I did this CAD without looking what you did...At the end, they look identical...but...if you provide the weight..we can compare the results.... Which is the difference between drawing the sketch with hole (top plane) and then extrude versus extruding the base (top plane) and then using extrude cut?

You will have to shift rectangle or create one plane for mirror.
