True I had something similar a Kid drop us in a area and after we landed he complained that we landed in the same place when we dropped. Funny thing is he looted most of the stuff before me and was still bitching. The way I deal with toxic people demanding stuff off me is to find nearest lava pit/edge of the map and drop anything they could want into it, I do this of the full match or for how ever long we survive but I do tell them if they stop being toxic I’ll stop but most of them just cry more even more about it.

As a certified psychologist (not a practicing one though), I think of all the potential reasons people online might behave that way. It's easier to project your own insecurities on someone else under the shroud of anonimity to try to feel superior and successful. On the other hand, it makes my blood boil to see this guy try to stomp on you. He got triggered by thinking you had a devotion and tried to make himself feel better by belittling you. His ego is most certainly vulnerable as knowing he was performing well was not enough gratification for him. And as you Rag pointed it out already, he must be in somewhat of a bad spot in life. I'm just having a hard time emphatizing with people like him in these online gaming situations. It's like they use other people as public trash bags and they never need to face consequences of their actions: they'll never see/speak to the other player again. It's just sad.

I mean you can either try to take the edge off by approaching the attacker in a friendly/cooperative manner or straight up argue/fight with the toxic one. the best part of Apex Legends isn't always about the destination, but the journey... and you had one hell of a journey. i don't play ranked- but i make it personal goal to get to the top level is all for the season each time. i don't play ranked because i am also a gutter tier player and win a match maybe 1 per 20 games play and i have no mates to play with - none of my mates like this game. sucks for them, Apex Legends is amazing and i love this universe since the Titanfall years.

I could have 1000 damage 2 kills and the other 6 kills with 600 damage

the best part of Apex Legends isn't always about the destination, but the journey... and you had one hell of a journey. i don't play ranked- but i make it personal goal to get to the top level is all for the season each time. i don't play ranked because i am also a gutter tier player and win a match maybe 1 per 20 games play and i have no mates to play with - none of my mates like this game. sucks for them, Apex Legends is amazing and i love this universe since the Titanfall years.

To deal with toxics i just mess with there heads and make them feel awkward until they just go silent
