There is a problem with the instructions. I have a 2023 Infiniti QX-55 5-door with flush rails, and purchased the Sightline FX and SC47 SightClips. The website tool arrives at different measurements than the hardcopy instruction sheet that comes with the SightClip 47. Terrible.
Question: need to remove the lock plugs on my non-FX Sightline racks to install the SKS. I assume the plug has to be in the unlocked position (??), but it doesn't seem to want to come out even using pliers. I don't want to break anything. The video doesn't really show the removal itself---how do I remove the plugs which are different from those on my old Ridgeline bases?
true, he was too quick removing the lock plug / cover combos - I had to replay a couple of times at half speed, to figure out he kind of pulled the left side up and out to get it off, which then worked fine
