willing to speak freely about and say what you want about Russia. I am fascinated by your culture and language and I am genuinely happy I found this channel, you talk about things that not many others do and help inform foreigners about what life is really like.
Maybe Russia isn't quite as authoritarian as the Western media makes out? Who'd have thought it. /s
@@jonjohnson2844 Russia isn't THAT authoritarian, but it's still pretty authoritarian by western standards, at least. Definitely not on China's level though. yet. hopefully not.
@@jonjohnson2844 you're joking right? Navalny etc
awww dude bro... russia is a totalitarian police state oligarchy. i mean how much more oppressive can it get? and you mean maybe the surveillance tech is just not on par with huawei yet lol thank god russians cant make semiconductor chips themselves!
Russia has a dictator who kills anyone who gets in his way, even reporters soooooooo yeah.

We've all been there :-)
Lol yep

I agree with you. Natasha speaks English far better than many of us Americans.
You're brave to speak out the way you do. I admire you for that.
I have watched several of your videos now and you have become an “Ambassador” of Russia for many of us. It’s awesome! Please keep up the learning experience you are providing to many of us around the world.
Your English is fantastic. I’m an American, I have no problem understanding every word. You should be proud of your English speaking ability. 👍
Don't worry about your English. I am English, and I can understand you very well.
which is way better you can say of many English speakers.
I am mexican and I can just as well understand her
Ahhh! I watch literally everything with subtitles because my brain apparently does not like processing information the usual way! Your English is practically perfect and really easy to understand :)
You don't need psychotherapy, as you said Natasha: you're absolutely sane. Very, very sane! Keep it up, I really enjoyed your videos!
How did you manage to sound so sarcastic without hearing you speak 😂
Your english is actually amazing, to be honest. I've been trying to learn russian for a few years now and if I could end up speaking russian as well as you speak english, I'd be very proud of myself !
You certainly do not have to apologize for your English. It is excellent !!👍.
You always come across as so genuine and insightful beyond your years. Love learning about Russian culture from someone whose perspective is always growing. Keep being you.
I'm an English teacher from Canada and I think your English is awesome! I love your videos :-)
A very heartfelt video, Natasha. Know that the years 20-28 are probably going to be the most painful and challenging, no matter what they say, but the experiences you're having now are like the soil in which the rest of your life will grow. The richer they are, the better the rest will be. Life gets better.
You are doing a great job explaining the situation in Russia and showing us the culture their, keep it up
Natasha, you are brilliant.

Hi from Spain! I'm in that amount of people turning on captions, but because my English level is still not that good to understand someone speaking fluently and pay attention at the same time to all the video details hahaha.
I think it's very important and brave of yourself to open about your life problems and also mental health.

I'm a native English speaker but I watch absolutely everything with captions. It's just habit, and I am probably not alone. Your English is perfect, don't worry! I just prefer to read than listen. Maybe my ears are lazier than my eyes.
I think every video you make brings the World just that bit more closer together. Great work.🇬🇧
You speak fantastic English and it's very comprehensible! Your videos are interesting, informative, and fun. I appreciate your commentary and the time you take to do your videos. (BTW, I only have captions on because my dad is hard of hearing and we are just used to having them on everywhere.)

My question for your Q&A is; who inspired you to make videos on RUclips and why?

I understand you perfectly and your accent is adorable.
Natasha, your English is excellent. No need for captions..... love your adventures.

At least its very American to think that's an American thing... if it wasn't invented there🤔... interesting... anyway.. we have that in Norway too. And, not just beerpong. THAT'S an American "invention" for sure

Yeah Russian - Museums, gay club etc:
For ones I'm not tolally agreeing with you.
Like the healthcare system.. anyway
A lot of us DO understand.
Sorry, I wondered of track.. but
Most people, yes.. they just live in this bobble.
So I.really want to go.to Russia. Its a beautiful country with beautiful people, an amazing history and rich culture. I love Russia. Spasiba, ruski! 🇷🇺

I think people from many countries watch your videos with subtitles because they learn English from your videos, as I do.

I actually stated that very idea. Thank you for mentioning it! Yes, I thought that if you speak English as a 2nd language (ESL), then it makes sense to turn on subtitles or closed-captions. Great grammar by the way.

Keep it up!

Hi Natasha, you are a breath of fresh air.
Just a neighbor in the upstate saying hi👋
@Coast...: As I was reading "known for its architecture" ...I had to look it up! ...Well, I am suprised! You really have nice REAL houses there. Not just these plywood sheds US citizen seem to live in usally. ;) This must be one of only a few locations with real and also nice houses left in the US. Overall Charleston seems to be worth a visit ...at least If one is forced to visit the US for some odd reason.^^
A very emotional video. I won't say I enjoyed it, but I was moved by it. Your passion for sharing your experiences in your home country is amazing. I am American, originally from Texas. lived and worked in Russia for almost a year, in Kogalym a small oilfield town. As a Western Manager of a Joint Venture company with LUKoil Western Siberia I traveled frequently between Moscow and Knanty Mansiysk and Kogalym. It is amazing to see how similar the life style, culture, infrastructure and buildings are all across Russia. Please stay strong and continue your work. Stay with you main theme of showing the Good in your experiences in Russia and avoid the political issues. Love your videos.
