Man i hate seeing blucas make those minor mistakes that cost him stocks. It's a real set back cause sometimes you literally space out at a random second thinking you landed the PK thunder. Good content between both players. That movement is amazing on Blucas. Can't wait to see more action from the PK boys.

As a Lucas main, 11:21-11:23 was so painful. When you randomly bounce of ledge and then when pk thunder doesn't go the direction you expect. And then he got up b oos at 50? Damn that's tragic
Darnell Yiadom nah he was going for the ledge bounce. He does it regularly. He just missed the rebound recovery
its intentional, im not sure why, but blucas clearly does it intentionally as seen many times throughout this set and all of his gameplay. I don't know if its supposed to be some weird mix-up or if its purely for style lol.

pk rocket also has tech that if you hold down while you’re in it you miss grabbing the ledge and it’s a mix up if they don’t hold shield. i think that’s why blu sds the second time

that works for every character in the game. you don't even have to be recovering, if you're going toward a ledge and you hold down, you won't grab the ledge.

Super Cyclone yeah Links pass ledge with reverse up special all the time to catch opponents sleeping

7:15 I've done that as Lucas. Pretty sure he was trying to hit himself on the bottom to recover but overshot it, because it was off camera and went too far right
I like how the commentator says Lucas and Ness are basically the same character. Then lists a bunch of huge differences. And then goes on to say it’s a broken character, and when the other commentator questions it he back pedals and says “well, not BROKEN”

@@smashssf2_ssbc15 I understand. I used lucas in smash 4 and I saw that he had amazing combos with his down throw (I never did any of those combos online even after hours of practice☹). When I said lucas' nair in smash 4 was satisfying, I was saying I loved how the target would "freeze" for each hit of his nair. In smash ultimate each hit goes by fast it's not satisfying at all. Thanks for clarifying the other guys reply for me.

I have to disagree. Just watch Bestness. He never does anything like that. Always consistent on his recoveries. Blucas, for some reason, just seems to get into his own head and do weird stuff that doesn't make sense like mess up his recovery.
